This has clearly been missing for a long time. The CO is not active. Time to go?
Well, didn't actually get very far as the tide was high, but can CO confirm if it's there please?
A lot of DNFs here. Thanks.
A lot of DNFs here. Thanks.
Can't find it anywhere, there was 3 of us trying to find it and it seemed to be nowhere.
3 of us looked for this and couldn't find it, we looked high and low and it was nowhere to be found. Think its missing
Thank heavens I didn't do the climb. Afternoon out at the playground - received a small injury so had to make the trip worth it with a cache find found with mrbuzzy

Low tide on Good Friday. Don't forget the pen. Its a long walk back to the car. with past1950. TFTC
Out and about with ryanmc05 after an hour or two in the playground. Nice to have a monkey with me. TFTC
Third time lucky here, previous visits were for nearby events and the tide didn't allow access. So made sure it was low tide this time.
Nice walk out past a few fisherpersons. Once at GZ it was a quick spot, retrieve, sign and replace.
Thanks for the cache JadedOptimists

We have been wanting to take the geo kids out to the nearby playground for such a long time. After spending hours having fun on the slides it was time to go home, but not before a short stroll out along the break water. When we were with in 50m I had a fair idea where it would be as there aren't too many safe hiding spots out here.

Enjoyed the walk, made LBug hubby perform the necessary trick to retrieve the cache. TFTC. Found on our great Aussie Road Trip heading East
Bonza! Found on a beaut first day of spring. The walk back was special as we followed a dolphin back to the boat ramp. TFTC!
Found with NiciDanielle and a whole bunch of other cachers after the CITO event We came at the right time it seems! TFTC
Whilst at todays CITO I came across this hide. Nice walk out to the breakwater
Found in the company of a large group of cachers who decided to join me in the walk to this one, and I must say quite the walk it is. I significantly underestimated how far out this breakwater extends! But we got there in the end and made the find with HarleyJohn performing the necessary exercise. The log was completely soaked to the point of uselessness, so we replaced and I have the log in my caching bag. If you would like it, just message me and I'll make sure it reaches you. TFTC JadedOptimists!
At St Kilda Playground with the Robinson Family, the tide was right so off we went. A very pleasant walk to GZ and cache quickly found. Unable to open so took photos, contacted owner and anther smiley gained.
Wandering out her with 3LG and company we found this one a lot lower than the previous finder who was with us remembered so this one was returned to its original spot at least clear of the highwater mark, lots of swans and pacific gulls around with the rough weather TFTC JadedOptimists
Attending the nearby event we were here early so we headed down to this one, was a nice walk and only a few people fishing along here as the breeze was quite cold, after we did this cache and arrived back at the lawn area i found a mobile phone, after a short while the owners husband rang it and was able to reunite the phone back with its owner, she was so happy she was crying, its great when you bring so much happiness to someone : ) TFTC
I had a very enjoyable stroll on lovely sunny day with RyeRye467 and PoPtart394. The cache was well disguised but it didn't take long to find. The log was quite wet so we couldn't sign but have attached a photo log. Thanks for the cache.

Enjoyable walk out to the cache. During school holidays the playground was very busy so it was nice to get away from the crowds. TFTC
You need a special pen to write on wet paper - fortunately I have one.
Looks like the walk to GZ will be easier in the future as some major road reconditioning seems is taking place.
Thanks for the cache, JadedOptomists.

Found on the ground amongst the rocks. Pretty sure it wasn't meant to be there, put it up higher, above water level.
Brodie and I headed out early to enjoy Pi day and by day's end, I'd only found 3 caches but I'd attended 2 events
There was a Pirate party nearby and so Brodie and I, along with many others, took the opportunity of a convenient low tide to wander out to get this cache.
I'd tried once before at night but the tide was rising too quickly and now that I've seen that dip in the walkway, I'm glad that I didn't continue that time!
Thankfully we had the agile Laighside Legends with us for the retrieval and replacement [^]

As part of the Pi event I wandered out to this cache with the Pi-group for a find. TFTC JadedOptimists.
Found It!
A nice little walk out to this one with several others from the nearby event. For some reason I was the only one that could actually retrieve the cache. Not really sure why, it's quite easy, just reach up and grab it!
Then we looked out the island we were kayaking to tomorrow and someone logged a DNF before walking back to the carpark...

After the obligatory pi-rate photo was taken aboard the pi-rate ship many members of the crew headed off in formation to locate this cache. We practiced our plank walking skills as we neared GZ. Fortunately most pi-rates had good balance and managed to stay on the rocky plank. We used pi-rate Laighside's mast scaling skills to retrieve the cache where upon the log was passed down the line and each pi-rate team duly left its mark. On completion the log was returned to pi-rate Laighside who gave a repeat performance of his mast scaling to return the cache.

Was here pretty early around 7.30 and had the place to myself but came up empty handed.
Contacted Huurtle as the previous finder and he gave me detailed instructions so I called in on my way home but still had no luck.
Went for an impromptu Australia Day walk while nearby at the St Kilda Playground with the GeoKids.
The walk was a big more rugged on the feet than my Bestie remembers from her previous visit here years ago!
The kids loved it. We saw all manner of birdlife on the way, including a flock of swans in a V formation overhead and a cheeky pelican landing on the blocks of concrete ahead of us.
Found the cache in first place we looked, pretty much the only place on the structure really.
The log is mash, so we replaced with a dry piece of cardboard. The log scroll needs be replaced properly though.
Thanks for the fun

After finding the two nearby caches, we decided to make the walk out to this one. We had a quick search of a likely structure at GZ before expanding our search area. With no luck we decided to check out the photos and then have a more thorough search of where we first looked :c) Found it but could not sign the very wet log! TFTC!!
Took the "easy" approach to this one, kayaked to it!
However, lots of searching in likely spots and around on the ground near the presumed hiding structure yielded nothing.

Mogni was in town, so that can only mean an evening of laughs and caching. After the nice walk out it was up to me to be the trained monkey to get the cache. But all I found was a rusted computer magnet were I thought the cache should be. It obviously didn't float into there so I used a PAF to contact a recent finder to check if we were in the right place. Whilst she was checking I sat down on a rock. Lucky it was low tide because there, where normally at other time would be water was a lonely little cache. Opening it up I found the new log the PAF has put it, so this was it. Checked where it should have been and using my special geo-pen that writes under water was able to sign the very wet log. It is now back where it should be. Thanks JadedOptimist. And yeah, the white paint on the structure does come away onto you black clothing.....DOH
Wow, this should have earnt us bonus points.... The cache was not where is should have been but rather amazingly spotted by brisal5 in amongst some nearby rocks... Have replaced in the obvious location. Needs a new logbook, previous one waterlogged.
thanks
thanks
What a long an nice walk !! Yep you need to wear a proper shoes for this one and yep log book have been replacement (;
Great hide. Found with princess mel. Feeling brave and got my monkey action on. Only took 10 mins. Couldn't sign log. Too soggy. Tftc
It's such a nice day for a walk we came down to visit the mangroves and the kids went for a play after while the parents checked out nearby caches. This was one of two we picked up in St Kilda, after a lengthy walk on pretty bad terrain, rocks are not nice to walk on. Container must have gotten waterlogged at some point as many of the previous logs are illegible, we had to guess which one was the next available free slot to sign TNLNSL TFTC
We were in the area this morning, so decided to head down to St Kilda and have a look at the adventure park, as we had never been before.
After a bit of a look around the park, we noticed that the tide was out and headed down the breakwater in search of the cache. It was a lot rockier and hard going than we were expecting, but continued the trek nonetheless.
As we got close to GZ, a couple were suspiciously sitting right where we wanted to search... I reckon it was TeamDani! We waited for them to leave, then moved in and made the find.

Came out here after lunch with Uni who apparently found it back in 2009, not that he remembered today. We rode the bikes out. Not sure if it was a wise move, but I think we may be the first to ride bikes to this cache. Right on high tide and the final part of the path was flooded except for the stepping stones. Great cache location, I'm giving it a favourite point.
Right where we thought it would be. After a bit of acrobatics with the both of us, we managed to snag it. TFTC!
Sorry for late log as just realised we found on 11th june 2013 and forgot to log.
Don't know how as was such an impressive cache to have to retrieve.
Trudged out so was not going to give up on it.
The x-trailers[Mick] was the retriever.
Out of my reach.
Did 2 other caches in area the same day.

Visiting from Qld
Noticed that we had not logged this cache on as a find back in June last year -oops
Found on a cold and wet day
Recall it started raining as we headed out to locate the cache with earthlight after locating 2 other caches in the area
Geo hubby had to retrieve the out of the way cache as earthlight and I are vertically challenged .
Nice view from ground zero

Good cache. Great location if you have a tall friend with you out in the middle of the sea. Tftc

A Lovely walk. Beautiful afternoon and very tranquil, the muggles thin out as you get further down the track. Watched the black swans feeding for a while. Checked the tide before departure - we hit GZ about 2 hours after low tide and it was all good. Great cache, thank you.
Miss GG and myself decided to get out of the house and enjoy the nice weather before settling down to watch some motor racing,
Today was low low tide day so we timed this right with the low tide and was able to walk out to the cache, as last time we were here we would of had to swim, Great to have this smiley on the map as its been a long time

Today Darknstormy and i headed out on our normal sunday caching adventures to clean up a few new ones that have been published recently and a few oldies we have not been able to gather before
We had attempted this one a few weeks earlier but silly us came in high tide and couldn't get to it so today we were smart and did the research and came in low tide and made it the entire way
Thanks JadedOptimists for the cache

The three of us were up here today so we could have lots of fun on the playground. It was low tide so Mr Tardis went for a walk along the breakwater. I walked around a bit until I could see the cache. I waited for a boat to go past then made the grab. That goodness I'm tall!
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache JadedOptimist08.

Heading north for a keenly sought Multi, we stopped at the St Kilda playground for a pit stop. Despite the gale force winds, I decided to head out for this one. After viewing recent logs I ascertained the following facts: (i) I shouldn't wear sandals (I did), (ii) I would need to be tall (I am), (iii) I should leave children behind (not sure about this, but I did), and (iv) I should be careful that the log doesn't blow away (I was). The cache is now an excellent example of how stainless steel and mild steel each fare in a marine environment. TFTC JadedOptimists!
