Cache container has given out. With the abundance of caches in the area, I won't be replacing this one. Container retrieved.
Felt like a bit of Zen this lunchtime, and this cache was nearby. Just what I needed. Took the leap of faith, that was luckily just a step, and the cache was soon in my hand. Log was wet but still ok - cache would benefit from repair though Glad it wasn't in one of the big cubes to the south of GZ

Gotcha!
It's a pity that the plants on this "island" seem to have mostly turned to weeds.
Still, it made it easy to walk its length to retrieve the cache without getting feet wet, or taking a leap of faith.
Also, I think the cache container may be slightly damaged as it is no longer watertight, leaving the log quite damp.
Thanks.

Left work at 6.30pm and was really surprised that it was already dark
Still, a cache or two called my name and I ended up here. Probably because I was ready for a bit of Zen peacefulness.
Love the algae growing down the sides of the large cubes in the main lake
I got to near GZ and said to myself 'I have motorbike boots on, no way am I going in there!.'
So glad that both my boots, and my feet, stayed dry while I managed to locus cache

Very neat hide, plenty of muggles today but I just looked like a maintenace man so I could do what needed to be done, the fingerlings are in the water but for how long ,tftc
Found this in the first spot I checked, not too many walking their dogs at this time, so was able to make the grab easily. TFTC
Found at night, worked it out pretty quick thanks to scott. Alistair just sat on instagram.
This cache was the highlight of my day! Out to clear the head while in the middle of studdies, I came to this spot and thought it was spectacular - I definately had a seat for awhile and just cleared my thoughts! I read previous logs and decided that I would prefer to get my feet wet rather than attempt to jump and instead of walking i slipped and slided to the cache. Thanks JadedOptimists a favourite point from me. TFTC
Took my shoes off for this one.. to find out the bottom was very slippery.. lucky I didn't stand up.. found out that getting your feet wet is not needed..

Was a reasonably warm day so feet needed cooling and hopefully didn't look too suspicious to any of the many overlooking windows (nobody in sight).
Did like the container but the catch is broken and may need attention before things get too wet.
Thanks for the cache JadedOptimists

After being muggled out on our first attempt came back with geokids for a quick find. TFTC
Our first find, thank you. Took two goes and reading some comments to find just how how far you need to stretch your legs to find a cache!
Quick find with Task_master Jr. on a caching day out in Mawson Lakes. Thanks TMJ for doing the leap of faith and even taking off the footwear.
Taking off my shoes and looked in the wrong places, Then after placing on the shoes, i did the leap and having task master guiding me we made the find. nice hide, tftc
Out caching in the cool of the evening. Found with a bit of help from a friend and the cover of darkness. TFTC
Way too many muggles around for us to search for this one today
Loved the theme to this little parkland area

Caught the train home and decided to stroll through Mawson Lakes to find a cache before popping into Woolies to grab some ingredients for tea. I approached the cache from the wrong path and ended up nearly completely circling the park before realising it was IN the park!!! I really liked the surroundings, very relaxing and took full benefit of the convenient resting places! (sorry for the late log, I've been so far behind and now am trying to catch up! Found this log in Geosphere on my old iPhone) Thanks, JO!
Enjoyed the challenge and the exercise here, and unbelievably, a mother duck and about 6 ducklings swam to greet me at GZ. Sorry, no bread, just a pen.

A nice find on my holiday around Adelaide. Really enjoying my drive around the area. Found fairly easily. SL TFTC
Found with my mate Fair_Dinkum - decided against the leap of faith on this one, best to have wet feet than a wet butt.
After reading the logs last night, I was pretty sure I new where it was.
So it was a quick find today. Thanks for the sneaky cache.

Spent some time here, without the find.
Still I enjoyed the gardens and water features.

Will be back for this one.
I thought about going for a swim but chickened out.
I thought about going for a swim but chickened out.
Tricky tricky nearly trippy! Like others, debated the jump but a step in the mud was worth it! Good hide!
Gave this a try before but kids were playing near the cache so gave up but today located it worked out how to get it all with out being disturbed. TFTC JadedOptimists
Just doing the 'block' before going to the Event... Read the logs so was prepared for what was to come.. Dazz was going to jump but had second thoughts so sent him for the walk while I took photos..
Thanks JadedOptimists for the cache

After completing a recent Chillibutts challenge, all we could think was how good this place would be for racing paper boats!
Cache easily found, thank you JadedOptimists.

It really is good to have 20+ logs to read when you get stumped at a cache like this..... seriously contemplated a leap, I would have made it, cats are good at that you know, but a thought occurred to me, that garden joins up, why not just step down? Lazy cat. Did a bit of pawing around and uncovered what I was after and recovered it so it wasn't buried as such.
Lazily padded my way back to the car with a find. Thanx for the contemplation.

Out caching with Scoobies and we thought it was here, we thought it was there, we searched almost everywhere. After we had searched every possible space we found ourselves muggled out by Alchemy 2. Four heads were better than 3 or so we thought. The words it just had to be there, kept circling round and eventually the logical hiding place was found. This cache is a tranquil place reminding me of the Peninsula Hot Springs meditation walk.nifty hide TFTC TNLN
Took longer than it should have to find this.. Instincts were right... but searching wasn't good enough...
About to give up.. and having been muggled out by a fellow cacher also looking for it.. we thought.. 'one more look'.. dig deeper.. and bam.. sure enough.. cache was there!
Found whilst out on a caching adventure with FrogHoppin...
Loved the location.

Had to check some other logs for this one, after taking off the shoes and walking around in the shallow slimy water (very slippery!) found I had bravely removed the shoes and hopped in in vain! Finally found a well hidden cache with norfbiartch
Quick Find after revisiting this one, it just had to be there and it was. Great spot TFTC
A quick search soon ruled out a couple of the likely places before stepping back, giving it some thought and putting my hands straight on it. This one will be more difficult in the daytime once all the houses being built around it are completed and occupied. Interesting park - refreshing on a warm day, but will be so much better when the trees mature and provide some shade. TFTC
Wow. I like this little zen park. They have spent some money here! This took us some time (Mogni and me) and mirrors were out, fosicking around, lying down, Mogni's hair went for a dip ... where is this confounded cache??? I review of some logs and we found it. Nice hide... TFTC oh Jaded ones
Chillibutts and I hunted... and then after some reading and thinking it all became clear.
Chillibutts took flight and very soon cache was in hand.
Thanks for a great cache hunt

How do you make a short visit to another city a slightly longer vist?
Add some caches into your day!
I had to be here for a day or two, so I filled in the spare time grabbing a few of the local caches - as you do.!
12.30pm- This was #38 for the trip over from Sydney (I could not waste the opportunity to get some smileys, could I?).
Well, a well hidden container in a pretty peacful spot, but I wonder how long before someone stickybeaks to see why a person was out on the middle like that - maybe a pair of gardening gloves - and each cacher removes a weed - or are the weeds a part of the design? - it is hard to tell sometimes. Well worth the visit though, thanks.

Was expecting to have to conjure up a big bounding leap to reach the spot until my offsider suggested we walk to the end and step down on thhe island DER. Nice little hide, no muggles about. TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1700. Ahh. Flowing water and calming thoughts. David managed to find it without having to resort to the exertions of some earlier visitors. The catch on the container is broken, so it won't be weatherproof. Our thanks to JadedOptimist08.
Will be interesting when the very nearby houses are completed. A cache that was hader to leave than get to, cheers
On my first attempt the GPSr had me looking in the shrubbery, and hating it. I read some logs on getting back to the car and decided another attempt was in order.
Like others I found some lateral thinking was required, ultimately the cache was easily found, but with the nearby building works accessing GZ may become more difficult.
Thanks JadedOptimists

Great little spot, had us foxed to start with till I read the logs and realised I need to take a step out of the ordinary.
So much construction going on down here!!!! Went in the wrong way and had to walk through the construction area. It was already cold and almost raining so I did not want venture into the unknown. After some deep thought, I decided to follow the mystical trail to this one. Soon I had signed the log and back on my way.
Once we stopped being distracted by a nearby feature this cache was found quickly, thanks to Mr Wibble's leaping skills. Really nice landscaping around here, love what they've done with the place. The nearby playground looks neat too, there's a great crocodile made out of softfall in it.
That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind! Great container. What on earth is it? TFTC JO08
A beautiful spot - though we didn't feel the tranquility till after we found the cache. The coords were a little misleading - previous logs put us on the right track. We really enjoyed this area and the cache thanks JadedOptimist08
Second time luck on this one.
The first time I was searching in totally the wrong area.
Managed to stay dry today and make the find in no time.
Cheers JO and happy caching.

Found with FPN. Sent the geograndkid in to find it, but failed. Had to go myself, and unearthed it immediately. More searching lessons required on his part, me thinks! TFTCSL.
On a caching adventure with TBG. This one is only going to get harder. It almost warrants a higher terrain rating, but at least I did not get as wet. Thanks.

22nd of 44 finds
out with Alibida33
Found @ 13:10. Ended up on my backside , which was rather refreshing given the heat of the day. Glad I've got this cache out of the way, the difficulty rating is going to multiply once the surrounding houses(boxes) are occupied.

Last time I came here the GPSr was leading me well into the wet stuff, and with a group of muggles walking a dog around GZ I abandoned it for a more opportune time. After receiving a hint at a recent event, I got to GZ without getting wet and found it in the second place I looked.
Thought that it couldn't be there, then thought it can't be anywhere else as GPS was adamant about it. Thought what the heck. Found relatively easily. No need to get wet feet if you think about it. TFTC

DNFed this one ages ago but it came up at a recent caching event and I got a tip off. Last time I was here was the end of a long day and I just wasn't in the mood to look where it ended up being. TFTC!!!
AFTER SENDING AN EMAIL BECAUSE WE WEREN'T SURE IT WAS THERE, WE WENT BACK AND AFTER A SHORT HUNT WE FOUND IT. OH SO CLOSE LAST TIME. THINK WE NEED TO TAKE A BIT MORE PATIENCE! GOOD HIDING.
Second DNF today. Water features are quite cool but couldnt find this cache anywhere. It doesnt help that a couple were sitting on their balcony having dinner.
Found this cache as part of our Invasion Weekend in Adelaide with my fellow Gangsters. Back today for our 2nd attempt, this time with more succes. It appears yesterday I must have put my foot right on it.

This cache is in a nice area but unfortunatly were were unable to find it today
Finally, one of my caches has been discovered safe and well after 2 others confirmed missing. It's all good.
I think I know where it is now but at the time it was "can't be there" I was swearing like a trooper at Several Jaded Optimist hides today and even avoided one because I had missed so many already. I reckon I was not in the right frame of mind and early one morning when thinking straight I'm going to give them all another try including this one.
Thanks Jaded Optimist, you may have won today but I'll be back!!!! he he.

Really had to laugh at this spot, being new at this I feel guilty looking in some spots, especially if they are in sight of houses, so when I look at hubby taking off his socks and shoes I peed myself laughing. I kept waiting for people to spring us and what excuse can I give for a 33 year old bloke to be playing here?
Found it but couldnt sign it as it is beyond repair.
thanks though, very memorable moment.

Found it, but it's very much the worse for wear! Lid is missing, logsheet it saturated. Signed as 'FW' in the only available bit that wasn't paper mache. Thanks for the cache!
yeah got it, been a long time since the geo hunterz have been looking but we are back
Had another go at this one, this time with the fountain off, still didn't help, couldn't find the cache...
