Thanks for taking us on this nice walk on a lovely morning. Great views from here and a quick find.
Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! We are currently on the first section of our journey, which started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island. We are currently on route to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier (where we are at present), Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. From Melbourne we head to Tasmania for a few days, then back to Melbourne before setting off to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. After a visit to Sydney we will travel on to the Gold Coast, then after spending a few days in the nearby mountainous birding hotspots, followed by an overnight trip to Fraser Island, we will fly from Brisbane to Cairns, visiting yet more good birding sites. We will then drive up to Cape Tribulation before heading back south again to Port Douglas and a day out on the Great Barrier Reef. We then return to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs, where we will hire a 4x4 camper and set off for a week on the circuit to and from Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock. We then fly to Darwin from where we will spend the last two weeks of our holiday making our way to Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
Another nice quick find at Ground Zero on this lovely nature trail. Thanks for the cache.

# 6863. The first full day caching in the area with Robmc and The Morris and we head towards Nelson intending to boat up the Glenelg River to Princess Margaret Rose caves and return.
Instead of heading back to the road we walked on the this one and again made an easy find here. Leaned on the balustrade and watched the birdlife for a while. This walking has made me hot and bothered now but we still have a long walk before we sight the geochariot.
Thanks jgc3

Found on our long weekend in th ePortland area. Today we took the boat down to travel up the Glenelg river and we managed to get a couple of caches along the way.
We took the slight detour from the loop track and added a bit to our walk. Nice big container.

The sun was shining at this GZ, and a very chill wind was whipping up the estuary, as we made the grab. Cache and contents all good. Took nothing, left nothing, as left the rest of our swaps at the car(!). Thanks for another cool cache. Happy Easter!
Visiting Mogni so it was a quick drive around for 9 early morning caches before breakfast. Now it was time to drop a car off at Casterton, so of course just had to stop and get 4 more caches on the way. After lunch at Casterton it was time to do some Vic caches. Another dozen caches found us in the Nelson Pub for dinner. Time to walk off that snitty.
Did the clockwise loop staring here. Quick find. A few people out in the middle fishing. Thanks jgc3

Saw 3 echidnas along our walk, and 2 wallabys, and a duck. So a fairly successful world of animals. Thanks for the cache.
Last before back to the car. The 5 caches along this walk really make a nice series. This made a great start to the day. Thanks for the cache.
Found on day 3 of our Mt Gambier trip. A very pleasant day caching with mogni.
Mr M and mogni decided to take the hike around this area. Mrs M sat it out due to injury. TFTC jqc3.

Monday at BLE and after packing up, Dennisc52 and I left the campsite and parked his car. Well, mine was already dusty and dirty and his was still clean
Dennisc52 and I managed to achieve locus cache 25 times before we parted company and took separate routes back to Adelaide.
However I hung around Nelson for a bit longer and so, by the time that I stopped at Millicent for the night, I had gathered up another 19 locus cache smileys (with 1 DNF ), making this a 45 cache day [^]
Anyway Dennisc52 and I had a nice time here wandering around and finding caches while enjoying the lovely views and wildlife

I was worried about running out of light and so when I couldn't find it fairly quickly I decided to be safe and stop searching. Thank you for a well thought out walk complete with both caches and Munzees. It was lovely to do a walk that was within my capabilities with my various injuries in such a lovely environment. Thank you.
Well our big adventure is up and running with lolfrog, pedal pushers jeffeddy on wards we go
Found during BLE event on a walk around island with Cabbos and Jantoshys. They had found it already so I signed log while they hunted for the munzee.

I think I did the walk the "wrong" way around from the beach, but this viewpoint came up quicker than I thought after the bird hide. Great view at the end of the walk for me. Left a few bits & bobs, thanks.

Back in Nelson, while waiting for some fellow cachers to return from the Mount, decided to duck out before dinner and go for this walk. A great spot, with plenty of wildlife to see, and views back to Nelson to enjoy.

Note to the owner and for future cachers - due to the sandbar at the entrance to the river silting up, the river is well up (little bits of Nelson are flooded) and the road out to this cache is covered in water, at one spot for about 100m.
I have no idea if it is actually passable, but it certainly didn't look it to me. Next time.
You will know from the water levels at Nelson if this changes.
