Exploring a few Geocaches with high favorite points, to introduce some friends to the Game and we came across this one, which impressed us all no end. Nice to see a hide with such effort put into it, TFTC : )
the container came out easily too.

03-Jul-22
Excellent camo and construction on this cache. However the inside container was stuck fast after not being extracted after 21months. I spent about 5 mins digging the dirt around the edge of the inside container, and was then able to wiggle it out of its hideyhole to sign the log. Good to see the logbook going back to 2009 - I can see why this hasnt been muggled.
Fav point for the idea and camo on this one!

too many bugs to sign today, we may need to add a pair of tongs to our geobag

I ended up spending most of the day down south with gridge98 targeting new-ish caches around Willunga and McClaren Vale. The breakfast club event at Morphett Vale meant there was a reason to come this way, and the first part of the morning was a little sporadic before we did a few of the Cats and Dogs series, and then tried to clean out Willunga. A nice day out with just over 50 finds.

A nice and creative cache with this one. Certainly took my jeep a run for its money driving this track, but was fun. Further down this road had some serious water puddles, so glad I didn't need to drive down any further. Nice work for this one, and a fun adventure, so Favourite Point from me!

03-Aug-19
Made the drive down to this one, a well designed cache that didn’t take to long to find

Out for the day down south to solely go to the 3rd breakfast club event, with not much of a plan other than to just find caches Davidwazza and I set out to find cache around McLaren Vale/Wilunga area. A nice day out with just over 50 finds.

Following the instructions, (as we didn't have 4WD)
We walked along the track & it was a pleasant evening to complete this one.
Not sue I would want this track so close to my backdoor.
We had the track to ourselves and soon the 250 metres came into view.
Clever camo, log & container in good condition thanks for the walk Ozibags

Had been past this one before but at that time was unable to stop and go for the walk. Sad Today I was in the area with time so headed off along the very sandy track...lots of fresh tyre tracks, I bet the bikers and 4WDers have fun along here. Cool Arrived at GZ and found the great little hide after a bit of a look around. Cool
Thanks for the cache Ozibags. Big Grin

Yet another ozibags beauty. Cleverly done. Thanks Ozibags.

That is a fairly awesome little creation. I'm glad I didn't open it, though, given the "huge spider" reference in a previous log. No muggles flying past today, happily, just a really top quality hide. TFTC, Ozibags. =^.^=

29-Mar-14
Went for a drive along here Friday night with some friends so thought I'd return in the day to try find this 1. I thought the huge spider was fake since the hint is a bug until it moved and I was pretty close to needing some new pants. Great drive here! TFTC

18-Feb-14
I had to head down to SA for a conference and I asked Mrs LLJ to accompany me as I thought if I asked Mr LLJ tongues would wag more than they already do Razz so we left Mr LLJ to his own nasty devices for a few days while we set off to visit our good friend Mr Ozibags.

After a delightful catch up the night before we set about before brekkie to find the first of Mr O's caches for the day. What a great track - I marvelled at all the wild fennel and olives along the way and wished that the olives were ready so I could have brined some, however I had to be content with taking a few pictures and a bit of video.

The cache is very cleverly constructed, although upon arrive Mr O found that someone had a bit to much of a liking too it but the main part is in good condition and working well.

After signing the log book we were back under way towards home base, Mr O gave some pointers about the locally grown grapes as we passed the vineyards much to my delight, video is on the way Big Grin

TFTC Mr O

Staying with Mr O for a short visit, we had to earn our breakfast so off we went for a walk. Razz A lovely walk it was too - no motor bikes at that hour, fortunately! I spied the cache as we closed in. Mr O was disappointed that someone has decided part of his cache hide would be of better use to them Surprised Log signed and some minor repair work then off we trotted for some well earned breakfast Big Grin
TFTC and a delightful breakfast, Mr O [^]

A nice little walk to this cache, but it sure took a while to find it. We had all but given up when I put my hand on the right object and noticed that it moved a bit too easily. Big Grin

There were a lot of tiny baby spiders running about all over the place, and sure enough, big mamma spider was lurking inside too. Surprised

It's always good to find such a well made cache.

Thanks Ozibags.

Sorry Ozibags for the generic log but I'm trying to catch up on my logging, I currently have over 1000 to log before hitting some powertrails in the US after the block party next week. As always I enjoy the hunt whether I'm solo or with some of my caching or muggle friends. Thanks to those who have accompanied me to make the day more pleasurable and many thanks Ozibags for placing this cache.

If I had had a 4WD I still wouldn't have used it. It was an enjoyable stroll to GZ where that very good hide was found soon enough. Some debris had gotten in there compromising it a little but that was easily fixed.

Very well done Ozibags on the hide - they can be hard to do. A favourite from me.

We enjoyed the stroll. I love banksias so was particularly pleasant for me.

Today we did a huge challange and achieved 178 caches in a 24 hour period starting at gawler on a bicycle at midnight and finishing at the mclaren vale in a car 24 hours later. Sweat, blood and laughter was part and parcel to find a cache every 8 minutes for 24 hours. We found this cache and thankyou for making our challange possible. We were assisted in our challange by emily~angel & dennisC52, Thanks guys you did a fantastic job. We had a ball and were very tired in the end, maybe I'll not cache tommorow hahaha.TFTCSL TNLN you should see our track from the GPS 320km driven in total for the day with 185 caches visited.

Find 148 of 178 for the day. Started at Midnight this morning with the Nxy challenge, and continued till midnight tonight in a 24 hour caching hunt with McKee Clan on our bikes, and then joined at 3:30am by Emily~Angel, swapping our bikes for a 4WD, and finishing at Maclaren Vale with 178 finds for the day for McKee Clan and I, and about 120 for Emily~Angel. Had a ball, but was glad to hug the pillow in the end. See the McKee Clan log for more info.

08-Aug-10
Going in to the cache I could see recent car wheel tracks, and foot prints heading back to the road. Once i reached GZ the reason was obvious - there was a soft-roader stuck in the middle of a big puddle of water not far from GZ, the water was half way up the doors.

This was an easy find, but I can understand why people have trouble with it.

Thanks for the cache, and taking the effort to make a special hide, Ozibags.

I had half considered driving to this one, but thankfully sense prevailed.

We wandered and wandered and wandered around. Then I noticed something that was not quite right, and a closer search revealed the cache. Well done!

29-Aug-09
Took a while to find in the dark as the torch light plays funny tricks on the eyes and the locals kids cubby house reminded me of the Blair Witch movie, but the there were no shadows on this cache when I found it by accident.
Loved the time and effort gone into making this one.

Took the Geo Ranger the full length of this track with no problems at all. An excellent hide with lots of thought and effort put into its manufacture, in fact if the young Geo son hadn't accidently knocked it over I would probably never have found it at all.

Logged from my phone using the Geocache Navigator by Trimble

Looking at the map, I instructed Ben to turn right and he said: WHERE?! Down THERE?! Read the notes afterwards. I would've taken the HoboFalcon down there though Very Happy

Unfortunately a DNF today, had a good look but no luck. Seems some local kids have moved their cubby house in very nearby, could possibly be missing?

Cheers for the Hunt,

21-Jun-09
Park and walk. Thats for others (Pajero owners mainly).

We took the mighty prado into within about 150 meters before Astro and Freddo decided I should stop scratching the duco.

I had been here before for a dnf andAstro had been here for a win.

He wanted Freddo to find it so I wandered around aimlessly (as usual) while the Frog went on the hunt.

Excellent hide and work at GZ, bonus points for the special treat on top of the cache.
