This has been on my solved list for a number of years. In the area today with ABCDF4 and eyepyben so stopped for a look. Noticed that it had not been found for 3 years. Started the search at GZ and surprised to locate the cache very quickly. Log was wet so we signed a piece of paper and added to the cache. So pleased to finally collect. Thank you for the placement.
Back up in the area with KGD and ABCDF4Hopefully do this areaThanks to CO for making our day
In the area with KGD and EyespyBen todayKGD got this one after three years from the last findNice to pick up the final
A very cool puzzle solve thanks!
Had a big nudge from a PF ..learnt something new !
In area today so it made sense to get the final.
Had to laugh when I saw the location on the map!
Never been here before...
Didn't see it at first...but one of
our team soon uncovered it.
Favorite point for the puzzle!

Enjoyed working this solve out while having coffee with geomates .All good here thanks .
An interesting puzzle cache subject. Solved way back in 2016 so nice to now make the final. TFTC and puzzle.
I solved this a long time ago and have a vague recollection of touching a few nerves. On my way west for a stag do so picking up a few solves on the way. TFTC.
I’ll admit I looked at this puzzle many times and was constantly confused by what to do.
I reached out to a PF who set me down the right path.
As soon as I knew the source material, I had this solved quickly.
Stopped by to pick up my result.
Thanks for the fun puzzle and cache!

I took advantage of the government's permission to exercise and went out to grab this one. I was a bit worried as I approached GZ, but then I overcame my nerves.
A long time ago, I looked at this puzzle and tried the wrong way. I picked it up recently and figured out the right way to solve the puzzle. TFTC.

Puzzle solved a while ago by Scottie. Tried to collect a few months back but cache was missing in action. Popped along today during lunch and made a quick find. All good. Thanks for replacing. Daily cache sorted.
Puzzle solved by Scottie a few months back. In the area today and needing our daily fix but no good here. 3 of us had a good search around gz but did not uncover the hide.
Auckland Day 1: Royal Oak - Onehunga
Back in Auckland for the month, and it’s time to pick up yet more caches that I have yet to find for some reason or other. After sleeping off the jet lag this morning, it was time to go get some caches after lunch. I was driven to Pah Homestead where I started my long walk, and ended off the day by the Manukau Harbour. Very good fun, thanks to some brilliantly constructed caches in this part of Auckland.
The following is the specific log for the cache:
This took a while to figure out, but one fine evening, the right set of neurons fired in the recesses of my memory and I figured out what needed to be done. After a little trial and error, the coordinates were found and I just had to collect it today. The place was all quiet, and a quick squat in the corner revealed the cache hide. TFTC and nice puzzle!

Needed a cache for our dot day - and this one was a short detour on the way home from work. The puzzle really did our heads in, and after consulting a previous finder found our error. Glad to say that the find was much easier than the solve. The log book is a little damp, but we managed to sign in anyway.
After seeing this one for years and not doing anything about it, I finally decided to try my luck with the solve during the week and after a short while had some good looking coords in an appropriately named location.
Started here today with TheMexikiwi and wandered over for a quick find in the likely spot. Log is quite damp, but still fine for writing on. Very nicely done - TFTC

2.20pm - This weekend was to complete the Planetary souvenir challenge.
We had not really done anything towards this but after reading the requirements realised puzzle caches with lots of favourites was the way to go.
Quick plan devised route plotted and we hit the road.
We also collected any traditional caches that we came upon as we went.
Some puzzles hadn't being done for some time but apart from a couple of DNF'S the required telly reached.
Thanks for all the caches on the way and the Indiana Jard puzzle series difenetly gets fav"s from me. SLTFTC

With family... Visiting Auckland over the weekend for a mini break...
It’s hard trying to geocache with people that don’t share your passion... I could go berserk chasing down numbers today, but I feel guilty that I am intruding in the activity of others. I am resigned to picking up the odd few in passing...
One of our more recent Auckland fun solves. We enjoyed this clever puzzle... This one took several sweeps to locate as the iPhone gps swung all over the place. There was a bit of rubbish surrounding the actual final, and the cache container certainly fitted in... TFTP and TFTC.

This puzzle truely got on my nerves. Looked at it years ago but only got so far. Looked at the puzzle again recently with fresh eyes & soon had what l needed. Walked to GZ early this morning to make a quick find. Log book is a bit mucky but still able to be written in. So happy to turn this into a smiley. TFTC
Today we decided to do a little loop around Auckland picking up our accumulation of solved puzzle caches, some we've solved recently, and others we've solved yonks ago.
Solved this puzzle a few weeks ago, while we were having a little puzzle solving session with some friends of ours, and they pointed us in the right direction to get the coordinates for this puzzle that had been on our nerves for quite some time. Once we were on the right track, we quickly got the coordinates, and it all soon fell into place. Unfortunately, we had swung by the night to pick up the container, but there was a muggle right outside the small reserve, washing her car and was staring and watching our every move with great trepidation. Of course, we ended up feeling quite unnerved, so we decided to return at a later date. This time, we pulled up to the reserve, and not a soul about, so we were able to walk right up to GZ, and make this quick find. Thanks for the fun little puzzle and cache, defintely learnt a few things!

Have looked at this quickly several times and never got past the first stage which is easy enough. Had a little more time to spend on it last night and slowly nutted it out to get the right results. A little juggling of one of the number and the result was confirmed. Picked up the cache this morning while in the area; cache is very damp but was still able to log our details. TFTC the cache and puzzle - enjoyed learning a few new things. FP added.
This has been in my solved pile for awhile, and being here previously was unsuccessful in my search. Today arrived to see the area has been weeded and cleaned up, and what did I spot? the cache container partially buried without its camo, in the open
Log book damp, but was able to sign, removed the items that were rusty and the pen seized. Returned to its hiding place, covered with natural camo and a piece of concrete.
Thanks for the puzzle (had an idea, luckily it matched the CO and I soon had created some co-ords), and the hide!

Found this one with the geowife today after casing out a few spots to place some geocaches. I solved this one a couple of weeks ago after gleaning a hint from an online puzzle discussion group from a conversation two people were having about a similar puzzle in either the states of the UK - I forget which.
Armed with the right answer and a beautful late winter day we set off for GZ. It was geowife that made the find after I had prematurely expanded the search radius - she perservered at the coordinates and found it. After 10 months between finds the log book is a bit worse for wear, very wet but we were able to write our name in the logbook. Swapped a trinked and replaced the log safe and sound. TFTC and interesting puzzle to solve.

Bugger, just realised I had made a mistake in the co-ordinates - they took us to the wrong part of the right reserve. No wonder we couldn't find it.
Out with Merlot58 today collecting a few puzzles caches we had both solved. My daughter made the find on this one. Tftc
I was out with the Davidson clan picking up some puzzle caches that we had both solved. It turned out I did have the nerve to do this one and I learnt something while I was at it. A nice little park that I didn't know existed too. TFTC and puzzle
Looked at this and thought wtf, then sat down and had another look quick solve this time. I am sure i logged this as found earlier but obviously not all my nerve functions are working. Thanks for the lesson an tftc.
Solved this one about 6 months ago. Prior to that although I had looked at this puzzle, I had a rough idea on how to solve it. It wasn't until I decided to apply myself did the coordinates eventually revealed themselves. Possibly popping some aspirin helped .
Today driving past the GZ, I decided that it was about time that I finally collected this cache. Quick and easy find at the GZ with yet another solved puzzle cache removed from my "to be collected" list.

Nice one!! I've looked at this puzzle many times over the years. The "?" is very conspicuous on my Auckland map and close to where I stay where I'm up here. Last week something finally clicked in my brain and the neurons and synapses started firing. It still took a while to solve but I knew I was on the right track now. Up in Auckland for a couple of days work so today was the day to go and find it. Took a bit of poking and prodding but once I got at the right angle I spotted the cache. All good here. TFTC, Biggles.
TFTC. A more relaxed MEGA caching day was planned for PWR PKT (karma reprint, The Wanglers and purdiepurdie), spending time around the city picking up puzzles or caches of speccific interest. When we DNFed another cache this was a speed solve over lunch so we could tick a box for a challenge back home.
Greta puzzle and most appropriate GZ.
Thanks for creating this puzzle.

Thanks for creating this puzzle.
Met up with some cahing buddies, purdiepurdie and karma reprint (team PWR PKT) after a short 'nap'. Our plan was to get things collected to complete some challenges and the 'must do' Auckland caches. The plan was to take it 'easy' after our epic 600+ km drive yesterday. We met up in the morning to kick off MEGA and then headed out for some adventure we only did 200km today). We had a DNF on another puzzle with CO's name beginning with P and I needed a CO that began with P and owned a puzzle. We had to stop for lunch and we whipped out the tech and found this puzzle, with a retraining nurse and the internet we sorted this one out, we had trouble with the wording of one but soon nailed it. We loaded up the coords and headed out to this on. Slight orientation issues with navigator but we mastered that and drove onto the street where GZ was, duh, nice spot and of course. Thought about searching for this one too. It was great to get this one sorted, great puzzle and this one sorts me out for my challenge too, bonus. Great puzzle and good fun. Gets a favourite from me.
Thanks for the cache.

Found by Team PWR PKT,( PurdiePurdie, TheWanglers and KarmaReprint) building on our AWESOME day yesterday. Solved over a Subway lunch to enable TW to qualify for a challenge cache back home Thanks for the hide.
We've had this cache sitting in our 'solved' list for literally years so we decided on a quick night mission after work to knock a few of the local ones off (and we needed 5 x cache types for a challenge ).
It's amazing how often you can drive past an area and never even know it is there. TFTP PhilipA.

Recruited the in-laws' puzzle solving skills for this one. Between us, with Mrs McArgister on the iPad, we solved this one (after going slightly wrong once) after dinner and I was out to make the find within 24 hours. Mrs & mini McA fancied some fresh air so off we went. Quick find with the coords. Mrs McA signed on my behalf after I got muddy hands!
An interesting puzzle which didn't take too long to solve once I cottoned on what was required and did a bit of research.
Swung by after work to make the find and found after a wee search at GZ.
Thanks!

Was up in Auckland with a Trio of cachers picking up puzzles that we had solved. This was one of the last ones that we collected before heading off to the skills event cache.
Cache was quickly found with 3 sets of eyes looking for it.

On our way to the Auckland puzzle skills event & taking the opportunity to grab a few solved puzzles on the way. A wry smile when we got closer to GZ, love the themed placement. TFTPC
Off to the Auckland Puzzle day (with a cadre of Hamilton cachers) so decieded that it was appropriate to collect as many puzzles and challenges as we could along the way.
Took a bit of a search, but proberly because we are all blind, but got there in the end

This one has had me stumped for ages. Found with mike-miss, and very glad to have finally found this one.
This puzzle had me stumped for quite some time. I couldnt seem to figure out the calculations until a few weeks ago when i dug a little deeper and it all made sense and resulted in a green tick. Out and about today with stretch.kerr and stopped in here to put an end to this one. A quick find at GZ with no one around. TFTP&C!
I had had a very very brief look at this puzzle a long time ago but dismissed it for more pressing matters, probably an FTF somewhere or something. Anyway, took another look at this just yesterday and with synapses firing, I had more than a vague idea of what I needed to do - all the required numbers seemed to fall into place relatively easily. Some recent logs had me a little nervous about GZ, but when I arrived it was all quiet. The GPS was definitely suffering some disorientation and was telling me that the cache was still 22m away when I could go no further, but I'm sure that was the GPS playing up, not bad coords - the cache itself, in spite of this, was found very quickly in the obvious spot. I think the log book may have been a little damp, but writeable anyway. An interesting puzzle, thanks. TFTC!!!
Finally got rid of the nerves and attempted this cache. Nicely placed final. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache
Nice puzzle, the background image certainly helped along with some wikipedia interrogation ...I wish all the puzzles were this easy. The tricky part was trying to look purposeful in this suburban park - not sure if the dog-walker knew what I was doing or not..
Dropped off a TB for a visit.

I definitely enjoyed the puzzle, and thanks to my A&P classes in college I knew exactly what I needed to look up to solve the puzzle. Overall not too hard of a puzzle to solve with the right knowhow and the ability to do some research. Out for the find today and the GPS took me right to the cache. The reserve was empty probably thanks to the rain earlier today so no problems signing and rehiding. TFTC!
I have a very bad habit of solving puzzle caches, saving the corrected coordinates in GSAK and then forgetting about them.
This happened with this cache. Solved the puzzle so long ago I can't even remember doing it and then today realised we were nearby to the cache. Tentively went to GZ as we weren't sure the coordinates were even correct and there it was! Yay - another smiley

I think it took three goes but I finally got a sensiable looking solution. I was reasonably quick to determine what needed to be done with this puzzle but I got confused on a couple of the instructions. So, whenever I corrected for one the other was still wrong. Eventually saw the error of my ways and got the green tick. I was worried that I was in for a bit of a rumage at GZ but the cache was not exactly covered so I made a quick find. Apllied some natural camo on return. Cheers for the puzzle and the cache!
Found with ipiphi and the genius MelodiusPrime who saved much research by just knowing everything, literally. TFTC! A cool puzzle, one I wouldn't have managed without Mel, or half an hour with wikipedia. Cheers.
Our resident biology nerd solved it straight away saving us the effort of actual research . The cache itself was easy enough to find.

Enjoyed solving this puzzle a few weeks ago. Called by for the find this morning. Cache appears to have lost its camo, but all dry inside. Thanks

had bundles of fun solving this one, without too much anxiety. So on impulse, we decided to look for the cache on the way home in the motor today. at Gz, the neighbours seemed sympathetic to our cause, as they let us search in peace. we sensed where the cache would be, and the coords led us straight to it.TFTPC
A good cache for find #75 which had me thinking for a while over the puzzle before I solved it a few day ago. Today saw me driving past to make a quick find without seeing a single neighbour around.
I had picked up the puzzle from time to time but only to put it down and away each time. This time I took that extra step and bingo it was solved. That's a great puzzle. I only had a bit of trouble with "e" but through trial and terror I managed to get Geochecker to give a "Success".
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Quickly solved the puzzle and was finally in the area today for a quick find. TFTC
Enjoyed solving the puzzle. Walked to this one, just around the corner from home. Neighbours across the street outside, so took an interest in the cicada shells all over one of the trees and collected quite a few for Team Bonafide.
Finally the coast became clear and we found the cache. Hmm might have to move as quite exposed to beady eyes. TFTC

Under the scutiny of neighbours from the minute we pulled up, didn't have the nerve to get out of the vehicle - pretended to be interested in the open home acroos the street.
It is difficult to do this cache without being seen by the neighbours. The one on the upper side of the park knows it is a geocache- she accosted me when I was there initially. The other neighbours don't. I may have to relocate this cache.

What a Nerve!!! – No problems extracting the required numbers, but felt really nervous grabbing this one… what with the nosey muggle neighbour within eye sight… keeping a beady eye on proceedings. Managed to grab the cache and sign logbook without them being any wiser, we hope. Many thanks for a well themed cache… nicely done.

Took a while before the vaguest of ideas formed, but it soon bore fruit and the rest fell into place. Enjoyed the research, nice puzzle!. Cache quickly found, but some of the camo has already succumbed. TNLN, cheers!

Tricky puzzle - in fact I had to make use of some parts of my brain that I didn't know I had, in order to solve it.
Got a bit stuck on def - couldn't figure out which way to look first.
Then on to geochecker, took quite a few goes, not very forgiving of me putting W instead of E in the longitude [:o)]
Thanks for the cache PhilipA - I enjoyed it.

Well done Greenblat for being FTF even if I found a mistake already- no wonder it was a little difficult. I have changed things to make the sums right. Even my brain was becoming confused!
