A fantastic beach drive from Nene then up THAT hill and we arrived.
A rocky walk to the pyramid to find the anchored cache all save and well, No drift. Pic attached.
Thanks to -Beaker- and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
An adventurous walk out to the pyramid and we found the anchored cache after a short search. A great spot to get to today. TFTC
Before leaving home with TT016 & my grand-daughters, we checked the tide times and found them to be perfect for the estimated time of our arrival.
We had a very adventurous drive coming from Nene Valley along the beach then up the rather steep, rocky track off the beach. Low range was selected. We arrived to find the path to the pyramid was clear of water.
We walked to the pyramid & climbed up. It was extremely windy. I ended up covered with sand, in my ears, in my eyes & in my hair.
It didn't take long to find the cache. Very glad to change this blue sad face to a smiley face today.
The girls had fun playing in the sand & leaping around the rock pools.
We had a great day.

Mr Nicko57 and Mr sylken decided to enjoy a day grabbing a few caches to add a few more smileys to the map.
We had picked the day with the lowest tide this month but not low enough without getting wet on the way to GZ. Decided to stay dry today.
Thanks for the hide anyway -Beaker-

Found It!
A very rough drive into this one but an interesting spot once you get there. Then a nice little walk out to the 'pyramid' and a quick find once I had climbed to the top! Always great to find these caches that take you to places you never would have visited otherwise!

i drove down from nene valley. stopped to get the caches along the way, made it all the way to middle point. I even placed one along the way. I do like the location of this one. I didn't realize that there was 2 caches here until i got back to adelaide. I stamped the " new one " since it's the first one i found. fav point for location and the fun driving here.
found with mogni. The target this australia day long weekend was 3 island caches, ladder entry in to a cave, a few tree/structure climbs, finishing mine and mogni's tradition fizzy grids, driving for 10's of km's along the coast line at various spots ( longest stretch was over 30 km's ) and a multi on a calendar day for me plus a puzzle and multi on calendar days for mogni.

Out this way today and thought it was high time I got a smiley for this cache. Track in was slow going but I wasn't in any hurry. Walk out to the pyramid was nice and dry and the climb better than I was expecting. Didn't use the phone or GPS as I had looked online before heading out and noticed the cache had been replaced.
The second spot I looked I saw the cache and opening the log book got quite a surprise with the amount of names in it. Last entry was December 2018 and the log book is in A1 condition. Took some photos and replaced cache before looking for the new cache and finding that one also. Thought I might as well sign that one too. Great spot Beaker and fav point given.

This weekend, jesswrigley and I headed to Glencoe and Mount Gambier for some scuba diving, 4WD and geocaching/sightseeing adventures. Saturday was spent cave diving, Sunday was used to dive Ewens Ponds and 4WD along the southen coast from Port MacDonnell to Blackfellows Caves, while Monday we drove back to Adelaide via Millicent, Southend, Beachport, and Cape Jaffa. A busy long weekend in the south-east.
Today, jesswrigley and I started the day with a Mount Gambier breakfast, followed by a booked morning dive in Ewens Ponds. It was jesswrigley's first fresh water scuba dive, and a rather enjoyable experience with the sun out. We then drove along the coast, and where I was expecting a continual coast road, it looked like we had to go inland and back out a fair bit. We went through Cape Douglas, and put the jeep through its paces up the rocky ascents/descents. The track then filtered out, and we were left to continue our travels along some very soft beach sand. We were getting a little worried since it was getting late in the day, but once we lowered the vehicle's tyre pressure down, it was reasonably easy driving. A fun day out!
In preparation for this trip, I noted that this geocache was carrying a couple of DNFs that appeared to have been a thorough search, and hence likelihood of this cache being missing, so I messaged the CO, who confirmed his ok of me replacing the cache if I also hadn't been able to find it. Subsequently, we rolled up nearby, and I kitted up in my drysuit, so I could make the crossing. It wasn't too bad, and if I had remembered to pack my waders, that would have been even easier to have worn.
Once across, I climbed up the pyramid to the very top, and started searching around. After exhausting all of the possibilities that appeared to be around the hint, I placed a new cache under a small ledge near the top. It shouldn't be too hard for future finders - look for a small ledge with SPOR. Thanks [@-Beaker-](http://coord.info/PRN1VJ) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was also nice to have found this cache with 1113 days [36.6 months / 3.05 years] of unfound love since its last find on 21/05/2017.
What was interesting about our visit was that there was a nearby dead whale carcass that had washed up on the beach. It wasn't really too smelly, and more interesting than anything!

Came via 4wd track with TT016. We rock hopped across to the island. We were hoping to find this unloved cache.
Looked at the hint. Searched & searched under the rock ledge & under & in every nook n cranny for about half hour but came up empty handed.
Guess we will have to return.
It was an adventure getting here though.

Found whilst on our Road Trip to Mt Gambier with us, TR!, Tomboy711, Snap Happy, and there was an event nearby and this cache was on our to do list.
We walked around the beach and on the big climb we did find a cache and we signed this guy. NIce hide in plain view, well hidden, this little cache is a must do. It was a great little walk and a few caches collected and signed, always time for another trip back to the Mount

Thanks to those who have replaced the cache container. A more permanent, sturdy container will be in place soon
Found while while exploring the area with friends. Was hard work to find in thongs definately different views from this place TNLNSL thanks
#3602 We drove toward this cache hoping that the tide would be on our side at this time of the day.....fortunately it was. After some rock hopping and then a bit of a scramble toward the top and we wandered "around" a couple of times before the very nicely concealed container was located. Loved it - favourite! Thanks heaps -Beaker- headed back before we got wet feet [^]
Spent today heading along the coast, doing some 4X4 driving and grabbing caches as we went.
We found the string and the top but not the rest so put in a replacement. TFTC.

Heading home from The Big Little Event, did a few cache along the coast and Mt Gambier....
Teamed up with FireSafe and Honeysucker and did some 4x4 required cache too...
To add to Firesafe and Squalid's logs, we tried in vain to locate the bottom half of the cache. Being in such a brutal coastal location it is any wonder it has succumbed to the perils of nature!
We decided to return to the car, after enjoying the reverse coastal views and see if we could come up with a suitable replacement in our bits and pieces.
Just then Squalid turned up (it was me whom you couldn't remember the name of! lol) and we gave them the replacement cache to hopefully fashion a secure anchor point with.
A great place to visit on our little coastal adventure...
TNLNSL
Thanks

Found on our trip to the Little Big Event with Firesafe found and did some maintenance
Met up with Honeysucker, Firesafe, and another SA whose name we're not sure of (sorry!) who had just been up to the cache and said it was in dire need of maintenance. After giving us some supplies we were able to fix it. The views up here were idyllic, especially of the white beach below, which we romped back down to and had a swim in. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely spot.
Found on our second visit to this awesome spot!! Container was in two, but we managed to retrieve the bottom half and sign the log. I've removed the base and will return a new container by in the next couple of weeks.... The top still remains so a find can be made!!
Thanks for a great adventure Beaker

While in the area today, we couldn't leave without giving this one a go [:o)].
Walked over from the mainland and spent quite some time looking before our driver reached into the right spot [^].
TNLNSL.
As mentioned before, the container is broken, but the logbook/bag is holding it all together (for now anyway) .
This is a fantastic spot (apart from getting sandblasted) and our adventure cache of the day !
Thanks for one more Beaker.

Another DNF for the day but GeoBub decided it was enough for the day and so Steve didn't get alot of time to check all the nooks and crannies. Thanks for bringing us out here anyway, beautiful location.

Last time I saw the pyramid it was from a distance and it was surrounded by water, but today I finally got a smiley for this lonely cache on my unfound list.
Took a while to find as the sands of time had certainly done their work at extending the difficulty of this clever hide. After finding the cache we had a nice time exploring the surrounding rock pools.
The container is broken and no longer water tight, but everything is still dry.
Thanks Beaker for bringing me back to this beautiful area

no luck for us and the tide wasn't giving us much time to look either!
we'll be back......

I had other reasons for being here today. As the tide was low this cache was doable, it was found after a couple of laps around the top.

Took geokids for a long walk as they had lots of energy to burn. Round trip was about 3.0ks which took as a few hours as the kids explored the area and near by reefs. Eventually arrived at the location and had cache in hand. Kids spent more time exploring the area. Verdict.. great location Beaker.. kids had a ball. Yep you do need to check the tide times before go to this location

I have been out here before and it was every bit as enjoyable this time round.
You have to love this drive.
Tide was out so there was a nice flat area to walk out on.
Like the previous searcher I was unable to locate the cache at the indicated site.
Knowing Beakers love of holes I tried to get down as deep into all the ones at GZ as I could.
I have put in a weatherproof replacement wilth a lanyard that is tied to the rock so that should keep it safe. I hid the rope with a rock for muggle protection.
Hopefully this will keep this excellent cache going for a long time.

Very cold windy day and geo man decided to wade though the water after spying the island from a close cache point. After much searching and a phone a friend still couldn't find it. Will be back on a warmer day, with shoes and will also check for a low tide first.
Extreme caching Great views Long walk for 2WD from car park TFTC SL
