On second thoughts the GZ is prone to flooding so it is unfair to bring people here after a heavy rain and the cache could be washed away. It was fun while it lasted. Thanks to those who found this one. My first cache - R.I.P.
If I had seen the log entries I would hav skipped this one. Nothing to be found here, if anyone tries to find it, don't because u only ruin ur shoes in quick mud.
We didn't check the previous logs before wandering down from A Tunnel if we had we could have saved ourselves the walk.
Nothing to be found here

Just like last log. It needs a look at. Plus dog poo everywhere. Don't fancy getting on my hands and knees to look
Walked down from A Tunnel only to find a bundle of scattered log pages in the area. Gathered them up and placed them where I thought the cache would have been (sat lock a bit sketchy). Cache might be a goner??
Out for an afternoon's caching with DJAJ
Great cache, very enjoyable.

Nice hide!! Found with Liz and Bruce during a 70 odd cache weekend. It was great to meet and go geocaching with these two mad geocachers. TFTC!
This was a surprise area to find [^] and also very quiet today (pity there's no water).
Took lizard. Left BIG spider . SL.
Thanks for bringing us here Team Hamam.

My first cache find for the year, I came down here to clear the mind after an unsuccesful search for a nearby cache.
Found with Strats and Teddie while we at a Xmas party 100m away, nice quick and easy find, no one realised we were gone
[:o)][:o)] Found it good hide safely lucky no water on creek.T.N.L.N

We routinely check in on this one as it's a 10 minute walk from home. This visit is a bit special though as I'm dropping in Stef's Birthday Turtle TB to complete it's first mission!
Also returning with some TBs from a trip to NZ.
Cache is still in good shape - had some cobwebs around it though as it had been a month or so since it was last touched.

Found on an Adelaide Invasion in the company of Big Matt and Shell, The Rats and Steeba on our 24hr record caching run. TFTC

Certainly weren't any yabbies here today. We should have parked in the street just nearby but the walk didn't hurt us. TFTC!

The Gangsters (The Rats, Big Matt & Shell, Farmer Frentzen and Steeba) found this cache as part of our record breaking run around Adelaide. The auto-routing function had us approaching from the wrong spot.
Thanks for being part of the hunt.

Found this cache on our Adelaide invasion trip with Steeba, The Rats and FarmerFrentzen. This is find number 133 on the Australasian record attempt.
Thanks Team Hamam for the cache. Good old Garmin trying to take us up a bike path!

Called by for a quick find. Luckily no-one was around to thwart the search. Thanks for the cache Team Hamam.
There was no water in the creek today but plenty of walkers enjoying this linear park.
I checked where I first thought it would be twice and only spotted it on the third pass.
Thanks.

We walk along here routinely, so the kids often stop to throw rocks into the creek when it's flowing and take a look to make sure it's still there. Today we're dipping a couple of TBs to mark the final leg of their rather long stay with us. T4TC again
Nearly gave this one up for lost, as GZ seemed to have a hard time deciding where it wanted to be. Experience told where the cache was probably going to be, but we were still looking in the wrong area for a while. The day was saved by quitter’s luck in the end. No swaps.
After quite a bit of fruitless searching it was geoson who found this one. Even better he looked where mum had already "looked"! TFTC. Swapped a couple of toys.
Standing in the creek signing the log when a muggle dog walker popped out of the tree line. He gave me a dirty look shook his head and kept on walking. I had a great time and still amazed at the muggles reaction. TFC.
TNSL - Ran out of Pennies today sorry!

It had been raining and the warning that this shouldn't attempted if it was raining was enough to get us out of the house and go searching. There was a lot of water running through the creek but it didn't stop the kids playing in the storm drain. Found very quickly which was good because it was getting dark. Thanks for the cache "Team Hamam".
And I missed that last time?
Found it in 30 seconds, must have been because it was dark and the torch reflects well of these types of containers.

No yabbies this evening. It would be an evil cache to do if the creek was running tall and fast.
The creek was bone dry, I'll be back when flowing again and catch some yabbies
Thanks Team Hamam

Was out with daughter who is learning o drive, so I get chauffeured to my caches.
Couldn't spend long as she was on her way to work.
Kids in one of the houses nearby were swimming on a very cool morning.

Now the closest cache to home and a fitting point to start our Easter holiday trip to southwest Victoria. The remaining bugs and coins will be joining us although I suspect a few will leave us along the way

Went and grabed this one after dinner when I noticed that no one had logged a find, so with the FTF in mind and that everybody in the south must be away for the weekend I proceded with a smile.
After having to flick to the second page in the log book I finally got to put my stamp in as about 5th visitor.

I spent some time making my way up the Yabby ecosystem from the V street end due to a removal truck just pulling out of the nearest approach. A quick Uee had me close enough to GZ for the eco walk. Yabbys will be no problem at the moment as the creek is as dry as some of those Catholics . [blue]A nice surprise to find the log virginal [/blue] though it was lucky timing and less than 15 minutes up the road from Astro headquarters for the [red]FTF dash!![/red]. A few local dogs announced my arrival but the find was lightning fast and the coords spot on for seekers with Magellans .
Clear skies and our thanx to TeamHamam – especially as this is your first cache. Well done on all counts!! [^][^][^]
I don't normally go for the FTF race, but with the wife and kids away for the weekend I had the house to myself so I thought why not?? More fun than housework!
I arrived at said creek with no suspicious persons in sight, so I thought I might be in luck. GZ had me standing in the middle of the creek, so I started to widen my search then noticed gjdjb coming down the path towards me. Eagle eyed gjdjb Jr. spotted the cache first, and I won't repeat what gjdjb Snr. said when he opened the log only to find Astro's name already there!
Thanks for the hunt, and a pleasure to meet the gjdjb family!

After saw new cache approx 7 kms away so hopefully FTF but when I arrived there and oh dear Team Astro - FTF instead of me... even not silver or bronze Excellent hide spot. SL. Thanks Team Hamam for organising the cache and hunt.
Arrived at gz less than an hour after publishing to find intheweeds also out and about. Cache was quickly located by geoson James, only to find that Astro had been trespassing in the southern suburbs! Thanks Team Hamam.
