In and around the area exploring. Some great views and nice place to take a break here. Found after explanding the search a bit. Thanks FlyingPigSquadron for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Caching our way home from Toora. We stopped here for a short rest on the way through.Thank you to FlyingPigSquadron for the cache.
Took EveTheStaffy for a walk. Entered from above. I got +Wife to bring the GeoPrado down to the lowered level. After stamping the cache. Eve and I headed out to the car.I needed to be careful that she didn't notice the river. She loves playing in the water.
Found this cache on our East Coast Trip Day 2 in company of Bazzars. A cache on a cold wet windy day on the way out of Foster. Thanks from D B-A
Quick easy find, i had come down this way to camp at the site but unfortunitly they have closed it to campers
So now im not sure where to set camp but i suppose ill sit and enjoy the river for a little longer and decide my next course of action

A nice quick find. A shame the camping spot is now closed off.
Out and about today with Rebel Acts on a loop that took us out through South Gippsland and down to the coast before returning home via Yarram.
We traveled through some undulating farmland with some great views before hitting the coast with some walks along the beach.
Some roads we had never traveled before and others not for quite some time.
There were a variety of hides and cache sizes, it being a tough and long day with a number of DNFs before getting home well after tea time.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache FlyingPigSquadron.

We decided to go for a day trip drive to Port Welshpool/Port Albert with the kidlets from home in Melb.
It's been a while since we have done much caching so we thought we would do a few today to help break up the long drive.
This was our first for the day.
A lovely little spot. With the heavy rain we have had of late the ground was a little damp, and I ended up slipping and landing heavily on my posterior - lucky I have a reasonable amount of padding. The rest of plowfive that had stayed in the car thought it was very very funny..
Thanks for the cache FlyingPigSquadron.

A quick find as we headed back to camp.
Arriving at gz I had deja vu sure I had already found this cache. I then realized I had been there with a fellow cacher years ago when I was just a muggle. Great to see cache still in play and I can now find it as a cacher.
Thanks FlyingPigSquadron

Very nice spot! Love these caches when you’d otherwise just drive straight by. Pity they don’t allow camping. Tftc
Quick walk and find with tassie expat while exploring this great area. Nice peaceful spot. Log is in good condition. Tftc
Found by frmen1 where I'd previously looked from another direction. Good condition. Mozzies made their presence known. Left a TB. TFTC
TFTC. A nice quick find on crutches but I was careful. Staying here for 2 nights to go to Wilson’s Prom. Tomorrow. Supposed to be going to Tassie today but instead will explore your beautiful state. I’m from the Hunter Valley
Tijden rit van Phillip Island via Wilsons Promotory naar Thredbo deze cache gezocht en gevonden.
TFTC and greetings from Belgium.

Keeping the streak alive. A quick find and walk along the river. They are fixing up the bends on the highway. South Gippy roads don’t seem to last. TFTC
Cords way off but you didn’t need them as the trampled area clear to see obvious spot
This was a very nice place for a stop on the way from Wilsons Prom to Lakes Entrance. It took me a short walk and a while to find but at the end everything was fine. TFTC!
Was concerned about this one as alot of trees have been cut down last week, but fortunately this one survived, @1029, tftc
Out for a spot if caching with the two youngest geokids. The gps was jumping all around but when we stopped and just surveyed the scene the choice seemed pretty clear.
On the way home from a walk in the Prom we stopped to pick up some caches on the South Gippsland Highway. We made use of the amenities here before heading off to find the cache. soon had the cache but there was no writing implement in it so make sure you bring your own when searching for this one. TFTC
Found a while ago signed the log but forgot to log it here. Thanks for the cache.

Hubby got sprung here by two young girls who though that he was having a personal stop and then realised that was not the case so asked what he was doing, when he told them one knew about caching and had done it with friends and thought that it was great. SL TFTC
Took D's muggle mum out for a hunt, found this cool little cache at a place we didn't know was a camping spot. TFTC

30/09/2018 - 11.44am - Find No. 969 - 2nd of 3 finds - with Non-geo-son & non-geo-grand daughters.
NGS decided it was a good day to take the girls for a trip to Port Albert after he'd visited there for work earlier in the week to do some new areas for his Pokemon/Ingress bits while I did some finding.
The weather was cloudy with a bit of a breeze that was a bit chillier off the water while we were at Port Albert. No rain though - so all good for us.
We'd managed to find a little strip of beach at Port Albert so that pleased the girls. We did lots of wandering & looking, the girls were very taken with the white stones in the plant pots outside the restaurant entrance .... I think they all stayed in the pot, with none wandering into pockets. The biggest girls nodded off a fair bit earlier than the smaller one on our trip home but they were both still awake for our last 'hunting/finding' for the day.
Our second stop had us had us at information boards that attracted bigger nggd attention & then littler one too. There were also Pokemon/Ingress opportunities as well as some more exploring & of course the chance to find a cache ... wins for everyone again! While NGS & girls did their thing I wandered off to do my finding bit & was pleasantly surprised to find a vehicles & tents nearby parking were unattended or occupants not visible & this again allowed hunting without fear of being seen. Cache was spotted, retrieved, log signed, sealed, photographed & admired by nggd's from closer or further away before being returned as found. A bit more of the 'When are we going to get to the beach?' 'The sooner you get into the car the sooner we'll be at the beach!' Thanks for the hunt Sorry for the late log.

Love this place. My husband found this on the ground as tv0804, sv0511and I searched according to the hint. Replaced it according to coordinates and hint. Thank you.
Day 12 of our caravan trip going South from Queensland. Explored Phillip Island and then in Wilsons Prom. First day spoiled us with sunshine, second day was stormy and partly too wet for walks.
Now heading home.

We were surprised how many people were camping here and of course there were a couple directly in full view of the tree the cache was hidden in. I just braved it and did my business there hidden by the huge, magnificent, bedraggled trunk. Thanks for bringing us to this spot we usually don’t stop at because it’s barely an hour drive from home.
Over from nz travelling from Sydney to Melbourne grabbing a few along the way with HKBrom94 and crew.
Parked up for the night 30m from gz but phone then led me a merry dance until I finally found spotted IG on may second sweep tftc

Stayed overnight, found this during our morning walk.
Such a nice place to stay.
Such a nice place to stay.
We had decided to spend the night at this lovely rest spot and were one of quite a few vehicles staying for the night. In the morning it was a good start for the day to be able to find a cache in the area and even with so many other campers around it was no problem. Many thanks to FlyingPigSquadron for placing this cache and giving us another smiley on our caching map.
Found with the geowife and Davidman after visiting friends in south Gippsland for the weekend.
Pretty camping area. Cuppa break. We took the low road not the high road.
Eeny meeny miney mo.....
My GPS bounced around a little at first but after taking a moment I used my caching spidy senses and log was signed in no time. I stayed here on my way to the south of Wilson's Prom.

Heading home after a weeks holiday in the High Country and what may be our last day after leaving Dargo earlier. We stopped and collected some caches along the road as we head through the area.
A nice easy find here, so thanks FlyingPigSquadron for the placement.

Took a little longer than it should have as GPS on phone was off. But soon had cache in hand. Lovely little spot! Tftc
This was beautiful, sunny morning. I strolled over to ground zero and searched for a short time and found the container. The coords are right on the mark.
The cache is in good condition and the log paper is nice and dry. We took nothing, left nothing, and signed the log paper.
I carefully replaced the cache right back where we found it. Then, I headed towards the next cache - direction Sydney.....
*thanks to FlyingPigSquadron for your cache*
