Today I headed north for a day of caching around Eudunda. It was a perla of a day for caching perfect temperature, blue skies and it was good to be alive.
Found around 50 caches for the day. Saw loads of sleepy lizards tying to cross the roads.
Lovely area will be back soon for more. So many caches to find so little time.

Found during a day out caching in the Kapunda and wider area with Freddo and Team Waldron. We signed our names in full or abbreviated to F.F.TW in caches that none of us had previously found, and in full when one or the other (various combinations) had already claimed on a prior visit. A total of around 40 finds for each of us today, plus 5 for the local Lab cache to clear up a nice area on the map. Thanks for the cache Everlasting and MatMob!
A quick find passing through to eudunda. Thank you for the placement of this cache Everlasting - Maintence by MatMob find number 7422 at 4 March 2021 1:02 pm
No much left of the ruin here and although the view is good wouldn’t be able to live here! Cache was easily found
Cache and contents are all good
After an early morning CITO on Anstey Hill, I met up with JJ52 to go caching for the day. With not much of a plan other than to cache around Eudunda for the day. We went from cache to cache finding 49 caches for the day and ending up in Kapunda after a big loop. A lot of middle of no where/back roads with 2 brown snakes spotted on our journey.
Thanks for the cache

I did not make it to the early morning CITO but a spur of the moment decision had me meeting up with gridge98 at Mawson Lakes to head up to Eudunda to find some out of the way caches that we both had not found. I left home at 7:30am and returned at 8:30pm after a big day with 49 finds. We did a big loop finishing in Kapunda and I think this was a record for me with the number of multis found in a day.
We saw lots of ruins as we travelled around all these back roads. Cache was quickly found.
Thanks for the cache Everlasting.

TFTC nice find quick drive by out and about with geo wife LynSteNet tall grass is a problem but look down until you locate cache and be wary of snakes

This cache took a few moments to locate due to the tall wild oats & the fact snakes could be out on this 30degree day but thanks to hubby he took the chance & was rewarded with a cache.
We have placed this cache in a new plastic bag then returned it back to its hiding spot.

Spotted the room easily enough and the cache soon followed, but it is a bit of a soggy mess now.
Another girl's day out.
The weather was lovely, good company.
Easily spotted the room with a view.
Cache container quickly found. TFTC

New log. Placed in bag. Has been underwater. Lovely stop. Beautiful cattle across the road.
Another back road "near" work with a view and a cache.
Might need the reno rescue or house rules team to come by...
Doesn't get many visitors. 5 months!

OMG!! we had attempted this one twice before, and looked at it and didn't see it...Cache blindness and overthinking the hide....Nearly did the same this time, only found as we had a Girls look AGAIN...TFTC
TFTC. SL. It would be nice to see some bigger caches out here but we enjoyed the scenery and the view. Thanks for bringing us on this little trek off the beaten track! out and about with the.bakers.
And the girls are off! Myself and my bestie Sharyn (family4p) are off on a girls weekend away to the Clare Valley for some geocaching, no husbands and no kids!! Woo Hoo!!
What..... I came all the way out here for this??
Really!
Nah, just jokes, any cache is a good cache and the view is amazing!!
Log was signed and cache was replaced!!

Well...it's a room with a view, great air conditioning and a view of the stars at night time. All very good.
Thanks for another one Everlasting.
Thanks for another one Everlasting.
With work bringing us to Eudunda we decided to clean up some of the caches off the beaten track and enjoy some of the countryside, a renovators dream, open planning and plenty of fresh air, geowife loves these places so engine off while the photos get taken lol. TFTC
We're pretty sure that this was missing, even though there is logs online.I was here with my Bestie a couple of times, so unless it has serious cache creep or over the fence in those rocks (sandshoe footprints in the mud) then it is no-where where it should be at gz. So we replaced it with a keyholder covered by two rocks within a metre of where the gps wanted us to be. Snappo.

Had a good look around for this one, but today it eluded us..Next time maybe..
Found by Tagalog geo Nana - was very proud of herself loving all the ruins out this way. Tnlnsl TFTC
A mate with me,said "there not very challenging" but the roads made up for it later in the day when we took the bikes bush bashing,I liked the window of opportunity, tftc
Out with CPWanderer and Aussie M&M for a days caching to forget about work and make it to 900. Nice hide. Looks more like a view without a room to me! Thanks Everlasting.
Spring is sprung, the grass is ris: I wonder where the caches is?
Out with firesafe and honeysucker on a lovely spring day for a day's adventure while we searched for caches
They found some, I found some and I lost track of how many times we managed to locus cache
Nice view and a nice little hide that was almost missed!

For the perfect first day of spring, headed out for a day/night of caching in the Barossa Valley and beyond with honeysucker and locus cache. A great day out and some good numbers for the day/night.
Could just see the view on dusk. TFTC.

Nope, this one defeated me and 'The Comrades'. Believe me, felt like a geo-goose at not nabbing this one as I am sure I was 'looking at the cache'. To be fair, 3 geo-adults a geo-kid searched. Though I was still 'bleary' from attempting to photograph star trails until 5:00am that morning, so my eyesight was even worse than normal. Thankfully, cameras have 'infinity' focusing settings but that's another tale not the least related to this baffling cache. Hopefully, I will be shown up by the next cacher who I am sure will note this one as an 'easy find'. Sigh ...
Found the old cammo and thought it had been muggled but after a bit more of a search found the new hide, great location TFTC
Well we sort of found it. We found what it was meant to be connected to but did not find the container. We widened the search but no such luck. Needs replacing but the views all around not just through the window were fantastic.
Found this 1 exposed and vulnerable, placed back as close to origin as possible.
An easy find, as the camo has come of the lid. We had a feeling that we were on a winner at the previous one, but could not find the actual container. At least this one got our name down. TFTC
We found this on the way to a huge day of caching in the mid north with Team Waldron.
The place certainly had a view! And nothing much else.

Loved the camo for this one. SL TFTC, great spot, camera came out for the room and its view.
Log a little damp, but not drastically, so I didn’t replace it. With the yellow of the Canola and that bit of wall, it was a real “Calendar Scene”! Cache #752.
Nice day to be out for a country drive, better than sitting at home, especially if this was your house.!!
No swaps.

Continuing on from Long hill we came here. We've heard of one roomed houses before but this is the only one walled room that we have seen. We loved the camo on this one

Found on my second day caching in this part of Australia. My thanks to Everlasting for the cache. This one sure has a view - or two - or three!
It would be fascinating to take a step back in time and see what it was like when all of these ruins where actually newly constructed houses.
