Found It!
A quick find here but extracting the cache from the tree took a bit longer, it had gotten well jammed in there. With the help of some multigrips, I finally got it out!

So, a very long time ago I had a drum net in near here. I shared it with an uncle and took turns to check on it.
We got very familiar with Cottrell’s hill which was much less fancy a track than it is now.
The net never produced much but it’s always nice to head down here around dusk.
All caches today found in great condition.

Out this morning to grab a few caches out of the way and decided to tackle these 3 out along the river. Had a nice straight forward drive to the gz and just made my way around the dirt tracks, nice and dry this time of the year but would probably leave them if there has been plenty of rain. This one was a nice quick park and grab while making my way around the area. Thanks doheng for the hide and for showing me this awsome spot.
Found on a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Team Waldron, Brisal5 and FeatherWaite. Our main targets were the Paddle Steamer and Turtle geoart series' but we also took the opportunity to seek out a few other caches along the way.
We were fortunate with the weather. After a burst of very hot days, we timed our trip nicely to coincide with the milder conditions before the next hot spell. That helped to make both the caching and the camping along the Murray River and in the Murray-Sunset National Park very pleasant.
We ended up finding all the caches that we had targeted. Most were in good order. Some of the puzzles were quite challenging and there were some very novel and entertaining multi's. Some certainly took a bit of finding and there were many very clever and/or tricky caches and containers that were a credit to the cache owners’ ingenuity.
It would have been good to have had another day or two to complete the remaining caches in the area, but I’m sure we’ll be back.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides.

Over from SA for 4 days of caching with Egregory1, Featherwaite and Brisal5.
We came primarily to do the Paddlesteamer series but picked up orthers as we drove around.
Apologies for the generis logs.

Thanks to all cache owners whose caches we found.

***Generic Log unless something special above this line.***
I have seen a T shirt with Sleep Eat Cache Repeat [^] Well a four day trip to Mildura with caching friends Team Waldron, E.gregory and FeatherWaite certainly fit that bill. Logs were signed with initials only for the teams - BEFW
Up at daybreak, quick breakfast and cache all day stopping only to have a snack whilst out on the trails, rush to set up camp near dusk for a meal, then perhaps some night caching, early night and REPEAT!
Strategic camping at Kings Billabong, Rocket lake and The Common meant we were close by the Geoart and target night caches. Two previous trips in 2013 and 2016 by me and some by E.gregory meant we visited some (well quite a few actually) previous finds but that made it quick for the people that hadn't found them previously.
I can't thank the CO's of these caches enough as some were really very inventive. Even having solved most puzzles before we came we were confronted with field puzzles and gadgets that were just mind boggling. [:X][:X][:X]
***Thanks doheng for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Found during a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Brisal5, e.gregory1 and Team Waldron with the main aim to complete the Paddle Steamer and Turtle GeoArt series but also to find other caches along the way. We camped out on the banks of the Murray River near Mildura on the first night, at Rocket Lake campground in the Murray-Sunset National Park on the second night, then back to the banks of the Murray River near Merbein on the last night. We signed the logs as B.E.F.W. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the cache!
Replaced container. Was badly deteriorated. Left book out to dry. Going back later to put back when dry
Great find. The container has badly perished and is in desperate need of replacing. Lots of hidey holes around so took us many attempts but finally mum found it at eye height. SL and replaced. TFTC
Found it and lost the draft. Probably didn't save it.

A lovely day to be out and about
I was headed for Mildura today for some shopping
I never made it [:o]
After leaving Iraak, I ended up at Karadoc, and the rest is history
Shopping could wait another day !!
From Karadoc, and its vast collection of stainless steel tanks and big sheds surrounded by vineyards,
I headed onto the floodplains along the 'river run'
First stop was number five !!
A short stroll from the geomobile and there was the cache
Oh good !!
An easy one to start with [^]

Yesterday (Sunday) this part of the river was very busy – today on our return jurney to Mildura it was a lot more quiet – yesterday there was fisherman at ramp so was unable to attempt – I parked the house boat on the other side & kayaked to this side. Did the 300 metre walk to GZ area. Took a little time to find as my old GPS was jumping around - TFTC / TFTH // SL
A bit of 4x4 driving to get from river run 4 to this one... Phone nearly flat...but a fairly fast find. Thanks Doheng for the River Run series.
On an expedition to pick up the caches along the Murray River south of Red Cliffs LNTN TFTC
It's a long way along the river from Kings Billabong Boat ramp. I used most of a tank of fuel pushing upstream against the flood waters. The Gps went flat when I was about 50 metres away. I took the batteries out, warmed them up a bit and got a little closer. It was still a fairly long hunt. Somebody has taken to the nearby area with a chainsaw very recently.
A cold morning but another fine day in Mildura - perfect for our caching activities as we did not need rain today with the majority of our travelling being on dirt tracks. We happily meandered around the river edge with tracks going in several directions. Lovely old trees and bird life while the river looked plentiful. An enjoyable day of caching with many different style of hides to keep us challenged and entertained. Searched a while before we spotted the cache.
Thanks to doheng.
Thanks to doheng.
Found intact with ibon8. Went on to try other river runs but geomobile found the going tough.
TFTC Doheng easy find. Wanted to do more but it was hair raising so got to do it by boat.
wanted to find one more on april fools day , running out of light fast and we found it tftc
Easy drive to this cache, my first of the River Run series (done in reverse). Nice quick find. Thanks for showing me the area, and for the cache.
Having found #4 we took off with Thetaz and Geoff&Margo across country to the next in the sequence arriving at 12:35pm where Alan was able to put his hand on it. TNLN TFTC

Quite a walk from the boat and probably not a good idea to go cross-country. After a bit of head-scratching Mr Thetaz had it in hand. We managed to follow some roads on the way back and this was a bit easier. TFTC
A quick find this time. Found with Kev The Sidekick. Took soldier and left giraffe.
Not too bad for this track but still some muddy and slippery driving...Ms Bushies2 found it easily...phew we made it to the series and found all caches Thanks doheng.
Enjoyed the series very much. A bit worried about getting lost but we made it out the other side. J really enjoyed the off road driving. Took the geocoin & left a soldier. TFTC
Out checking on the caches around town. Doing some maintenance and dropping some trackables in and out.
This one was found by the little geo junior
This was such a great day, weather was great we seemed to have got them done faster than I thought, we must be getting better at this
We just love geo caching, and its great fun having friends to do day picnics with. Thanks for a fun day Stewbies xx.
And thanks Doheng what a great river run!

Number 5 in a great series of great hides, sad to be finished so soon, all over by just after lunch. A nice way to end the run with our little 5yo jnr cacher claiming this one ! What a lovely way to spend the day. Great friends, great hides, great teamwork. THANX Doheng.

1374 With all the recent rains this was a fun series to travel as (I'm sure) half the Murray was over the tracks - with interesting caches along the way - i.e. not all thrown at the base of a tree. Easy find. TFTC doheng
Lady Avago ( she hates the mob bit) was quick to claim this one. Thanks Doheng for an interesting series with excellent hides and a pleasant drive, We wondered at times if the Cruiser would fit between some of the trees on the track but it survived with it's reputation in tact. The track is pretty much all dried out now.
We are on our way to the Wagga Mega Cache Event from Wollongong via White Cliffs. We were intending on following the Darling River but because of the rain, the roads were in a mess, so this proved very difficult. When we saw the "River Run" Series we just had to do it. What a great exprience. Great caches along the way and so many photos to take. TFTC

Find #19 for the day. We really enjoyed driving the sandy tracks along the floodplains here. Something we probably wouldn't have done if we weren't geocaching, Found the cache easily enough and no swaps were made. Thanks!

Day 1 for GC1TJ3B - Let's Raid the Food Bowl with travels and caching through the Murray Sunset National Park, Hattah Kulkyne National Park and Mildura environs.
The weather was a little better today but there were still some very heavy rain showers at times.
The first of 3 River runs with great views of the river, fun 4WD tracks (who said it was a no through road) and fun people to find the caches. TFTC.

As MV said we encountered a cute little Echidna not far from this cache. We jumped out of the car to snap a photo thinking it would be shy and try to run off. However, no sooner had I got the camera set up it was lathering itself in Quill-Shine(TM) and strutting around, Zoolander style. We wanted to leave but the little fella wanted to check the proofs before I published them on the cache page, so we had to sift through all the photos with its manager to make sure there was nothing inappropriate shown. I've attached a couple to the log for you to see.
Gee whiz, Australian wildlife can be so demanding!
Thanks for the cache and showing us this great little spot on the river,

Found in the company of the "doheng convoy" on a relatively fine Friday arvo in Mildura.
Another good part of the Murray to visit. There is a lot more water in your part of the river than what is at Echuca, must be a dam somewhere here!

Found at 1520. This was the first in the River Run series we completed on the way to Mildura for the weekend. The tracks to this one weren't too bad, even though there were some sloshy parts, but as I found out this weekend, there's not too many places Rubik's commodore won't go. We were just arriving to GZ when we spotted quite possibly, the friendliest echidna in Victoria wandering across the track. We jumped out to snap a few photos before it buried itself, but we needed have worried, because as we drew nearer, it pretty much followed us wherever we went. It was amazing. After we got a few happy snaps, we continued on our way, and found the cache shortly after.
Some great tracks along the Murray. Thanks for showing us.

A cache hunt convoy of vehicles led by pprass, guided by doheng and including Squalid, Ian-and-penny, maccamob, Romax, oenze and swaggies. Every one seemed to be a bit cached out and tired but still the hunt continues. Another peaceful spot on the river that we would not have visited but for Geocaching.

Find # 3036 and 14th of the day at 4:00 pm. Accompanied by Iain from the Swaggies and David and Mary (Maccamob) who were kind enough to take us on board for the day during the "Let's raid the food bowl" event in Midura. Found in a large group while traveling in a convoy of 4X4 vehicles. We found the cache coords to be out by a whoooooole 4 meters -- shame on you Doheng , left my mark in the log, Thanx Doheng for the guided tour and the cache....
Found in the presence of pprass, Ian-and-penny, maccamob, Phetlern, oenze and swaggies under the watchful eyes of doheng. This is a very nice area to cache in. TNLN Thanks for the cache.
Found by Mary & David at 1600. The convoy shows no sign of slowing down. Water views and wonderful trees on the other bank. Our thanks to Doheng as always.
