MIA! As this WAS hidden in plain sight. I think this GC has been muggled! Having found it in Dec, I have not seen it since.
I won't be in Darwin until June, so it's time to free up the area for a local.
Thanks to the 129 cachers who found it.

Looked for a good 10 minutes, with the odd wait for a muggle to pass.. Could find it. TFTC anyway..
Everyone says it's an easy find, but not for me (and my assistant geocacher in the form of a geocolleague)

This was found on a great geocaching tour together with Landlockedsailors
We had made a list of caches that we wanted to find and then we found some extra as we came along. It was a really good day with some good finds!
This was one of the not planned ones, but a good one. I love shopping in these places and often due back home in Denmark. A very quick find [^]
Thanks a lot for the cache

#26. Found it on 2nd try. Not so many employee muggles this time, just Christmas shoppers rushing in and out!
TFTC. Very clever hide. I wonder how many people have walked past it and wondered why it's there? You have to laugh at the ingenuity of cachers!
Note - log is very full and as I grabbed this one on a late night airport pick up I wasn't able to do the honours.
Cheers.

Quick easy find as have seen one of these before. Still makes me smile!

Would have to be our all time favorite shop! Seen plenty of this type of cache before. Nice and easy whilst on our drive to the Mindil Markets.

Spending time in Darwin to do some caching, relaxing and maybe some fishing.
We went past this in daylight hours, don't bother - muggle city.
Went back after dark, and found it after a short search.
Thanks for the cache, WanderingAus.

Nice quick find even at night. As it was pretty late I could park up right at the GZ which gave me a bit of cover.

After a busy morning of caching we have decided to have an afternoon off. Bill dropped me off at the shopping centre while he headed towards the big red hammer, Jayco & some other big boys toy shops.
Thanks Wandering Aus

Well weren't this the easy cache find on my big red pushbike today
I rode up to GZ, checked out the DIY houses on display, and soon found a cache nearby
If you don't find this cache, then the nearby facility will give you 10 percent off your next cache find

Hit the bikes again, and travelled around Nightcliff, and a little way south with Bettyboo3747.
Never quite understood the attraction of hiding caches at the Big Red Hammer. I have certainly done a few.
This was a nice quick find, which was just as well, as it was a busy place today.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 3515. Day 2 of cycling around Darwin with Robmc and trying to collect caches along the way. Altogether not a hugely successful day - gathering 20 Founds and getting 6 DNF's.
Caches at these places are for me, on a par with playground caches - I really dislike them. We arrived at GZ to a relatively quiet carpark and as we have seen quite a few of these hides success was soon ours.

Nice quick find. If I hadn't of seen one like this before I probably would of missed it. TFTC
Easy find but a brilliant hide!! It particularly appealed to my husband so it gets a favorite point!!! TFTC
Nice quick find on a Saturday morning .... was able to drive right up to it. TFTC
I have done a handful of WanAus's caches on this trip and this was the last of them. I make it my 12th of yours which is pretty good given that I have barely cached in WA, and where they all are.
Have commented often as we drive past here almost daily that there is a cache over there, but never actually stopping to grab it. Finally did it today, but not while driving by. Rode to here on the electric bikes. The cache GZ looked like it could have helped us recharge but not needed so soon on our trip.

Found this one very quick on our last day at Darwin.

Cache in good condition and a fresh logsheet. The big green building was closed as it was late so had the carpark to myself. Seen quite a few of these types of hides - always nice. Thanks WanderingAus.
My thanks to corunnaroad for replacing the lost log.
The cache is now good to go again.

Ahhh, my second home. I always seem to find these places when travel, but maybe that's because they often have caches? I do love these plain site hides, and this one is surprisingly effective, however, no log today, so I have a photo as proof instead if required.
Thanks wanaus, TNLN

Up here for a 25 year school reunion. Couldn't resist grabbing a couple of caches as well! I parked right at GZ and then proceeded to scrounge around looking for the cache. It wasn't till I approached it from another angle that I saw it - and felt real stoopid cause I have seen quite a few of these hides before!! Awesome TFTC.
WanderingAus wandered by on day 48 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, after dropping the WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) at Nightcliff Sports Club for a couple of hours of line dancing.
Having seen the logs by by Henry.Morgan on 26/02/2011 "... Needs a little maintenance after all the rain" and Gunnie69 on 17/04/2011 "... Log is a little damp after your recent rains. Hopefully it will hold out til it's full" I decided to replace the log.
The bag has a couple of holes in it, so I put the new log in a new ziplock bag and put that inside the original bag.
With luck it should last through the next wet season, if not I'll probably be back next year to replace it again.
Happy caching,
Keith (the Wandering part of WanderingAus)

Found 23:20, our last find for the weekend before heading for the airport, and the long flight home [xx(]
TNLN, CSI=2, thanks WanderingAus.

Marco is in Darwin for work, so I flew up for the long weekend so we could find some Darwin caches. We searched for this one after finding the nearby 'Open seven Days A Week' cache. I had a look for it while Marco went and got the car to move it closer to GZ. I must have had a girl look because Marco found it on his first look! TNLNSL TFTC
Nice easy find - not the first time we've visited a Bunnings car park this trip Cheers Gav [8759]
A nice quick find - One of many of these WanAus caches done on our Aussie caching adventure.
Needed a couple of things from the green place so why not do the caches. Straight-forward find but clever hide. TFTC.
Quick find after parking a metre away. I like these well camoed hides.
Thanks for the clever name, and for the cache WanAus

Find number 6 for the day, and find number 214 on the twentyth day of our month long trip to Warwick, Lightning Ridge, Boulia, Plenty Highway, Alice Springs, Ayres Rock, Darwin, and home. Found at 1255hrs Qld time.
These establishments must breed these particular kinds on caches. There is an exact same type of cache, in exactly the same kind of position, at the branch in Gladstone Qld. Easy find.
Cheers

If I had spotted it as I drove past, I could have grabbed it without jumping out the car... [;O] These caches fit in very well. Log is a little damp after your recent rains. Hopefully it will hold out til it's full... [^]
Cheers WanderingAus.

The geo-gods are smiling on us today if we got any closer, I wouldn't have had to get out of the car! We both saw it as we pulled up - can be very hard if you don't know what you're looking fore - easy if you do! I like these hides - makes caching fun!

10:20 (found with ywurry): 10 of 32. Both ywurry and I spied the little sucker as we pulled up into the car park. We soon had cache in hand, but had more of a challenge returning it. I had to walk to the doors of the Big Red Hammer to divert attention from a local muggle tying down his load. TFTC!
