We camped here overnight so before sunrise I got up and went for a walk. This was the first one for the morning and it didn't take too long to locate.

We are still wandering around northern Australia from one side to the other after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter. We are currently camped at Timber Creek trying to find all the caches in this area. It was not to be as I had 2 DNFs!
This was #1 find and a good quick one it was. Sort of made up for the previous DNF. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find. Stamped log.

After having a very pleasant day's caching in Katherine it was time to head west and pick up some caches between here and Timber Creek.
This was our last cache for the day and the cache page didn't lead us astray. This would be a very nice spot to camp that was proved by the number of people already camping here. fortunately the area around gz was out of the way of prying eyes and we were able to make a nice easy find and our name has been added to the log. We took some photo's before we left of the river in the late afternoon sunlight and then headed off back to our camp.
Thanks for the cache Hefalumps and for bringing us here.

Well it's not black anymore! Quick find on a fine day. Heading down Buchanan Hwy today. TFTC.
Today we did some geocaching in the morning after our overnight stay in timber creek. We liked the scenic landscape around here.
Quick find here. We wanted to stay here for the night but sadly it was already crowded when arrived yesterday evening so we went to the nice caravan park in town.

On our trip from Perth to Darwin we found this Cache. Greeting from Germany, Saxony, Leipzig Petra und Kurt (kupesp)
Good fishing here going by the number of trailers about.
Cache in need of some severe mtce, it is exposed and the line broken.
Thanks for bringing us here.
While travelling from Perth to Darwin, we took the chance to search for some caches here and there - here we spend the night at the campgournd and took the opportunity to find this cache. Thanks for bringing us here and greetings from Germany!
Quick find after a loop around the camping area. It's only mid-morning so too early to stop, though it did look rather pleasant. Now we've ended up camping at Victoria River RH which is just OK campsite wise - although counter meals are on offer here! TFTC.
Easy find. There is a sad, starved dog, ribs showing, sunken flesh, hanging around this camping ground. It appears to have been dumped. I spoke with a local and apparently it has been there since October and it won't let anyone near it. So, if any local reads this and knows who to contact about this, please do.

Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! Our journey started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island, before heading to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. The second leg of our journey was a fabulous 9 days in Tasmania. Having then returned to Melbourne we set off on the third leg of our journey, which was to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. We then spent a few days in Sydney with geocaching friends efore flying on to the Gold Coast for the fourth leg of our travels, that included visits to Lamington National Park, Noosa and an overnight trip out to Fraser Island. We then flew from Brisbane to Cairns, where we spent a couple of nights before heading out to the birding hotspots of Yungaburra and Daintree. Following on from a visit to Cape Tribulation we turned to Port Douglas. After a day out on the Great Barrier Reef we returned to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs and the fifth leg of our travels, which was a wonderful week driving the circuit to and from Ayers Rock in our 4x4 camper. On returning to Alice Springs we then flew on to Darwin, where we picked up another 4x4 camper. We are currently making our way towards Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
This was a nice quick find at Ground Zero. Thanks so much for the cache.

Found on a very hot day while staying in Timber Creek
for 10 days. This is a great place to camp with lots of
shade and Boab Trees. The boat ramp is bonus if you
have a boat and enjoy fishing. Great for locals as well.
Nice sneaky hide.

Lovely campsite here, large enough for a number of vans etc. it was already quite full and it was only early yet
it didn't take long for us to find this clever hide. We were fascinated by the tree on the other side of the hwy, who knows what its history is and why it seem that is possible to climb on it. Thanks to Hefalumps for this cache.

... on our journey through the northwest part of australia from darwin to perth we could find some outback-caches as well as some city-
boxes. during our 7.191km trip unfortunately many caches with simple D/T-assessment could not be found ...
most owners seem to be peppermint friends, because the little tin cans are so widespread as the film containers are with us (in Germany).
to all the owners a friendly tftc accompied by the plea to understand this generalised log entry as there were so many caches on our trip.
no worries

[Teal]As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache. Dad did most of the hard work here, the detail of our find can be found in the Rats log. Sorry for the duplicate log but it takes nothing away from the find.
Thanks for being part of our great adventure.

Found on Friday night just after dark. Showing a muggle all about caching and this tricky one was a good example of something different after a few magnetic mint tins. Cache in good condition. My geocaching NSW coins visited.
This was another find in Northern Territory while crossing Northern Territory and Western Australia from Darwin to Perth on Gibb River Road through the Kimberlys. During this 8500km journey we've met many nice and friendly people [^], visited countless marvelous places, saw lots of interesting local wildlife (and plants), took some 2500 pictures home and logged some 300 Caches .
Cacheator Mom slowly started to get used to those posts .
Thanks for the cache, we've enjoyed it very much [^].

Nifty little hide however the plastic cap has been destroyed. This has allowed water to get into the cache and wet the log. Ive placed a rock in lieu of the cap so as to protect the log. TFTC.
I think it may have gone missing. Cap is on the ground all busted up and cache nowhere to be found.
We found this one but couldn't get it out as we didn't want to exert too much force and lose it. TFTC
