Came with Stretch for a bit of a laugh just to see how good he was as I had found this previously a month or so ago. Very funny that he couldnt find it and even funnier that I couldnt either. Looks like its gone or maybe moved as it wasnt where it used to be.
Quick stop on the way another nearby cache. Loved the falls however the rubbish took the shine off an otherwise beautiful spot. Left TB that was brought back from Aus holiday, TFTC.
I had no idea this road, river and waterfall existed, so thanks for bringing me this way! Shame about the rubbish nearby, but was otherwise a lovely spot. TFTC!
Thanks for bringing us here! Beautiful waterfall! Driven past many times but never stopped. Looked arond for awhile and then decided to re-read cache description. This was a good idea, as we were in wrong spot. Found cache and signed log. TNLN TFTC!
Found the cache on the last day of our holidays in NZ. We where surpriced of the surounding. Its was realy beautyfull. And almost with tears in our eyes we left NZ. But we had just one cache to go after this one.

Quick and easy find. Driven past this area heaps of time and never realised that there was a waterfall here. Amazing what you find on your doorstep thanks to geocaching. TFTC.
Headed out to the Hunua Falls to pretend it hadn't been raining all weekend and spotted this one on the map while I was driving. Nice and quick, and an awesome river to admire for just a few seconds before the appeal of a dry car took over. TFTC
Evening caching with Kyle891 on the way to stuff our faces with Stampede Burger...Om nom nom... Took a bit of a search as gps didnt want to settle down, but an easy find in the end. Very nice spot. TFTC
Out for an afternoon caching trip with FMZ and our new friend, beat.meier. Quick easy find - what an awesome spot!!! Love the waterfall. TFTC!!!
Out for an afternoon geocaching with funkymunkyzone and 10centcoin who introduced me into geocaching. Loved the view of the waterfall.
#1800 . Out for an afternoon caching with 10centcoin and our friend, beatmeier, introducing him to geocaching. Have driven through here before, but did not know there was this great waterfall here. TFTC!!!
Be careful of broken glass around GZ. I tried to remove as much as I could but I can't believe why people dump rubbish in a place like this.
I was looking for the cache when I was approached by a guy in a high vis jacket and told that I was safe where I was but I couldn't move my car as they were about to fire off some blasts at the nearby quarry. He then left me so I found the cache. Just a few minutes later he returned as I was admiring the waterfalls and told me I could move as as they were having problems setting the explosives off, which wasn't quite what I could hear over his radio as someone was getting the blame for breaking the box and they couldn't find the spare. This wasn't quite your average cache hunting experience!

Only saw remains of the nest. It is a great piece of road, but yes a pitty some other people dont have any respect for the area. TFTC
The waterfall looks nice but it was so wet didn't try to find my way down for a better view. TFTC
The approach is a bit disappointing, what is wrong with people that they need use the side of the road as a rubbish tip?? This site could use some CITO. Once past the junk all is good and the cache was NUT to hard to find.

Short search and cache located. Lots of rubbish near cache and hornets nest within 300mm of cache - use care. SL TFTC
First of a 5-find day today. Nice spot, and the stream was beautiful! Took the small lint brush and left an Irish pin. TFTC!
All credit to Mrs P who looked after Mr P had given it a go and soon had that cache in hand. I like Peanut Butter. t4tc
On a cache run out Whitford/Clevedon area to take a few off the to-do list.
This is a little out of the area but somehow the car seemed to find its way past this cache on the way home..
Nicely hidden.
In: Geocoin.
Cheers for the cache.

This used to be Mrs TTs run turnaround point, and was often unfortunately also the site of rubbish dumping. Not too bad just now thank goodness. Nice little hide! TFTC
Lovely area up this way, nice bit of bush and stream. Made an assumption about the placement as I arrived but that proved wrong so needed to nut this one out with GPSr in hand and checking where it took me.

Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 873. Thanks.
Great day out - thought we'd tackle a couple in the area! TFTC. Silently sighted another cacher along the way ... great fun. TFTC
Another visit today while in the area and an uneventful visit this time and a quick find T4TC.
A very unassuming spot from the road, but a pleasant surprise awaits.

Had to wait in the car while the torrential downpour subsided, otherwise a quick and easy find. GZ a bit trampled and exposed, rehid as best as able. No swimmers, nude or otherwise. TFTC
We are not claiming this as either a find or as a DNF but we simply want to share our experience today as we arrived at GZ.
It was a warm sunny afternoon and we parked close to GZ. Both of us got out of the car and made our way to GZ when a voice from below said what do you want, can I help you. We looked down and saw a nude youth standing in the water. Decided the best action was to retreat as he was very vocal. Back in the car and we were waiting on the traffic to clear and we looked back and he was on the side of the road walking towards us, butt naked . We took off and didn't dare look back again .
We will return as we are keen to find the cache but we may wait until winter when it is too cold for skinny dipping!

Found this one at a point from our past With forest fairies. The greenery is well trodden and the cache was in view took a little care rehiding it. I hope it was enough. TFTC
Took the kids for a walk in the Hunua Ranges and this one was on the way. Nice quick find once a muggle moved away (taking photos of flowers). TFTC
I must admit to thinking this was a place people would dump their stuff. But it is a very pretty spot indeed. Thanks for the stop - M@
Nice & handy to my mates place. He lives about 200 metres up the road.TB visit & drop off.Picked up coin.

Well worth the visit for the nearby falls - just make sure it's not you that falls!
GZ was a bit trampled - tried to resurrect the vegitation as best as I could.

Travelling across Auckland to get an FTF at 6.20am - yes, we are definitely NUTS!
Having looked on Google Earth we made a wrong assumption about where the cache would be, but the GPS led us straight to the cache, when we let it.
A nice little spot for an explore. Thanks for bringing us here, TFTC and thanks for the FTF
Swapped the Jeep for Kiwi TB.

I thought we had enough competition for FTF's here out East. You have to beat the Westies now too.
Nice spot, quick find. Logged at 920am.
Took TB, left GC.
