Got to GZ of the first, or was it the second WP but no corners to look at or under. Looked for tag and nest but no inspiration came. Gave up.
Last day of camping with Vamber at Omana Regional Park. Tents were packed except sun shade so popped out to get a few caches in the nearby Te Puru Park. Started off ok with WP1 but at WP2 we found the container with no log or coordinates. As we'd had a 100% find rate for the whole weekend we couldn't end on a dnf, so used the PAF option. They couldn't give us a definitive location but gave a "its alongside this in one of these". While we went off to grab another cache, Vamber set about searching and had WP2 in their hands by the time we arrived. We decided it would be good to replace the coordinates in WP1 one person ran back across to do that while the other 3 set off for the final. Found almost immediately, so happy with our 100% record for the whole weekend, signed the log as KKKT, thanks for the cache
We were out camping with KirsTim for the long weekend, staying at Omana Regional Park, and thought we would hit some of the nearby caches around the area. Decided to end the long weekend with a walk around Te Puru before heading back home. Quickly figured out what we needed to do at WP1, and gathered the coordinates for WP2. Once we got to WP2, we had no problem finding the container, but upon opening it, we realised it was empty and the coordinates for the next stage were missing. Not wanting to ruin our 100% find rate this weekend, we decided to use the PAF option and call a previous finder. Luckily, they were able to give us a vague description of where they remembered WP3 being hidden, so we were able to take that on board, and yay, after a bit of a methodical search, we managed to find the coordinates for the final!! We used our GPSr to average a waypoint at stage 3, wrote them down and ran back to WP2 to put them into the empty container for future finders. Approached the final GZ, and after a little search around in all the likely spots, we found the container. Very happy to have knocked this one off, for our last find for the weekend. Signed the log as KKKT, respective of each of our first names, in order to save log space. Thanks for the cache!
Here at the park for a weekend Geocaching event. No bike today. Stumped a bit at first way point. But a "Previous Finder" gave a nudge which helped us on the way. Found with rustynz,Hemaludy,urbangypsynz,rebel98 ,darthcacher1 and purply. TFTC
Stage 1 for stage 2 had us stumped for a while, but a glass of wine back home provides the necessary brain fuel to get it (obvious when you realize) so quick trot after dinner (needed to work off the Sunday roast) and got all the stages. TFTC
Little bit tricky, but lucky I was with a group of cachers doing the Omana adventure. They soon had this solved, TFTC
After having problems getting the maths right, soon the other stages fell into place. Loved gz. Found with Harisee.
We were in the park today for the event, and arrived a little late, so while we were waiting for them to return for lunch after completing some caches in the park. This was an unfound cache in the area, so today was the day. We had a bit of trouble with WP2 but were given a bit of a nudge from another cacher, although not a truly accurate one, it helped us find the WP and continue to WP3. From there it was a quick find of the other WP's and then the final. Thanks for taking the effort to put a multi here. Found with darthcacher1 and purply - and others.
I didn't have a bike today, but came with Helen's Team (supernanny) and my 2 geodogs. I relaxed, socialised and trailed at the back of the team and left the maths to the brainboxes [:o)]
Thanks for a great multi
Thanks for a great multi
Walked around the park with various cachers (agazo, harisree), but at the final was rebel98, HeMaLuDy, darthcacher1 and purply
The first waypoint gave us a few problems, but with a big nudge we made it to the final, and the cache was soon found. Thank for the hide!

Out with a big group doing the caches in the reserve. We were initially a little stumped at WP1, then clicked on to what we needed to do, figured out the math and off we went. We had no problems at the next few stages then it was a nice quick find at the final. TFTC
My first trip to Omana and what better reason than for an event. Mojitoma and I couldn't make head nor tail of this to start with but once we cottoned on to what was needed for stage 1 we made our way around the park to GZ. Find number 3 today. TFTC
I was caching here in September on my own , but couldn't make sense of what to do at WP 1 !
So it was definitely on my To Do list with a friendly bunch of keen cachers today !
The brainy ones made short work of the calcs, and we were soon off to the other waypoints and the final !
Thanks Gadget-tron !

Trailing the Omana Adventure group, this was our third effort for the day. The first puzzle was riveting and kakesnz experience won out as she cottoned onto the code. Then we were off for an easy final find. TFTC.
Out with Team Helen for an event and finding all the caches in the park. WP1 gave us a bit of trouble until Merlot58 read further on her phone. I was trying to explain to a group of muggles why approx 8 adults where walking in circles searching high and low. Could have gotten away with saying we were playing Pokemon like they asked, but I was the only one that could attest to that (multitasking at it's best). The remaining WPs didn't give us any grief and we got to the final in short time.
Was with a good size group wandering this park doing this multi. Very excited chatter amongst ourselves today, Pazzabella, her 2 dogs, stevecoxnz, ric1942, merlot58, supernanny, Jag50, AlunB, Aiden29 are all here. Others have yet to arrive to the event and we meet up with them later. Thanks Gadget-tron for the cache!
We teamed up with a group of Westies to find caches in the area - signed as Team H. Got to WP1 and initially struggled to come to grips with what we were meant to do. Finally twigged and realised the info was staring us in the face. Quickly manipulated the data and gradually worked our way around this multi to the final GZ.
A nice wander round collecting all the waypoints. The final did not appear to be a paint tin but still found in the first place we looked. TFTC

Three out of three for the day so far with GERNITA. A great little loop, thanks for the effort with this one.
Picked up this one on our walk around the park with alpenmilch80. Hardest part for today was WP1 and its calculations, but that was a user error (I think we had one wrong number each) but after that it was all pretty straightforward - really nice walk and a nice spot for the final. Nicely done here - TFTC
After finding the close by Dino's evilno9 and I decided to have some more adventures in the area. The adventure on this one was the very bad skills I have with numbers. Oh well we got some more walking in between stage 1 and 2. No issues with Stage 3 or the final. TFTC
I have replaced the original container with one that people can now get into without tearing skin off their fingers. Also added a couple of toy soldiers & a super bouncy ball. A golf ball was all that was left in it, plus the log book, when i found it.
Finally got this one knocked off. I thought the coordinates i found were for the final resting place but the "nest" was where they were for, which explains why I could not find the cache there. Found the coords from the egg & found the cache. TFTC. Good hiding but container is nearly impossible to open as it is so badly damaged. If I find a suitable container I will replace it.

This is a tale and a half. Came out this way in Jan 2017 and grabbed a whole pocket query of caches out this way and this was one that seemed familiar and then realised why. We had found it in 2015 but had never logged it. Glad to get our records sorted out.
Thanks so much for our first multi! We had a blast even being local and knowing the area really well. Took the geocoin and will take it to the States with is. TFTC
After a DNF on this a few weeks back and then a very helpful email fom Agazo we headed back out for this multi. Very basic mistake in solving the waypoint 2 puzzle had had us lost but now we were on the right track. Was a good walk around the whole park to finally find GZ.
We took the holographic cards and left our trade mark Angry Birds. Also dropped off the Golden Rocket Blaster trackable for it to continue its journey.
Thanks Agazo for your assistance we dont need a councellor anymore

I found the first two stages quickly. Stage 3 gave me some trouble, but I examined the area extremely carefully and spotted the eggcellent cache. The final was no trouble, but the container is warped out of shape and cracked at the bottom. Left: Two Heroes Actions Cards, TNSL. TFTC.
Had seen this multi just down the road and decided on a Sunday afternoon to give this ago. Our second Multi!!
We got to WP2 (yay this is easy) and started to work out details for WP3 (i.e. stage 2). 45 minutes (and potentially one divorce) later we gave up and headed home for more research.
Still struggling here and have decided we either have to buy international airline tickets to get to WP3 or we have stuffed it up totally! (personally I am liking the idea of international travel)
If anyone can give us a gentle push in the correct direction or the name of a good councillor we would be grateful

This has been a bit of a working progress with Mr B. We got a bit stuck on W3, but found it yesterday when biking past. Did not have our gps with us or a pen so decided to come back today. Good thing we with live locally. Went to Final location and found the cache straight away. Have not done many multi caches and have enjoyed the challenge. The final cache is a bit munted but still easy to open if you do it from the top. We took a screw driver. Thanks for the find.
Well, after posting a DNF over two years ago I am finally making good on my promise and have returned! Knew exactly what was required at WP1 this time (a much better GPSr since last time) and was soon off to WP2. Quick find here and straight to WP3 were a bit of searched revealed all. The Final took me longer than it should have, but got there in the end. Cheers for the multicache!
This multi-cache has not been found for almost a year! I had a lot of fun doing it. Took me quite a while to find WP4, but made it eventually. The final cache is in bad shape, someone must not have read the description until the end. However, its content is fine. Thanks for the fun hunt. TFTC
No bikes today so enjoyed the walk around Te Puru instead. No problems with any of the WPs or the final as the whole multi fell into place nicely. Thanks goes to neatad for replacing one of the WPs as ive been meaning to do this multi for awhile now! TFTC! Really enjoyed this one!
Finally delighted to have knocked this multi off. Had become stuck at WP4 last year. Had a major search yesterday for the WP and still could not find it. Checked with Neatad who had generously replaced it recently, and so back today for another go. Eventually found it and then on to the final for a super quick find. TFTC.
Have updated WP4; have changed the container; (it is now a small pill container). Have checked all the other Way Points and Final everything is good.
Container that hold co-ords for the final has let in water. The paper has become almost unreadable. Needs to be replaced
#120, Finally found this, it was very tricky and the container that holds the final co-ords has let in water and the paper has become damaged and is barely readable, has to guess three different digits. Found after a couple of detours. This needs some maintenance. Unfortunately I didn't have a spare container with me and the kids were fast asleep in the car. This was a great cache. TFTC. Took two TB's (they have stuck there for almost 2 years LOL)
came back feeling confident about this one but sadly came out with a DNF (again)

Out today to do some walking and caching. Found WP1 but wasn't sure what was going on. Should of read the cache page more carefully. Will be back!
Great walk out in the sun. Well set up multi. TFTC
Out: 3doxies' Traveling 3D Geocoin - New Zealand

Went back to WP2 to check my figures, couldn't find it again?
Tried with the figures I had, and hey presto, WP3 and the final fell into place.

Finally!! This has proved to be a mission for me. I was unable to work out the puzzle for WP3, despite having a couple of trys at it. Finally had a BIG nudge from the cache owner who put me on the right track. Sometimes when you get an idea in your head, even when its wrong, its pretty hard to have a look with fresh eyes. Anyway, problem solved (thanks) and cache found. Thanks.
Revisited after maintenance and on a cloudy day when there were less muggles. Finally got to the hard to open final cache. In key ring out Signal Travel Bug
Back to missing WP/Stage where I left off in November. Easy find and on to the final via another WP.
In - TB Sponge Bob
Out - GeoCoin (Cache Reaper).

Got to WPT3 with the help of another cacher but only found the remains of a nest in tatters. Searched the grounds for clues that may have flown the nest but found nothing.
Had a couple of visits here today - the GPS had a bad setting which would have taken us offshore. Had a guess and then home to sort out the GPS. We resorted to reading the manual (her idea, not mine) and got everything fixed and back to Te Puru after tea. Had a scratch around and in WP2 without any luck so off to have a think about this. Did wonder if a nice man in a truck had taken it to Whitford...
25/11 - Figured out the coords for Stage2/WP3 but no joy yet.

Didnt made it past WP2. I found what I thought was the place according to the hint, but cannot see how the info can be converted into cords for the next WP. Im probably over thinking the puzzle.
[after loosing keys, bluetooth receiver, a touch of sanity and then a quick trip back home we eventually settled in at WP2 with large flatwhite ready for our adventure which as it unfolded (drama free) was just superb. We both thoroughly enjoyed the WP's, particularly the 4th ]
At some point WP3 had succumb to the incredibly stiff breeze that whips around its resting place, we found it rolling around on the ground completely exposed so we stepped up to the challenge and popped it back into what we assume is the correct position, draft free.
Contents of WP4 a little damp and in two pieces but still easily readable.
[TFTC, it's truly enjoyable and was a wonderful way to spend our day off ]

Walked from the other cache and did all the WPs. Once we figured out what we were meant to be doing at WP1, the rest was simple! Always make things too complicated. Fantastic day and great views. Collected Moose TB, and dropped Mexico Jack in. TFTC
Popped in to check on WP2 and the final with the Mrs. WP2 back in the correct spot and Final container is a bit munted but still seals. Please open from the top and not the side. It is a paint tin after all and only opens from the top. Thanks
Will pop over and look at Final Cache container. Will bring replacement just in case. If it still seals then will leave for a while longer before replacing.
Nice enjoyable multi on beautiful sunny Sunday morning out with KiwiEric.

Many thanks for a very enjoyable multi, unfortunately we left the kids bikes at home so we made them walk instead. Looks like some of the previous finders had some trouble opening the cache container, agree with Sp8s, it’s definitely looking munted.

Was a bit confused with wp1 as we didn't initially see the instructions against the waypoint, once that was sorted the rest fell quickly.
Container starting to look a bit munted, as cachers including ourselves are trying to open the wrong part.
Bit of drama in the carpark today, as two ambulances and a police car all arrived under lights and sirens.

Knocked this one off with the help of TWS and Greenblat.
Nearly killed TWS with some barbed wire at a certain point. We moved it out of the way.

Found with The Wunder Stoff and OGMcPhatazz. Picked up from where OG had fallen over on a NDDNFTF (non-disclosed did not first to find) but turned out he was very close on the maths as it happens. Remaining waypoints fell without too much trouble but we just about lost the Wonder Stuff - permanently - at the final. Look out for the barbed wire people. T4TC
WP2 had fallen out its hidey-hole but I replaced it back where I thought it might have been hidden. Also the rubber band won't last much longer. It will need to be replaced with something different.
This is a great walk around these playing fields. There were workmen busy with the construction of a new bridge over the stream for the Maraetai-Beachlands walkway. WP2 gave me a bit of strife at first until I realised that the small container sitting on the seat was the actual waypoint container. The rest fell quickly when the muggles disappeared.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable multi and luckily there were few muggles around today except for the final where we did have to go for a brief walk to take the attention away. Possibly the hardest part was opening the final cache so we had to take it back to the car to get the TOTT out. T4TC.
We had been planning to spend Friday caching on the Pohutukawa Coast, but were considering postponing because of the weather. Then this new cache was published. That settled it, we would go rain or shine. Had a really early start to see if we could take the FTF away from the eastern cachers. Arrived at the carpark and another car pulled in behind us . . . Did we have competition? No, just an early morning dog walker. Enjoyed waypoint 1 - we like a bit of a puzzle. Then on to wp2, wp3 (nice container) and the final with no trouble. And YES! a blank logbook. Another eastern FTF goes west! Thanks for this interesting and enjoyable multi.

Didn't have a clue how to find the next waypoint [WP3]. Found the co-ordinates that were riveted at WP2. Understood I needed to answer some question, based on the numbers on the panel.... but didn't know what the question was? The "Step Up" hint was too hard??? [First time multi-way point cacher - maybe my last! lol]
