Returned for another look. Been almost a year since a find log.
Might be worth a check up pls

19-Jul-15
Cache clearly stolen, again! Tie deliberately cut. May the thief's bowls be smashed into the gutter. Archived, thanks everyone.

05-May-15
Had a heads up on location to confirm we're in the right spot, but just couldn't lay paws on anything cache like tonight.
Will keep a watch out to see if it's found or maintained. thanks for the puzzle!

18-Aug-14
Couldn't locate this one, but on looking at the puzzle again, notice a slight "twist". Maybe we got a two of the coordinates in the wrong order.

Will have to try this one again at a later stage.

12-Aug-14
Quick puzzle & quick find thanks to a recently trimmed GZ. TFTC!

12-Aug-14
Easy to find, since someone has been doing some manscaping around here!

06-Jun-14
Why didn't I find it? Check out the photo.

22-May-14
Well what can I say, I had the cache owner with me today so they knew exactly where to look to find this one. That tree or shrub has been on some growth hormones and has gone a little crazy, there is no way I would have found this one without some help.

14-Apr-14
Had a reasonable look around after doing the sums, but could not come up with a cache this late at night. Tried to be as stealthy as I could but the GZ is very thick at the moment making subtlety almost impossible.

29-Aug-13
Thanks for the puzzle. I like the game but had never been to this site. Fortunately on a wet day it was all quiet, so quick find, quick log and gone.

20-Jun-13
Had completed this puzzle a few weeks ago so I decided it was time to go and find the cache. It was dark after work when I arrived at GZ. No action next door and very few muggles around. Looked in a couple of likely spots, but GPSr kept me going back to one in particular, so then it was a methodical search of the surrounding area for a few minutes and yep there it was. Cool
Retrieved, signed log and replaced, pleased with my efforts. [^] [^] Thanks for the puzzle, the hunt and the cache MtnLioness. Big GrinBig Grin

27-May-13
We attempted this puzzle before leaving Tasmania and were reasonably confident of our solution. Today we went to look for this cache. Luckily there was absolutely no activity near GZ. It too a few minutes to locate the cahe - it blended very well with its surroundings. The cache and its contents were in good condition. Thanks for the puzzle MtnLioness and thanks for the cache.

26-May-13
We took the recommendation on doing this one at night, This was our third visit as the coords we had prob weren't spot on... a small push from the owner and another search tonight.. another lengthy search and bingo it was in our hands... about 15m from where we were searching last time.... Next time we shall put the GPS down and widen our search

Thanks for the cache "Finally" MtnLioness Very Happy

26-May-13
Ahh finally we can rest easy as we have found this elusive cache Razz 1st visit there was no luck and we were stopped in our tracks by the players next door. 2nd visit we came armed and ready at night but couldnt spot the little bugger Razz so we decided to contact the owner for a little hint and on our 3rd visit we had it Smile
Thanks MtnLioness

Got it this time. In the dark no-less. I cant remember solving this one. But is inmy gsak! lol
Thanks

This completes my hat-trick of ML caches this afternoon. If things had gone to plan, the CO would have been able to aid me in the find but alas it was not to be. Instead, I had to fight my way through the greenery trying to find a small black thing hanging in a dark shaded (black) area. As is usually the way, I sent the CO a help message, only to find the cache seconds later. Doh!! Must have had my 'bloke's eyes' in.
If I'd been smart I would have driven my last bowl to put the jack in the gutter, leaving me with two shots.
TFTC MtnLioness.

I bowled into GZ on the pushbike this morning to find this crackerjack cache Smile
Lots of muggles on the other side of the fence, but it turned out that GZ was out of sight.
The cache was out of sight for a while too.
But persistence payed and I finally saw it through the greenery and gloom Big Grin

Another puzzle we sat down and solved on New Years Eve. Arrived to see the place was in use so thought that this one will not be gettable but decided to give it a shot and managed to grab it and sign it without being seen.

01-Jan-13
Did the homework before leaving for the Event...
Our luck today the muggles were out in force bowling square balls down those little rink things... Have never been able to work out how to do that...
See what happens.. As it turned out the cache was well hidden from view so we just casually retrieved, signed and returned without anyone even knowing we were there...
Thanks MtnLioness for the cache

A quick find with firesafe.
Took trackables to visit.
The Jack was in heavy use today.

I can't believe that no one has done the locus cache here since February 2012, which was 7 months ago! Surprised
Must admit, I too had coords out in the sea until an email to CO gave me an adjustment which allowed me to just touch the jack long enough to win the cache Wink
This seemed an appropriate cache to get tonight as last night I was at the Adelaide Lawn Bowls club having my first ever attempt at lawn bowls.
They are very different to 10 pin bowling Surprised
A quick find and luckily no muggles here tonight at about 9.30pm Smile

We started this one in Qld but not all the info was on the link, no problem. We will get the info when we get to SA. When we get here we find that MtnLioness has changed the questions. OK, my solution wanted us to go swimming so a quick email and we were graced wtih some help. Thankyou for that. SL TFTC

I was in this with muff1. Thanks to MtnLioness for her help. Well hidden. Thanks MtnLioness

We have been in Adelaide for Country Carnival Bowls and came here to barrack for a local side. Found the cache before too many arrived.

Found with Jeremiah Bullfrog while watching the local team compete in the bowling country carnival.
Thanks.

03-Jan-12
The website has changed. I have updated the cache listing with questions that should be longer lasting. All OK to continue now.

02-Jan-12
Thought I'd give this a go but unless I'm totally blind I can't find/see the answers to the last 2 questions on the club website. Can the CO check that this info is still there?

cheers

out for a day out when this appeared on the raidar and we decided to have a crack at it nice hide and find with a strange companion

04-Sep-11
Nice and quiet here this morning, so a good time to find and sign. I liked the hide - readily visible, but only to those who are looking. Thanks MtnLioness for the cache.

11-Jun-11
Last cache for the day. Was the smallest we'd located, so the little geo kids were thrilled! Sneaky hide, but hint was spot on! Thanks MtnLioness. Smile

08-May-11
Finally found this well hidden cache. Nice work. thanks MtnLioness

21-Jan-11
With knipper dad being a bowler this one was must do while we were down this way! Fortunately for us the greenskeeper busied himself out of our view while we found and signed this one. Thanks for a fun puzzle and a tricky little hide

16-Jan-11
Have been past on quite a few occasions but always seemed to time it to perfection with huge functions going on. Had a clearer day today but still no joy. Will try again yet another day.

26-Dec-10
No boxing day bowling tournaments on today! So finally we could have a decent peek at the location... Last time we were there I was stung in my neck by a paperwasp. Just a little warning to the male caching fraternity, to not cut yourself on a wasp bite whilst shaving. Your blood is pretty thin whilst the healing process takes place and it makes an aweful mess of your shirt.....
Anyway, no problems retrieving the little vessel today and as others have already quoted, you come out smelling like roses (or something similar)

25-Dec-10
Found on Christmas day after visiting family in the afternoon. Nice hide. Took a little while to find and to look up the previous logs on the phone before getting a clearer picture of where the cache could be. No muggles about today. Thanks for the cache MtnLioness.

14-Dec-10
a little late logging these caches did this on a caching day out with froghoppin

14-Dec-10
Ok the moral of the story in this case is not to search the wrong bush. It is a little itchy, had to phone a friend to get this one but we also needed to get some stop itch ouch !!!!!!!!!!!!!! if we had searched the right bush we would have been fine thanks to the frog aid kit we were saved. Found with fellow cachers Aussie M and M Driftkid and Sacred Geos.

Had a new cacher with us, led us Australiana and we were searching the wrong bush, ouch it was very itchy and we all had a reaction to it. After calling in help it was a very easy find. Thanks Mtn Lioness. Found with Sacred Geos, Drift Kid and Mrs Froghoppin.

01-Dec-10
Our fifth find after catching a train to Grange.
We dodged rainstorms while searching.
Mr Fluffy found it fairly easily after reading logs and feeling around for the cache.

Found this as part of the group down from Queensland for a cache raid this weekend.

This one eluded us for a while so I got my head right in amongst it and spied it out the corner of my eye.

This turned out not to be too bad as I had a lovely smell about me from the bush for a little while.

Good thing the muggles where using the facilities today.

24-Oct-10
It didn't take long to find the necessary information to get the final co-ordinates. The search took some time as the cache was well hidden and perhaps had suffered from a little cache creep. After some careful examination of the bush the cache eventually revealed itself.

We were amazed at the number of people out with trailers retrieving things from the kerbside collections piles - there must be some good junk in this area Wink It meant than we could search to our hearts content for the devious little container TFTC MtnLioness

24-Oct-10
Found as part of the SE Queensland puzzle solvers group raid on Adelaide. Must have been curbside collection day because we had to negotiate around someone parked in the middle of the road with boot open to get to GZ. Took a bit of searching to get this one. TFTC Mtn Lioness

24-Oct-10
Hmm, you would think that many eyes would make light work of this one but... it still took a while to locate the container... We had the clue on hand but still missed it for a while... Red Face Bedmaker eventually made the find... [^]

Not a local muggle to be seen in the area but, the same could not be said for drive through muggles who had gatherred to survey the junk left out fromt of peoples houses for the curbside collection... There was no shortage of them I can tell you... Surprised

Cheers MtnLioness

24-Oct-10
Found as a participant in the The SE Qld Puzzle Solvers Group Raid into Adelaide this weekend...

Puzzzle solved in our leadup work @ home

Once we arrived @ GZ cache was to hand after an extensive search...

Muggle activity here seemed to centre around raiding the kerbside colllection heaps put out by the locals

Thanks MtnLioness for the cache

Found with the SEQ puzzle solvers. Took a while to locate this cache as the foliage had grown. TFTC and the puzzle!

31-Jul-10
Second or third visit here. Friday nights must be social night.

Brazen hide, assuming I have found the right cache.

Nice easy puzzle which took me back to when my grandparents played bowls and I would go and watch in the school holidays, not for the bowls but the treats from the shop.

Did a bit of puzzle solving on Saturday afternoon in preparation for a western suburbs trip. This one was pretty easy and a quick find once there thanks to the hint.
Thanks MtnLioness

All fixed, ready to go

10-Jun-10
Cache found in new location. Came out smelling rather nice according to MtnLioness. Like the theme of CrackerJACK.

31-May-10
Cache has been pruned, Shall reconfigure this one soon

07-May-10
Finally I can cross this cache off the unfound list!!! I think that my problem was that I was looking so hard that I looked right past the cache!!

Today, I had this slippery little sucker in my hands within 30 seconds of arriving!

Thanks MtnLioness for the cache and the multiple shoves in the right direction.

03-May-10
Woohoo! Third time lucky! In some ways its much easier to do this at night, though it makes it a bit harder to spot the container. Found it in the end though Smile.

Thanks MtnLioness!

11-Apr-10
Had to wait for a number of muggles to leave the area. Just as well the KFC box had food in it. TFTC

Smile worked this one out a few weeks ago but finally got the chance to come by and collect. Tftc mt lioness Smile

21-Feb-10
After gathering all the information it enabled me to bowl a "crackerjack" to rest right on the kitty. Thanks to the lioness and milkman for the historical information, the cache and hunt.

15-Feb-10
Surprisingly quick find considering the size of it! I'll admit I did read the hint before getting out of the car though, and that helped a lot.
Luckily nobody around this time of day.
Thanks Lioness & Milkman

01-Feb-10
Accompanied with Lava12 for the day. Loves your puzzle. Excellent hide spot. Lava12 found it before me. SL. Thanks lioness & milkman for organising the cache and hunt.

01-Feb-10
It looks like I was not the only visitor to this cache today. There were a cluster of puzzles in this area and I probably could have walked to all of them but I had the car and it grabbed the prime parking spot to attempt this one.
Thanks

01-Feb-10
Accompanied by Everlasting. Great little hiding spot, just have to watch out for the muggles Smile
Thanks lioness & milkman for the cache. Smile

Find 844 My way without a GPS at 3.00pm
Scored a strike with the first bowl.
Thanks lioness & milkman for the cache.

11-Jan-10
Solved the puzzle after doing the research. Only had the Greenkeeper to contend with at GZ, but I disguised the search by taking an interest in botany, and he was too busy to notice anyhow. Thanks for the cache MtnLioness.

01-Jan-10
Came by for another look, but the green was occupied again. Didn't all the Jacks pop their crackers at Christmas?

28-Dec-09
I didn't even have to get out the car - how easy is that!

28-Dec-09
Parked only 2m from the cache, and whilst it wasn't in the first place we looked, once A read the hint to me, I found it straight away.

All quiet on the green's today, so no chance of some Mick Molloy gold.

On our way quickly as we had to go toward the crowds of Harbor Town.

TNLNSL

10-Dec-09
Didn't attempt tonight, as there were dozens of Jacks crackering their balls on the grassy bit. I know, my command of lawn bowling terminology is amazing isn't it?

04-Dec-09
An easy find today after working this puzzle out last month while working over in Vic.
There was some action on the green today but noone cared i was there.
Cheers Lioness and MM.

23-Nov-09
A trip by Mr O earlier in the day failed to find the cache, with muggles almost continually walking or driving past and tradies working across the road. A joint search by both of us later on, after everyone had gone home, was more successful. TFTC.

21-Nov-09
Not a snowball's chance today ...

13-Nov-09
Called past in the cool of the morning for a surprisingly quick find.
No-one to be seen anywhere near GZ this morning! Heatwave caching is great [^]
Cheers

08-Nov-09

Too hot for any greens activity today. Not a day to open any Grange - more like a Coopers for the old boys.

It would be a ballzee find if the jack is being aimed at.

Clear skies from TeamAstro and our thanks to the lioness & milkman.

07-Nov-09
Solved this when it came up and since we had a 'cache cluster' here, found it today [^].
Had to wait for the muggles to disperse, before retrieving the cache.
TNLNSL.
Thanks for another one Lioness & Milkman Cool.

05-Nov-09
found easily on a sanity saving bike ride during Study week, was very busy but with a little help from someone who lives within coowee of the cache it was an easy find

The cache was found in the first place I looked!! Don't you just love that. Time for a Flipper.Smile

03-Nov-09
After some coercing from the Lioness I sat down and worked out the coords. Went for a wander and eventually found it. After some constructive "comments" about her deviousness I will endevour to work out the next one. TFTC

Suppose I should've been kind and let the Flippers get *FTF* here, but they'll love the spot when they finally call past.
Having been here before I knew that one can only come from the South, and I was in luck with no muggles around.
A quick grab whilst Cal dried off after spilling his water bottle on the way homeRed Face
Found the required answer for one question, but also came across a correct answer that wont work whilst perusing the site.
