### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there vp4,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

Lid is barely existent on this one. Has been wrapped in sandwich bag but could with an upgrade.
Today Vinz has come to the place of the great release to see if the artifact hidden here can provide a clue to the whereabouts of his beloved Zuul.
The great release of the fluffy butted ones is comparable to the summoning of Gozer and the Destroyer in the scale of destruction and misery it has brought upon the land. Indeed, should Vinz and Zuul finally hook up, one can perceive the Destroyer taking the form of the dreaded bunny to once again wreak havoc on the world.
Vinz found this cache to be damaged and full of water, although he was able to make his mark and perform a temporary repair, the guardian of this artifact may wish to visit it for some TLC....TFTC.

Accurate coordinates made this cache a quick find , found cache and contents scattered around . Reassembled and replaced . All's good at gz now , Thanks vp4
A cold Sunday afternoon and not a great deal to do, so we jumped in the Geomobile with the Geodogs and headed out to a neck of the woods we haven't done much Geocaching in but have often visited. Having left Inverleigh and heading towards Winchelsea, we had to pick up a cache with a name like this one. Wonder if Rex Hunt would have had his famous saying without the event that occurred near this cache so many years ago. The cache was a nice quick find and was in very good condition. Thank you for this cache vp4.
Regarding Go forth and multiply (GC21461):
Very easy find on our way into town. We have to get a bit more organised and bring the caching bag with us.

A trip to the country and a few caches along the way to break the journey.
Quick park and grab here while my car imitated a speed camera.
Thanks to vp4 for the placement and fun.

We now have a learner in the house, so I'm using the experience to get a few caches on the backroads. Yippee! TFTC, love the jump out and retrieve style.
Grabbed this one a few days ago on the way to work. Got very wet feet as the ditch was filled with water after recent rain (I was in thongs, accidental preparation!). Barwon Park Mansion was looking very grand in the distance. Thanks for this one!
Out with 6hinemoa2 to finish the Bambra series and clean up a few caches along the way. 6h2 had already found this cache and explained that the house in the distance was where she learned to do lace work. Looks like a great old home. Thanks for the cache vp4
With tonight being the last day of the month we were already looking forward to next month and trying to secure a fisrt to find for our streak of find at least one in each consecutive month with is currently at 48 months straight. We had our eye on a couple of replacement cache in the Bambra area so while on our way there for a midnight find AusFox; Neville_devil and myself thought we would grab a few smileys around Winch.
A quick find here for Neville and I as AusFox; had already a smiley for this one.
Thank you VP4

#3920 Nice one Thomas Austin, not! It's not often we do a cache in the countryside and not spot a rabbit or burrow and all thanks to Tom! The mansion over yonder looks like a really interesting place. Nice history and TFTC vp4. No rabbits were harmed in the retrieval of this cache .
Living on Phillip Island I am well aware of the issue of rabbits on the Australian environment. One area of The Island they have been successfully eradicated but it is a huge job. If only we could turn the clocks back and stop the release of those 24 original rabbits. The cache, while unlikely to be muggled was unexpectedly exposed to the elements and had disintegrated. I had a spare in the car and replaced the container . Unfortunately we lost the cover of a drawer in our boot when I forgot to close the boot before we drove off. If the CO or anyone else in locality checks the area we’d love to get it back. We didn’t notice until we were almost home, but closed the back door within about 200 metres.
Found whilst caching with OutRangerous. Quick find in between rain showers. Interesting information about the rabbits. TFTC
Just passing through Winchelsea on our way to Colac. Easy find and yeah the container’s broken. Log book wasn’t too wet for now. TFTC.
Nice easy find thanks
Top broken off container but upside down so log dry in it sealed bag

Wow, this is where it all started! Thanks vp4. The container lid is broken but the log is dry for now. Found on my way through to Geelong this morning hunting for Mystery Museum clues.
Release the pidgeons I mean rabbits. Grub62 and I were in the area and were able to find this cache. I would normally state that it's in good condition but it looks like the sun has affected the lid and it is very brittle. Broken to be accurate. TFTC.
TFTC vp4 and for bringing us to this special place. Bunadoorian and I have driven through Winch often but have never been here. We found the cache and signed the log. Unfortunately the lid of the cache is disintegrating. We replaced the log's zip lock bag and emptied the water out of the cache. I replaced the cache upside down in the hope the water wouldn't get in as easily.
Thankfully this was an easy find cause it was pitch black and drizzle. Last one for the day though. TFTC
A good spot to stop and view the mansion
Impressive for its day !!
So this is where one of the plaques started ??
Shame that the settlers didn't stop at wabbits !!

Working in Waurn Pinds instead of Melbourne for once meant I could venture somewhere different for todays streak find with the time saved not commuting. A quick 15 minute blast down the rd and this one was in hand quickly and easily. Ziploc bag is compromised and as such the log is veeeeery wet. TFTC.
Nice historical note!
Thanks for guiding us here to a stop at the road trip.

On a short break at Dean's Marsh and this was our first find for the day. Nice easy one with not much water in the gutter to jump. Oh, Mr. Austin, what have you done, letting rabbits loose.
What a great title! Fortunately after jumping the muddy almost-creek of water the cache was found in good condition. Thanks for placing a cache here!

Sassieold55 and myself met up with friends for lunch in Winchelsea, the spare time we had turned this into a smiley. To wet for the rabbits today. TFTC VP4
A sunday drive from Melbourne down to Forrest to do the Lake Elizabeth earthcache.
This was our first stop for the day after getting off the freeway and quite a good one bringing two things to our attention - the start of Australia's rabbit plague and the Barwon Park mansion that we were totally unaware of.. We drove down the long driveway to have a quick look. But decided to come back another day to check it out in detail as today was a caching day!
Thanks for the cache vp4 and for bringing these two things to our attention.

Spent New Years Day caching in and around Inverleigh with good friends the Razzers. Picked this one up on our way to meeting up with them. All in all a great day, with mild warm weather, great company , lunch at the local brew house before
resuming activities in the afternoon.
TFTC vp4.

In a strange twist, if it wasn't for the rabbits, many would have been a lot more hungry during those years after ww1 & 2. Not to mention those fine "Akubra" hats all made from our humble bunny fur.

Continuing my journey through Victoria to pick up caches for the Victorian LGA Polygon Challenge & Victoria Country Road Atlas Challenge. Managed to get another 2 maps ticked off and 7 LGA's. TFTC.
Go forth and multiply.
Boy did the rabbits here those words and run with them without stopping.
Between the mice and the rabbits there has been a lot of damage done to our environment over the years.
Still it was a fun Cache to do, coords spot and I made it over the ditch.
Thanks vp4 TFTC.

Those rabbits certainly followed that advice which was given in such a different context Loved the view of Barwon Grange homestead which unfortunately was closed when I was there as I had been looking forward to visiting it TFTC
Easy find. Although had to get my walker friend to jump the ditch cause my wheelchair would have gotten bogged lol....
Quick find today while out trying for the Mary Hyde challenge. Beautiful property. Pity about the rabbits. TFTC vp4 and for bringing us here today.
Dropped off a TB and something else for the next lucky cacher.

Haha, we loved the name of this cache and the description - how crazy!

I had yet another fantastic long weekend in Victoria.
After I collected the amazing Wozzle68 [^], we went on quite the adventure which included:
* Attending the "15 years of Events in Victoria" event in Lerderderg Gorge and I got to catch up with a number of my caching buddies;
* I was the first to discover 2 trackables.....hahahaha.....ChooknChunk you guys crack me up [^]
* Caching with the fabulous Feathertop in Bacchus Marsh [:X]
* Driving to the Mornington Peninsula to find the second oldest cache in Victoria (from the year 2000) [^]
* Enjoying a yummy pizza dinner in Berwick with the lovely micaparamedic after we caught up with him earlier in the day [^]
* Spending the night in a motel in Dandenong so we could then attack the Pretzel Series the following morning
* After finding about 40 cache finds out of the Pretzel Series I then drove us down past Colac - so we could find the McLooker's Challenge caches (you guys are awesome!),
* Sadly we needed to go back to Ballarat, but only after Woz and I sat in my car eating a creative and delicious dinner (oh yeah baby!!) in the dark whilst it drizzled outside....and having the funniest phone convo ever with our awesome bud Snap Happy [:o)]
* And then I drove back to Adelaide (gotta love caffeinated energy drinks!) .....WOW....what a wonderful time I had! [:o)] [:X] [^]
Thanks for the cache vp4!

We needed to break the drive down Colac from Pakenham so why not have a stretch and get a cache. Thanks for the hide
Quick and easy, and an interesting story to go with it.

Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide location led to a quick find. Although the log book was in good condition, a cracked lid had let a small amount of water into the container and the contents were damp. Some attention will be needed before winter. Thanks vp4 for the cache.
After being instructed to wait to pivk up the yeenager from a local party, I put the time to good use getting a few local caches. All in order here, we may come back to visit the mansion. TFTC.
Out on a rare day of Geocaching while the better half of Team Ladava went to see the exhibition at the mansion, the geo-dog and I did a few caches in the area.

Day 3 of our Mega adventure.
While most have headed home, perhaps for a work day today, we still get out to play.
Dawdling our way home to Echuca.
After completing another section of the G2A trail, it's through new country before stopping at Daylseford for the night.

A quick park and leap and grab this afternoon after trying to keep my feet dry, the cache was quickly located and logged, great views over the old mansion from here, no rabbits to be seen though! TFTC vp4.
Way back when I was in university studying environmental science we did alot of work around rabbits and how they were introduced. How times have changed since the acclimatization society introduced their rabbits for a bit of sport. Was good to finally see where the Austin family called home. Cache was visible from the road today but we fixed that before we left. TFTC vp4
A special family outing - trying to find caches that are "regular" or larger. Go go Winchelsea! I've cached on all sides of you, but today was the first cache *in* you. Thanks heaps, vp4!
wow it was dark and it was the easiest cache I've ever found, might need a bit more camo, tftc
