Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. We made the find here. Thanks WombatStew.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. Thanks Wombat Stew
Full time Nomads since March 2014.
Having been in Perth to visit family our stay has come to an end and we are on our way to Broken Hill for the Mundi Mundi Bash.
Stopping in Jamestown to catch up with Sylken. This morning we joined with them to attempt a new cache and try to convert some . Bumping into Chrispy was a bonus. We continued along in 3 cars, then 2 cars then it was just us caching our way back to Jamestown.
Fun Sunny day to be out and about.

Crazy to think people went to school out here and there were enough kids to school it
After making my way up to Caroona Creek Comservation Park yesterday and camping the night there my main goal of the day was to make the walk through Tourilie Gorge finding cache with 4.5 years unloved followed by the rest of the day finding caches around the mid north yet to be found before making my way back to Adelaide.
Thanks for the cache

Unfortunately didn't get out to Browne's Hill but finding the little school and learning about its history made the drive worthwhile. tftc.

The Non Wangaratta Event Tour 2021!
Covid has postponed the Mega in Victoria until January but leave had been granted for AnyMules to attend with me and Bushfire. So Anymules and I went on a tour to Eyre Peninsular and mid north South Australia instead whilst Bushfire joined us in spirit only as covid meant he couldn't come here either. Not needing anything for my yearly goals I hoped I didn't add too many to the DNFs [B)]
DAY 5: Exploring some mid north towns.
What a lovely old building. A quick find for us.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks Wombat Stew for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Another educational cache bringing us some history especially about the guy who made my old boots !
We like these ones, especially now that we too live in an old school.
Nice to see that someone still seems to look after the building and keep the history alive.
Much appreciation to Wombat Stew for hiding this cache on our mid north SA geo map game board
Touring the countryside with Jack and Purrfect Di.
Fav for the nice old place and for not using a mint tin !
---
Geocaches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about especially away from the city crowds,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

Day 2 of our Mid North tour taking in some caching and the Jamestown Airshow.
Today we have visited a few interesting spots and we have awarded a favourite or two. Hopefully this cache has been awarded the prize.
Sorry for a generic log but that is just the way it is today. Been a very difficult weekend with unreliable automobiles and GPR's. Anyone want to buy one or both?
Many thanks for bring us to your special place.
Nearly gave up on this one but threw the GPS away and used caching skills. No reptiles in sight today!

Found while wearing my "RM's" on the way home after the Jamestown Airshow Spectacular. Make sure you take the drive up to Browne's Hill after - the views are indeed spectacular.
Found it this morning on the way back to the farm. There must have been many of these little schools in the country, pity most have gone.
Took Highlighter, left large Paperclip.

Last cache for the day. Geograndfather is now understanding why we take so long to get from one place to another! But he is also thoroughly enjoying all he is seeing - this is a good example of something that would be missed by the average tourist. Fantastic history, especially seeing it is connected to someone so well known. Fav point from us. Thanks.
Found as a part of TheKellyGang, writing this as a genaric log as I was a part of TheKellyGang and am now out on my own.
If you do not agree with this you are more than welcome to delete the log.

Logging this cache as I move home,it's early in the morning after 500km of caching for just over a dozen. These pigeons sure can give you a bit of a scare in the dark out here.I was greatful that I did not need to enter the building, tftc
What a lovely old building! One of the great things about caching is that you find these little gems. I just started a job in Jamestown, and already I have seen more of the surrounding countryside that I would ever be likely to otherwise.
I grabbed lunch from a bakery in Jamestown, and drove out to the cache following the GPS. I decided to eat at the school, but the brutally cold wind made that somewhat difficult. (Suit pants aren't designed for warmth.)
The school is in amazing condition, but be careful with the broken floorboards. The ones that are still there are in good condition, but several are missing. The door isn't locked, just jammed a bit. There is a visitors log in the middle of the room which I didn't sign becuase I had lunch in my hand.
Thanks Wombat Stew!

Its great to see how good a condition some of these schools are in, many are now just a pile of rocks with a plaque TFTC Wombat stew
DD2 Rushed out the car and had it in her hand before I could get out the car to join the search! Little monkey found it straight away. Thank you for the hide. We enjoyed the visit
Another glorious day today with beautiful sunny and warm weather...enjoyed the drive up to the hide...interesting old school and history...Ms Bushies2 found it easily. Thanks again.

We made an attempt to get to this cache from the West, but the condition of the roads after recent rain made us abandon this one until a drier day.
Depending on which system you believe this cache is either exactly 200 km from my home coordinates or 200.1 km, either way it is the furthest cache from home visited during this weekend in the Jamestown area.
Reginald certainly got around from these humble beginnings. Would any parent let a thirteen y.o. go out and travel the world solo today?
A pleasant tribute to a another great ausie icon.
Dropping in some travellers for a quick visit and to put some miles on the clock.
Thanks Wombat Stew.

Loved this cache and the little school (little being the operative word). Reg probably learnt a lot here and so have I during the pre LWE visit to Jamestown. TFTC. Left a couple of Pathtags
The day this cache was published I was within 5km of GZ, however I had no idea that it was there. Today we stopped and admired the veiws.
Surprised to get a [orange] Silver here[/orange]. A lovely place for the Reg to get an education . The old succulent plants look like they are still thriving from his day. Bet they can tell the story. Mulit coords spot on and a quick find. Wham Bam. Thankyou to Wombat Stew again.
