Searched for about 30 minutes around here with the rest of my family but no joy. I did not see the maintenance log until after I got home so I guess this is why we did not find it. It appears that it is no longer there.
Unfortunatly this has been muggled. Found very soaked log book and contents scattered about base of tree. Have brought cache out with me as was beyond any use.
Quick find not far from the track. Loads of Tui and Wood Pigeons fluttering about overhead.
Thanks to the co ords from Marmis this was quickly in hab=nd and nesting on the ground. Log is fairly damp but I was able still to write clearly. TFTC
Had to use spoiler photo to find this one. Took a little while to find but using the great hint soon had the cache in hand. After reading the recent logs i realised that there are updated coordinates from another cacher. Log book is very damp but still signable. TNLN - TFTC!! Great morning for walking in the bush with the sun overhead! Makes a nice change from all the rain we have had lately!
Found OK -- the suggested replacement coordinates below (marmis) are spot on.
Miss 5 spotted the [insert hint here] -- else I'd have been looking for ages.
Log was rather wet so added a dessicant sachet into the bag and sealed tightly. Shame no room for swag

Might have found this cache more easily had we not transposed the cache notes for this cache with the other cache notes for the other traditional cache nearby. Its never anyones fault of course so will have to blame the half light and wet terrain from the overnight rain. TFTC and for the not too quick a find, but got there in the end!
GPS worked better than I thought it would under cover of the trees. Found as per pictures and hints. Logbook a bit damp. Our 2nd find for the night.Good one.
A do not find for us. Probarly worthwile to update coordinates. We will try an other time again.
Thought I might be in for a bit of forest exploring... but a nice easy walk had me to the seat... and 37 paces from that had me near a likely spot... First place I looked and I had the cache in hand... log book is still quite damp... so thanks to previous cacher who left a nice little replacement log sheet

Found a seat, then found a big tree, then found a cache - love it when it goes to plan... Log book still pretty damp so I left a replacement sheet in there for the next finder. TFTC
Great bit of bush/park next time I come here I will bring the family.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
3428. The cache is damp and the log book is very wet. We found the cache easily in this very nice bush area. We were a little wary about searching in bush after a previous experience in bush on the North Shore during an earlier cache hunt in the Auckland area. However, this trip we only had good experiences and thoroughly enjoyed our short times in bush areas.
Thanks

Second find for the day with CDM261.
Co-ordinates are just a little bit out. TN and left signature eraser. TFTC.

Eventually found it, GPS didn't get that close but clue helped slightly disturbed by the single guys cruising around the car park, they certainly weren't geocaching TFTC
Whilst being buzzed by a low flying 747, the GPS took me to within a couple of metres of the cache, which was a good job as I didn't spot the swing. The whole area was very wet from all the recent rain.
The inside of the cache had some water in (tipped out) and the log is rather damp. It could do with being dried out, although it's still usable with the pencil in the cache.
The GPS had us going around in circles under all this tree cover, and really wished we had taken the picture with us, as one big tree can often look like the other hundred it is surrounded by!
Finally found and ticked off though.....TFTC

Thought this would be a real problem with muggles when I encountered parents & preschooers picnic in the park...about 30 of them! Fortunatly they took the opposite path. Then the next problem...finding the cache. Great piece of bush. TFTC
It's been a long break from geocaching, but an easy find thanks to Mrs fun2seek's sharp eyes. Log book needs replacing as it is totaly soaked through.

Didn't bring the spoiler pic with me so spent a little time before having the cache in hand. Logbook a little damp.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
We found the cache to be 25m off. Didn't have access to the photo in the hint either, but persistence paid off and Tromelin eventually spotted the cache. Enjoyed our walk through this nice forest. TFTH
Pleasant walk to GZ and we didn't even have to look for the cache as it was exposed and open and the logbook out of the bag but luckily it was only damp . Any other contents have gone. We have burried the cache under some leaf litter where we found it so hopefully it is now safe T4TC.
Found after a short search of the area, Somewhere between the 2 lots of co-ords. SL TFTC
Last cache for 09! Spent a while looking THEN read the logs
Great place to be on a hot windy day for the kids on their bikes & adults on foot.

This is a fantastic patch of bush, loved the visit. Hmm not another meeting place for blokes in cars though - already have that problem with one of our caches, grrr. TFTC
I thought there was a concert going on with the park taken over with Indian music from a getto blaster. GZ seemed a good 20m out, but Mr Tomato's coords were good for me.

Indiana Jill, Kayaknkiwi and I were grateful for Butterfly Lady's coords on this one. The gps was going this way and that, and we didn't have a picture. That didn't matter cuz Kayaknkiwi looked in the obvious spot and what do you know, she found the cache! Took me 40 paces. TFTC!
Arrived at GZ, searched and searched some more. Relooked at logs, thanks butterfly lady. Cache in hand soon after. Thanks for the adventure on this one. TFTC! Such a wonderful spot.
Managed to find without the spoiler photos.

But Mummy, why are there so many men sitting in their cars and walking around the bush on their own?

Didn't bring the spoiler pic with me but not too hard to find despite that. plus being a bit out from the published co-ords. Nice spot, sure looks like a great place for a picnic.
Oh, we needed a photo - well, we give it a go, without.
Got to likely spot, chatted to a muggle enoying the restful spot. Moved on, pointed and chatted openly about trees.
Eventually he moved on. Followed the unformed track from that spot, and used a little logic. Found a cache too!
Picked up the MirPets GC and left the travel slug.

Was surprised to see this one still unfound when I woke up this morning, so headed out quickly.
Coords a bit off, took a new reading.
Nice bush, deserved another cache.
Thanks for placing one.
Took Coins, left TB.
Got muggled by an elderely man doing his morning walk.
Explained geocaching to him.

Was also suprised to see this one still here. A late start heading this way. 2nd to find TFTC.
This piece of bush deserves more than one cache, it's a craker spot. No problems in locating it.
