Thanks, yes, I archived this cache yesterday May 24 in response to AdrianMc's comment agreeing that it was time for this cache to go!

24-May-11
Time to go??

24-May-11
Yes, time to go I think - it was fun, but a high maintenance cache!

16-Aug-10
Thanks Firesafe! I checked it out and unfortunately the cache has disappeared, so I'll disable the listing for now and see if it turns up. I'm not sure I will want to replace this one given that it can be high maintenance Wink

11-Aug-10
Found the tree, found a nail in the tree but nothing connected to it. Moved the car up to the tree and started getting higher looking into some holes. I only found a broken bird egg. Sad

24-Jul-10
Round and round the tree I go. Where it is....there it is.
Cheers from the Posspet Boys

Took GeoHusband to find this one that Saintsmadhouse and I found previously. Easy find when you have all the clues and yes now he is Hooked on this one.

03-Jul-10
Interesting hide. A quick grab today as there were several muggles in the vicinity. TFTC

25-Jun-10
Found it, fantastic hiding spot. At night, so no muggles, description helpful.

24-Jun-10
Found as a part of Team SaintsMadHouse and now that the kids have grown we each have our own accounts to finddd geocaches with separately wherever we go!The best cache I've ever found, a great way to test our problem solving skills at night . The cache is fairly easy IF it is 'hooked' which in our case it wasn't. I was determined to get it then and there and I refused to leave. So we used the Geomobile as a platform and found a stick for persuasion and retrieval. Very slowly wriggled the stick and OOPS, sent it further in, Oh NO MUGGLES, Make it look like your waiting for someone, ok gone.. not to worry, refocus, twist, bite lip for concentration, oh no MUGGLES! Quick! Hide! Make it look like your waiting for someone AGAIN. ok gone. back to it, twist, hook, raise, nearly, nearly, dont sneeze. here she is, slowly and GOT IT. Thanks for this one!

So glad we took the 4 Wheel Drive Geomobile tonight and not the little Red Geomobile as this sure was a tricky one for vertically challenged Geocachers, as it had gone down to the depths of despare and out of reach but we knew where it was decided this was the only way we were going to do the retrieve so backed up, a bit more, a bit more, further, further, that's enough then took a peek and found it way down deep, While I was on muggle and muggle car watch patrol, Saintsmadhouse carefully did the retrieval. Once found and log signed etc we put it back just as it should be left playing hookey so next searchers can retrieve it more easily. Loads of laughs with this one. TFTC.

20-Jun-10
Made a quick grab with the help of Filmore before having a play on the playground.
SL
Thanks

20-Jun-10
Hi!
Eye Guy made the grab with my help.
Had Jamie in tow also so had to have a play on the playground before having lunch.
There was an interesting Australian Cattle Dog having a great time on the three slipperydips. I think he was enjoying the slides more than the kids?
Nice hide.
Signed Log.
Left the cache as we found it.
Thanks
Ray

Found finally after several looks! TNLNSL. Great hide!

20-Mar-10
Found after meeting Liz and Bruce at football. I saw some people walking around with GPS's and decided to tag along! Nice for the younger members of the Hamishgrovers to bag some without the parents! Go geokids!

20-Mar-10
When an opportunity presented itself for Bruce to go geocaching with Someuser today he jumped at the chance. This was one of the thirty caches they managed to find today. Thanks for placing the cache. We enjoyed the interaction we had with Hamishgrovers at this one Big Grin and especially their ability in retrieving the cache.

20-Mar-10
Bruce and I kind of figured out where it probably is but we couldn't feel it anywhere so thought it may have fell in again. While we were searching we came across the Hamish Grovers who asked us if we were Geocaching. Well if it wasn't for them getting on Bruce's shoulders and retrieving it from the depths we wouldn't have picked up the smiley!! Thanks for the cache and the help from the Hamishgrovers

27-Feb-10
The cache is back in position Big Grin

21-Feb-10
No problem Penny Drops! I am interstate at the moment so I'll temporarily disable the listing. The cache will be back in place by Friday 26th Feb Wink

20-Feb-10
High muggle alert in playground today did not spot it right off so was feeling a bit out of place.
Should have bought my kids for cover but they dont think caching is cool anymore.

With stealth grabbed the cache and moved 100m or so away to sign the log.
TNSL - L Australian Penny 1952. TFC Gumblossum great little themed cache.

Went for the return as muggles all around. Yes sorry I did the wrong thing and it disappeared. Sorry Red Face
Unable to attempt retreival due to muggle attention.

20-Feb-10
Was going to attempt the nearby BMX Club however a couple of loitering muggles made that attempt imposible. This was the next nearest and at a walkable distance too.

I only had to wait a few minutes for some muggles to pass, and then for the GPSr to settle down to find the cache.

16-Feb-10
found this cache while on lunch break while over in adelaide doing counselling course good hide replaced cache

HAPPY CACHING TRAVEL SAFELY

11-Feb-10
Yes sir the box is red. You will be pleased to learn that three cachers with +16,000 finds looked elsewhere until we read the cache notes.

11-Feb-10

Read the 2 previous logs.

After this we headed for the nearest fast food place to feed the caching brains.

I admit I glossed over this location although it had to be here.

Did I say I needed food. Razz No food in 9 hours does funny things to GZ's. Clear skies and TF this red box hide.

11-Feb-10
We eventually found what the red box was all about but we wandered around like headless chooks, even checking the correct location of GZ before giving it another go and making the find.
Lots of sport happening here tonight after dark.

06-Feb-10
Tennis was in full swing (as was the cricket) when we went looking for this cache Razz.
Waited till the coast was clear after first noticing the neat hiding spot [^].
Took soldier. Left thong. SL.
Thanks GumBlossom.

12-Jan-10
Our first ever Geocache find, great fun and a brilliant hide. Thanks.

07-Jan-10
Found on the way to friends for a BBQ, quick find while no muggles about. TFTC.

05-Jan-10
Been trying for this one since its second day. Been back three times only to be muggled off the property. So tonight under the cover of darkness I claimed the prize. Thank you Gumblossom for bringing me here again and again and again etc. Good to see the facilities being enjoyed by so many. SL TNLN

Thanks Gumblossom for the cache. Smile

24-Dec-09
And a beautiful little red box it is. Certainly worth the hunt. TFTC. TNLN.

20-Dec-09
We came up blank here today. Searched a spot that matched the description, but there wasn't much there.

Shall return, no doubt next winter whilst umpiring footy here.

20-Dec-09
I am very sorry that cache went down as I retrieve the cache but my finger slipped it... SurprisedSurprisedSurprised

[Edit] - I have signed the log for you Everlasting, and repositioned the cache so please go ahead and log this one as a find Big Grin

08-Dec-09
Clever hide, managed to successfully gather and return cache. Biggest problem is muggle traffic, must be a through road. TNLNSL Thanks for the cache and hunt.

07-Dec-09
And this was my other stop for the day.
Spent about an hour playing nearby with the grandson and then when the area was clear it was a nice quick find [^]
No problems with replacement today.
Cheers, TFTC.

06-Dec-09
Was intending to do some caching with Jimmy01 later in the day but when this popped up had a quick change of plans. Not to many muggles around this morning and the cache was quickly found and signed. Neat hide. Coords spot on. Thanks Gumblossom

06-Dec-09
Quick find with Pikapene. Thanks Gumblossom

06-Dec-09
ok found this 1 we just had to wait till the coast was clear
only thing is...when replacing the cache into its place the
cache slipped off and went down the hole
we could see it when from above however with so many muggles back and forth it was sort of hard to
retrieve it back

06-Dec-09
06/12/09 joint find with saintsno1 but promtply lost it deep inside the tree, tryed to recove but to many muggles, will need a long implement to retreve.sorry. Maybe not the best place to hide , as it faces the playground and there are cars driving past all the time.
TFTC

06-Dec-09
I was pretty sure where it was but the place was deeper than I could reach. Now reading the previous logs I'll watch to see if anyone finds this one before I go back.

06-Dec-09
More a didn't bother getting out of car, as was on phone to another cacher as we pulled up, and was told of the previous visitors find log. Is it kosher to log a find after losing the cache? hahahahahaha

06-Dec-09
No problem Saintsno1, I fished it out OK. Geospouse came with me and said that I can't leave it in the current hiding place if people can't retrieve it after accidently dropping it. Being stubborn I said let's wait and see. Wink If this turns out to be too much of a problem for people, I'll have to move it I guess. Just let me know if it drops folks, and I'll fish it out again. I'll also edit the listing to alert people further. Big Grin
