No luck this time sadly. Had a good look around, lots of stretching, lots of reaching
Got the little blighter. I had to stretch and feel for it from up high We are supporting our mate who is running to Darwin (@curlyrunsnz). He started at Stewart Island in November, just south of the South Island of New Zealand and made to Cape Reinga at the tip of the North Island by New Years Day. He then flew to Tasmania, ran to the ferry terminal in Devonport and sailed to Geelong. Since then it has been a long hard slog across Victoria and into South Australia up the Stuart Highway but he is now close to the finish line in Darwin.19slats88, I found Bridge Creek Rest Stop today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Traveling from Perth to Darwin and beyond with richlink enjoying the spectacular scenery and interesting locations on offer. This is a great rest spot we stopped here for our lunch. Thanks
Heading to Darwin with iluvtrekking after overnighting outside of Katherine. Enjoying the different stops along the way and the variety of caches. Stopped for a late lunch break and found a cache as a bonus. Thanks slat's
Stopped in for the toilet and a cache!
When GreyHams discovered a great deal to relocate a motor home from Broome to Darwin, things quickly slotted into place to head out for another adventure together. Three planes and a full day of travelling later we arrived in Broome, with the most amazing orange sunset out the windows of the plane.
Plenty of time to discover a few of Broomes caches and places before collecting our wheels the following morning. It slept 6 and had all the luxuries, it was huge, climbing up into it there was no going back and off we set!
The drive was full of changing scenery. Loved the Boab trees in all their different shapes and mass numbers, termite mounds and the red earth. Wildlife lined the roads, always cattle but birds, wild horses, snakes, dingo's, pigs and even buffalo! Stunning rock formations, waterways and even many little fires it was a great drive stopping for the caches as we passed... but no crocs (sad face!)
Leaving Broome we had overnight stays in Fitzroy Crossing, Kununarra and Timber Creek, great places but the highlight being the Lazy Lizard in Timber Creek. Passing through Halls Creek, Katherine and even Kakadu among many other little towns and stops along the way added to a great trip. The van was comfortable and a novel way to travel, the caches spread out over big distances a chance to stretch the legs.
Arriving into Darwin and the van returned it was into town for a few must find caches, and to explore the town, a tad warmer than we were used to at 33C!
Many thanks to all the COs of the caches we stopped at along the way and that added to the enjoyment of the trip.

Aquilus1 & I decided at short notice to add another 'crazy' trip to our growing list of adventures. Flying from Canberra to Broome and driving a 'war rig' huge campervan from Broome to Darwin. It could sleep 6! The hire itself cost almost nothing as it was on a 'relocation' deal.
We arrived too late to pick up the bus on our first day....not surprising really as it took 3 flights to get there. The hotel we stayed at in Broome at had a "competition" on the night we arrived and several barmaids in odd clothing.... "Welcome to WA" it would seem.
After picking up the battleship, we proceeded easterly on our adventure. In three days we would see Fitzroy's Crossing, Hall's Creek, Kununurra, Timber Creek, Katherine, Pine Creek, Kakadu & Darwin, as well as a lot of road.
No crocs spotted, but we did see dingo's, water buffalo, horses, lots of birds & cows.
Favourite stop by a mile was in Pine Creek, at the Lazy Lizard. Very cool and also the cheapest!
Thanks to all the CO's for placing.

On the way to Batchelor and Litchfield we stopped for caches along the road. From old McDonald's Airfield to a bit of Mango Madness via some rest areas, travelling on the highway wasn't boring at all.
Couldn't see it anywhere from the ground. Mr Bear got up on the table, felt around, and there it was...

An 11,000km 2 month trip up north were it is a lot warmer than here, Mrs Boomajarril and I packed up the caravan, the geo-dogs, and left this 9°C weather behind for somewhere a lot warmer than here. Looked high and low and everywhere after lunch with Team Betsy for 1/2hr but it doesn't want to be found.
Spending a few days in NT(not nearly enough) soaking up the sun. TFTC slat's
Found nice and easily. The log is very full... just managed to squeeze our name along the bottom. Looks like a nice little overnight rest area. TFTC
Driving south after a beautiful time in Darwin. Had our lunch here and I was very happy to discover that something little was hidden here. TFTC
After a long drive from the devils marbles, this was where we parked up for the night and made camp.
Opening the app i was very happy to see one not ten metres away!
After a little search the hint helped and the little cache was found and somehow added my log to the scrap added to the logroll. Took ages to jam it back in there, apologies to the next finder if getting it out again's a hassle.
Definitely needs a new log, i didn't have any nano logs handy..
This was the fourth cache for yesterday, with a virtual multi and an earthcache at devils marbles and the trad at daly waters for lunch.
Thanks for placing a cache along this dusty highway.

TFTC SL At last no crowds. Have passed this cache so many times. Found your cache today. Thanks for bringing us here.
Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply driving from Timber Creek (NT) to Litchfield NP.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'slat's' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'Bridge Creek Rest Stop' and for the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .

Whenever we drive past here in dry season its always packed but today in the driest wet season on record it was very quiet. Found without too much trouble. Log was full so added a bit more paper and signed CT to save space. Thanks for this cache.
Stopped here for a kids' toilet break, and incidentally decided to check for caches. Found it easily enough after a couple of tourers left the area. TFTC.
Stopped here for lunch and as luck would have it our caravan blocked the view from the other caravan pulled up for the night. Geo husband helped this little old lady with wonky knees by bein taller! TFTC
Nice easy find with only a few muggles around. Needs a new log real soon! TFTC
Found during our honeymoon trip. Almost 1 month driving through Australian country.
It was an amazing trip.

GZ had people camped right next to it so we thought we may have a problem searching but after a chat with a young man from the Netherlands we found out he had done some caching there so he joined in for the find. He hadn't come across this type of container before so he was rapped that we made the find

Now travelling north towards Darwin after the Red Centre Experience.
Caching towards Adelaide River for ANZAC day. Of course we stopped for a few caches along the way. The list was soooo long today that we didnt finish and ended up free camping along the way and no pub dinner was had.

#7010 - 17:40; Day 18 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. Following a night in Mataranka Springs we continued enroute to Darwin after attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs refreshed after a swim to start the day. We were headed to Adelaide River to spend the night, passing through Katherine and Pine Creek The caching picked up again today after a couple of quiet ones as we covered some big distances. We managed 47 finds and 10 DNFs along with a few trig points for the day. All caches found were in good nick, including this one. TFTC slat's
Alice trip 2017. Day 16. Another day of driving, today took Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I from Mataranka to Adelaide River. Long distances with fewer caches until we arrived at Katherine. Great country along the way.
Thanks.

13455. Last find of Day 08 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. Heading North.
I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.
Last stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the camp ground to set up.

On the road to the Alice Springs Mega with LuckyL10n and Albida33. We arrived in Alice Springs to pick up fitzy_1965 to complete our group and set about the fun of attending the event.
We spent the next 5 days caching around the region enjoying the area and finding a lot of the local caches. After the event we set our sights on Darwin and started off on the next stage of our road trip.
Managed to find another few caches and had a great time doing so.
Thanks for all the caches and the fun in grabbing them.
