Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.
Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by 8th September,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 8th September). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the instructions posted above.

Thought we would have a look in case maintenance has been done. Unfortunately, we don't think so. Still burned everything and no sign of a cache.
Came back for another look for this one after today's nearby CITO, armed with some hints from previous finders. But as it shows in my attached pic i dont think a Sistema could survive the recent burn-off in this area. Found the likely GZ as described to me but every where was burnt out. CO attention needed now. Thx anyway.
In Ballarat for a Tree Planting Event and grab a few caches with Simsfamily and Neviile Devil for a day of mayhem and laughter on a surprisingly warm sunny day.
We parked about 300m away a the base of the hill and ventured up and over to GZ. We searched the area looking high and low until Neville called out those soothing words "found it"
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache PaLLa

The day started with an early morning drive up the road from Geelong with Ausfox; and Neville_devil for the nearby by Tree Planting CITO after which we decided to try and make as many smileys as possible in the general area of Enfield.
We had left the car down the hill, which is quite a hike up. After we got to the top back down again to GZ [:p]. We hunted around GZ for quite some time until we resorted to reading some log. After reading the logs we came to the conclusion we needed to widen our search. That did the trick as soon afterwards Neville_devil yelled those lovely words of "found it"
Thank you PaLLa for the cache

We found your cache New Years Valley on a weekend drive to attend a few events and grabbed this cache on the way.
Parked as close as we could with the 2WD to the south and walked up the hill. Definitely got a workout today. The cache is in good shape in a good spot.
Thanks PaLLa for the cache!

Enjoying an afternoon caching for smilies in this series after spending the morning in Buninyong, Garibaldi, the Enfield Forest serious and some of the Thanks To series.
This was going to be my last cache of the day as it was a lone spot on my map and would have been good to clear it up. But alas as all good plans go to the wayside, i searched here for way too long before calling it a day with a very unrewarding DNF. That was a long way to drive to come away empty handed but that's the way it is sometimes. Another one for the watchlist.

Happy to have reached the bottom of this valley to claim the cache on another of my calendar days. Only a short climb back out and into awaiting car parked very nearby. Took some rubbish out of the container. TFTC PaLLa.
*"Drive right up to the cache"?* I think not, at least not in my 4x4 that's for sure. We managed to drive right up to within the last 200m which we then completed on foot. My mate, exhibiting uncharacteristic skill, or more likely blind luck, managed to "fluke" finding this cache before me . . . again! Humphff! Clearly an anomaly that needs to be corrected to again restore the correct order of things.

Didn't need to search for this one as Mr. Moose had found it quickly.

Out with kenare and kenbryl on mothers day. This one had been on my radar for a fair while, so off we all went for a bit of a walk on this drizzling day. Found by kenare nice and easy. Cigc. Tftc
After lunch with the mums we headed out here to grab this one. I love hitting the puddles and mud while caching!! Tftc
Sorry for the late log, somehow I missed logging this one. Kenare and I were looking at the map and I thought it was weird that I didn't have a smiley face. I remember getting the cache. We went to Teacup capers in smythesdale for lunch because it was Mother's Day then we came here to find the cache. Tftc
Finally managed to go for this one, we have had our eye on this one for ages, each time we were able to head out for it there were always many people having fun on 2 wheels, so we didnt stop, this time it was getting late, and no one was around so we nade the detour and decide to park at the bottom and walk up, it is such a lovely area, so glad noone was around tonight. took a little while to locate GZ, GPS had us moving around, but glad it was eventually in hand, signed and replaced, all in good condition, and dry. Took nothing, left nothing, TFTC
What a hike! My car was parked at the bottom of the hills and we did our cardiovascular workout with this one.
But I'm glad we came, it was a wonderful peaceful spot, the log was in good condition, and we were very relaxed after watching the birds early on a summers morning.

Out at Enfield for a 40th so dragged the family here first for a cache. Easy find. Only 7 metres out for me. We walked down though as hubby wasn't too keen! Lol. Thanks for the cache

We were in the area picking up a new devious hide , so we thought what better way to fill in the rest of our evening, than to pick up the last 4 unfound caches in the locale.
We drove within 80 metres of GZ and legged it down the hill to the valley below. Well one half of us did(the fitter one of coarse) while the other stayed at the top and done a mini CITO.
After reading previous logs we knew to look 10 metres radius of GZ. Spotted a likely hiding spot and bingo there it was.
Cache and Log in good condition , unlike the road down into the valley.

As said by previous cache finders , this cache was 14 metre away from GZ
Still, after walking in circles for a few minutes, cache was in hand

Found today in the company of McLookers and Tomstache. Not having a 4WD we drove in and parked as close as we could and walked the last 300 metres. It was fairly steep terrain going in and you would definitely need a 4WD vehicle to access any closer. We had GZ out by about 12 metres today. But it was a fairly easy find in the second place we looked. Thanks for the hide PaLLa.
Earmarking this cache for this afternoon, we drove to within 300m of GZ with Glanville girls and Tomstache. We walked in and once we got to within GZ, Glanville girls made the find. We would agree that the cache was found approximately 10m from GZ. Tree cover could be the trouble here. Once we made it back to the car, we passed a large group of bush walkers doing a 42km walk. Luckily we made it out of the area before the heavy shower of rain. We hope the walkers were able to find some shelter. Thanks for the hide PaLLa.
Searched for a good hour and nothing, was tough to get to in the 4WD. The GPS was all over the place so we expanded our search but to no avail.
Suscoe's 11th find of 14 for today in the company of the awesome sister who joined us for a bit of fun touring the Ballarat area.
We have had this cache on the list for a few years but never have ventured in here.
Today was the day at last and we headed in, parked and walked.
An enjoyable wander and the cache was eventually located about 9 metres away from where the GPS wanted us to look.
Thanks to PaLLa for a great wander into the bush.

Well came back for a play in the 4WD now it's daylight, highly disappointed the tracks go nowhere at the top- must be motoX area. Fun but wish there was more and the trees are really tight. Thanks

Drawn to Ballarat by a New Year’s Resolution BBQ Lunch Event, posted for that quirky ‘Four-One-One–Four’ date, also gave us the opportunity to seek out a few of what for us are “orphan” caches, on the way to Lake Wendouree and later, on the way home. It was very appropriate timing to seek out this cache today, so close to its third anniversary! We are curious to find out how this secret little valley was formed. Satellites today initially had us 13m west of where we found the cache located after we had extended our search. By the time we had signed the log the GPS'r had dropped back to "0" - how strange.
Couldn't find any log entry for the last finder!
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt PaLLa.

Definitely fun place for 4WD, drove up here in dusk, didn't realize where I stopped I could drive over until my dog and I were half way down on foot! Oh well next time least she had a ball, will come back in the day for some fun! Great cache thanks
This was one of over 110 caches I found during a huge day and night of caching with my fellow cachers Trailrunning, Rebel Acts and Blacklegend (The Demolition Crew). As we all had the day free we carefully planned in advance the run and decided to call it Ballarat Smackdown II. The plan was ambitious and resulted in almost 22 hours of continual caching.
The day started in the early hours of the morning in the far eastern suburbs of Melbourne, then moving through the northern suburbs then onto and along the Western Freeway to Enfield State Forest then north up to Ballarat itself. We cached through Melton, Pykes Reservoir and Bacchus Marsh and many of the country roads north and south of the Western Freeway as we made our way west.
We had a fantastic day finding all the different types of caches and there were some quite inventive, very tricky and well constructed hides that we found. I thank all the cache owners for the time and effort they have spent in placing all the caches we found today.

Another legendary cache run by The Demolition Crew (myself, TrailRunning, Quasar3671 and Rebel Acts). We have dubbed it Ballarat Smackdown II. This was a huge run taking us all the way from near Cardinia, via the northern suburbs of Melbourne, to Bacchus Marsh and Melton and finally Ballarat. A massive loop, and over 100 caches for the run. The company was as always fantastic, a lot of laughs, good dinner, and great caches. Many thanks to all the CO's for the hides, without them we wouldn't have been able to find anything.
A lot of fun being had in the area, great location. TFTC.

This was, cache # 63 of 117 finds for the day in the company of The Demolition Crew. Nice location for cache. My thanks to PaLLa for the cache.
This cache was found by me today in the company of The Demolition Crew.
While I strive to make my logs personal to every cache, I have far too many logs to do, that I apologise in this instance for using a generic log. I thank you for the placement of this cache as it was one of many that made up a great day for me and the crew..
The Day's Blurb...
The annual holidays is always a great time to relax and take it easy, but not today. The Demolition Crew had decided that after such a long break from caching together that we would start the year off with a bang! So the planning minds were put into operation, and Ballarat Smackdown II was conceived.
The smackdown started along way from Ballarat, in fact in the hills around Cardinia Reservoir and from there is was a push across the northern suburbs of Melbourne through Melton & Bacchus Marsh. It being such a hot day, the waters of Pykes Creek Reservoir cooled and refreshed us, and we were soon off to start on the Ballarat caches.
Since our first Smackdown in the area, many new caches have popped up, so it was a fruitful run which ended well into the early morning. A couple of caches were replaced as a way of saying thanks to those who took the time to place them, and I think in the end my tally was well over 100 for the run.
It was a completely awesome day, and I thank you for placing the cache. We will return to the Ballarat area soon as there are still a number of caches we left undiscovered.

We debated doing this one a month or so ago, but we had just completed Slippin' and didn't fancy another one like that, so we skipped it. Coming back through today we decided to give it a go. We got as far as we could and then walked the rest of the way. A good walk to get the heart pumping, then a quick find at GZ. Thanks for the cache.
this was a great spot and a nice day out for a walk / little runing to gz tftc
Nice place - bit of a shame about the litter though. You think peple who could be bothered coming here could pick up their cans. Easy drive to within about 300mtrs.
The steep bit looked very greasy during the rain so didn't try it.
GZ a little bit off but easy to spot. TFTC.

This one has been on the books for far too long, we where even considering heading out for the FTF for this one almost two years ago, and we've been slack ever since. The nice whether gave us the excuse we needed today to pop out and collect this one. The co-ords had us about 10 metres out, however through reading the logs we were aware of this and found this one in the first place I looked.
TNLN SL Thanks PaLLa for the cache.
TNLN SL Thanks PaLLa for the cache.
No way my 2WD was going to get up even the first part of the hill, but no problems with that as the cache was only a short walk in from the forest ring road. The find was a bit tough, my GPS said the coords were 7 metres away while I was standing next to the cache. You only need to check the bases of the few trees nearby and you'll end up finding the cache, so no biggie.
I knew that this was really a 4wd cache, and as I don't have 4x4 I thought I'd come out on the push bike. Parked the car in a convenient side spot and rode the last couple of km's in. As it happened I could have easily driven in as close as 500m or less.
Took me a few minutes to find the cache, for a minute I was worried it might be gone. Happily it's well hidden in what cachers would see as the most likely spot, even if the co-ords are a few meters away. Probably due to the trees and valley.
I smiled at the gate at the top of the hill. There's sign on it asking you to keep it closed, but almost no fence on either side. I walked around it to see what the view was like, only to find myself standing in the backyard of a smart looking house.
Thanks for bringing me here.

After getting twenty six smiley faces in Ballarat last weekend and attending the very successful event it was back again to first of all to pass the 1000 mark and add another forty odd caches to the list.
My driver today enjoyed the challenge of these forest caches and the big cruiser made short work of these tracks. This cache was found at 08.15 and the log was duly signed and we were off to the next.
Thanks PaLLa for placing a cache out here.
Found while on a caching day with Bushfire as bush finds are fun with the 4wd - thanks PaLLa
Heading in toward GZ, a nearby resident thought we were lost and was willing to tell us where to go....to find our way out. He was assured we weren't lost and we continued on our merry way. The patrol was parked and sully1 and I walked the last 150 metres in to GZ. After a short search of the area the cache was found and logged. TFTC
On a days caching with micaparamedic, we were spotted by a neighbour on the road in, who expected us to be lost, and kindly offered to tell us how to find our way out!! We thanked him, and assured him we knew what we were there for!! We pulled off to the road a little way down and took the last 150 odd metres by foot. Oregon was a little fuzzy on arrival at GZ, but after a brief search, the cache was retrieved, logged and returned with no swaps being made. Thanks to PaLLa for the cache.
A nice drive on a Sunday led us to this cache, a bit of 4WD was had and a cache found, a pleasant afternoon.
GeoBen was most amused by flypaper strip, first he had seen. !

Another enjoyable jaunt through the bush! Could probably have gotten the Subi in to this one but decided I needed a walk and so, parked short and strolled in. The satellites gave me the run around for a while but the cache was located after a bit of a search. Cute logbook!! No swaps. Many thanks PaLLa for introducing me to another new area.
Found the cache after the usual challenges of gps use in a valley! Great spot for a cache, much to live up to now if you continue to place caches! TFTC
3rd of 3 FTFs for the morning.
A fantastic location, especially since we brought out the Team 2Dudez Triton to explore the area.
The iphone app decided were were 8.45km from GZ once we got into the valley. Luckily Troy had his old GPS in the use and it told us we were parked about 5 metres from it.
It turns out he was right.
Took FTF certificate and signed log. (Loved the logbook, very nice)
No swaps made, wish I had remembered by cache bag before I ran out the door.
Thanks PaLLa for a well stocked container in a 4wd'ers heaven.
We filmed a bit Troys driving efforts, might post a link to youtube if there is any footage left, once the expletives have been edited out
EDIT: Here is our 4WD (mis)Adventures http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFljjG5TwW0
PS
Cache container is fine for the summer, as it won't get any direct rain. The glad wrap seal under the lid was already cut by the lid so won't be much help in winter.
The main thing you will have to be careful of with this container is that in the colder months, condensation will creep into the container and wet everything. (Good thinking with the ziplock bags).
Sistema make a pasta container with about the same dimensions that has a clip top lid and a rubber gasket which will help avoid the condensation.
Or, Army Disposals in the Bridge Mall usually have ammo cans for around $10 which will survive the elements for years.
