Interesting! But no cigar. I think I found the snap lock bag but no cache container or log. No Munzie either. I didn't want to trample round the grass as it is a conservation area. Tftc. Hmm ... No mouth ...
No sign of a cache on / near the sign which is where I figured it should be based on previous logs and hint? I could be wrong...
Another glorious day for caching in Canberra. We parked nearby and walked to the GZ. An easy find once there. Thanks M Family for this hide.
Last Day We go home and drop my friend to Bus stop... We are enjoy geocaching today.. Beautiful day today.. thank...
Very easy very quick finding on my way dropped off at bus stop back home. Thanks, All7. Xx
Spotted from a distance with Elektra48 and an informed muggle friend who did the honors for us! TFTC
Found with annieg27 and a muggle friend after a disappointing search for other nearby caches. Tftc!
Accompanied with everlasting for the day, we enjoyed walk . Signed the log. TFTC
Found this one walking home from work (when I got out early enough to still have some daylight!).
TFTC!

Chalk this one up to cache radar. I've worked around this sign for ages (and sometimes reflected on similarities between a day at the office and the moth Who Has No Mouth And Yet Must Scream). Was taking to a muggle mate about caching; she said 'what do you mean?' and I said 'there's probably one just over there', and sure enough, there was
Cache log is getting pretty full. Surprised to see it's lasted as long as it has - well done. If you'd like to have it camo'd I'd be happy to help as I'm close by. TFTC!

Not sure why we haven't picked this one up sooner, a very interesting little sanctuary in the heart of parliament. Love seeing a log with plenty of names on it, TFTC
What looks like waste land obviously has a very important role to play. Thanks for the information and the cache M Family
I have to say this was the - ha ha - easiest 'multi' cache I have done. Found during a pleasant afternoon's cycle ride. The autumn trees are looking lovely. TFTC.
Thanks M-Family, certainly didn't take 2 days to find this GSM!! Eloise @ The Plaza
interesting facts, caching with Baja15, had to wait for the juggle to leave, a quick find and off to the next hunt. TFTC
I enjoyed another cache roundup with J+J.au. This one gave us some interesting information. SL..TFTC
First log for 2014! This one hasn't been found in a little while as a spider had happily woven his home all around the cache! None too happy was hew hen I removed it! TFTC!
Interesting creatures, and interesting to see an area like this bang in the middle of the city. Coming at the weekend means no stealth is required.
easy nab, quite exposed but i'm sure not alot of muggles think to walk back here. such interesting creatures, too bad they dont last too long.
Geomission Weekend with specimenX - Day 2
After a big mission last night, I decided to invite specimenX on another Geomission today but this time, we decided to hit some multis in the civic area.
This one was found VERY quickly. We left the geomobile at the last cache location and we went for a wander to get this one. As specimenX was reading the information on the board, I went for a circle and spotted the cache immediately. I am very surprised this one hasn't been muggled !!!!
Logging duties completed and off to the next one we go
Thanks for this nice cache M_Family

Found with Rapidlywild as we were gallivanting around the southern suburbs again on another one of our geomissions
Next stop on our evening of caching fun and frivolity was this one. We had just found another cache close by so decided to swing by this one to give it a go. As we were walking to WP1, we were wondering why such a big block was left vacant considering its proximity to all of the other buildings nearby. When we arrived we soon discovered the reason why-cool! Great to see areas like this are preserved like this.
Anyway, after reading the description we made the surprise but easy nab, before heading off for more fun for the night
Thanks for the insight into this spot and for the cache, M Family!

Geocache #530.
Found on Saturday, 7th September 2013 at 8:33 PM.
Conditions: clear.
Current streak #38 days.
Today's finds 4 of 10.
My 429th find for The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition 2013. With just over a week of the competition remaining, I had some leave owing and decided to take it for a geo-adventure in the Australian Capital Territory and Canberra. What a way to celebrate Canberra's centenary, as well as the Federal election!
After checking into my hotel, I went for a drive to pick up a few more caches before calling it a night to get ready for an early start in the morning. Interesting read on the golden sun moth and studying the sign acted as a good decoy to minimise the attention from the people across the road in their cars. The find was quick and I signed the log, however, the Munzee is loose and could fly away like the moth (CO may wish to check on it). TFTC M_Family.

Thanks M Family - my August streak motivation is draining - this was my lifeline cache when it all got to hard (close to where I work). Yesterdays seek for a cache was too hard so this easy one was appreciated. TFTC,
#791 - 13:35; A quick lunch time find with Canberrachick, Black Mumba 23 and Alex from Alex&Julie. We had a meeting across the road and with a short lunch break, it was across the street and a really quick find before heading off for the others to find another nearby cache I logged last time I was in the area. TFTC M Family
Found with womble1958 on a beautiful winters afternoon. Wow!!! What an amazing location and story. The difference in the colours of the wings is truly amazing.
Thanks for the hunt and the cache. It gets a favourite from me.

Walked from my motel nearby while wife was having a afternoon nap. Cache in good condition. TFTC
Found 3:26pm , find # 2208
Spent our last day in Canberra cachng in the rain, mainly around the Weston Park area and Yarralumla, picking up a few around the Barton area in the afternoon.
The rain limited us quite a bit, but this was find number 12 of 13 for the day, which also included a fair bit of shopping.
After returning home with some shopping, I went out again and found this one, brazenly but seemingly discreetly hidden. Enjoyed reading the sign.
Thanks M_Family.

A quick "drive-by" on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The sun was shining, and it was a perfect afternoon to go out and collect a few caches.
Thanks for bringing us to this plaque/sign.

Grabbed this one on an early morning wander from the hotel. Did see a redback spider though!
Found while caching around Canberra on extended weekend in the Nation's Capital.

15:00 Considering the exposure of GZ it shows how this is almost a "hidden in plain sight" cache. TFTC
Greetings from USA! Walked past the sign on my way to another cache and laughed at myself when I realized it. Found it on a sunny, breezy morning. Thanks for the info about the moths...had no idea
1706. An interesting specimen indeed and a quick find after the entomology lesson. TFTC.
Found while over this side of town. This park has some very long grass. Glad I didn't have to go in there. TFTC

I was other this was to get a ultrasound on my foot I thought I would attempt this one but almost looked it over when I saw it was a multi I'm not sure if its temporary if not perhaps a reviewer note to get them to change it to a Trad.
Parking a big problem depending when you go but in hind site I could have parked closer and taken the risk but I did see a inspector jsut up the road so found a spot on the otherside of the building. short walk and quick find, interesting to know and thanks

A nice quick and easy find.
Cheers & TFTC

Just across the road from where we were staying for this years Engineering Awards. Surprised to find this one still there given how visible it is from a lot of directions. TFTC.
We have been away buying a house at the Sunshine Coast, so now that we are back in Canberra we thought we had better find as many Canberra caches as we can before we move to QLD! We had to park around the corner and walk around to GZ. Once there it was a very quick find. TNLNSL TFTC
I thought it would be a relatively muggle free zone - a nearby protest put paid to that!
Replaced damaged plastic bag.

Wow - surprised it doesn't get muggled! I was in town for work and this was right across from where I stayed. I could not let this cache past! SN, TFTC. Just started this, so this is my first cache outside Melbourne. Yay!
Quick easy find while waiting for someone across the road even in the dark. TFTC Claire & Benny <3
Yep stands out, but its still there. Remember going past this a long time ago (as a multi), but only got there today. Thanks.
Quick find. I tried earlier this wk but there were too many muggles. The moth has no mouth pieces....might have something to do with it being endangered :p TFTC
Quick easy find, tried to drop a TB but to no avail, container too small.

Thanks for bringing me here! I had no idea a moth could be this interesting! No muggles around today so it was a quick grab, sign, scan of the neighbouring Munzee, and I was on my way. TFTC!
One of the easiest multis that I've done in ages
While I was there I read all about the Sun Moth in question. A lovely quiet day for caching in this area.
Thanks M Family

After making missing a turn of Parliament Drive on way to Red Hill for an early morning hillside cache, I made a quick decison to come here instead. Parked in the valet section across the road which was kind of fuin in itself. Sauntered across the road to make the find and read the sign. Lots of well dressed muggles wandering past, so had to pick the moments to take and return. Was also delighted to find a Munzee here too so grabbed that also.
Walked away grinning as always happy that our streak spans across the month of May. thanks M Family for the great cache.

Nice easy one thanks for increasing my knowledge. Found whilst conducting a course in a nearby introduced some muggles to the game TFTC
This one has been on the radar for some time but I just never seemed to get here. Well today I did and the cache was quickly in hand. Thanks!
We were released for lunch between corporate speeches, so I literally popped across the road for a cache.
I'm amazed it doesn't get muggled, as it's clearly visible from some distance, but obviously people coming from that angle don't bother looking.
Interesting to read about the moth.
Thanks.

One of those Canberra autumn afternoons which are gloriously clear and then the temperature suddenly plummets just before dark.
Quick, easy find just a short walk from accomodation.
Bit surprising just how undisguised the cache was, but the information sign was fascinating.
Amazing to see how much new development's been done in this precinct in recent years. Used to be not much here except the Press Club.

Checked the weather.. 7 degrees Celsius.. Cold, but decided to give it a shot nonetheless.. Went down from our apartment with a muggle friend, and thanks to the wonders of a torchlight, found the logical hide easily.. SL, TNLN, TFTC!!

Picked this one up after finding the nearby Exhibition cache. Easy find given the options available at the location. Had to do my best nonchalance act to avoid arousing the suspicions of nearby muggles. Thankfully the cache container was something that didn't look out of place to have in your hand.
Found ourselves with a bit of time before work so decided to grab some caches before work. This one we knew would be busy if we waited too long so an early morning find would be called for. A quick find was had before the locals started to turn up for work.
Thanks for the cache M Family

Found with Black Bunny on an early morning run into work. This one has always been busy when we have gone past but today, no such problems.

Just in town for the day, and was dropped off just around the corner for a visit to the Press Club, but had time to spare before lunch so grabbed a couple of nearby caches, this being the first...
Without this sign (and caching to encourage me to read it!) this would just look like some oddly undeveloped site which would have had me wondering why they left such a neglected piece of land in a prime real estate area!! But now I know better, and it's great to see conservation having the final say in this part of town.
As for the find, well, quick and easy!! TFTC.
