A nice sunny day so perfect weather to be out and about in the Adelaide Hills and of course picking up some geocaches along the way. The stash at posted coordinates was found without problems. Then it was a walk along the quite overgrown track. I stopped to read the plaque en route to GZ. My search at GZ was long. Lots of potential hiding spots and my phone GPS took ages to settle. Eventually I spotted the cache when I oriented my head in the correct direction. Thank you Cruiz-n, for placing JO-MA-GE-KA for the geocaching community.# # #15109 # #
TFTC. Lovely bush walk Didn't find the correct track until we made the return journey Pretty 3 to 4 ft white flowers lined both sides of the track for most of the way. Heading back this way we saw where we had taken the wrong direction causing us to bush bash our way there.Needed to stay high right NOT low leftLog signed
I have had this multi on my to do list for a long time, today I stopped and grabbed the info then it was a nice walk along a rather overgrown trail to GZ, I arrived and the search began I looked in all the wrong places till I finally found the cache nicely tucked away, TB dropped too.Today with an event in the hills, I headed out for a half days walking plus a few others yet to be found in the area. With the weather being mild for a summers day it made for a great day out. Thanks for the cache
Went up here with naughtybunny as I hadn't done it and she had a few months ago. Surprised it hadn't been found in a few months. Got the required co-ords and off we went to GZ. An amazing patch of scrub and you should be proud your family donated this area for conservation. Finally got to GZ by torchlight, found the cache and logged it. TNLN. Cheers.
I was really looking forward to this one on a caching trip with Muggle Mum. We both like wildflowers and wandering through nice scrub. This is a really, really nice spot! It's a bit too early for many of the more common Native Orchids, so I'll be back in a month or so. After all the rainfall this area has had, they should be speccy.
But to the cache...
What a bugger to find! I note that it's been unfound for 523 days, in which time a lot of debris has accumulted at GZ. The next finders can rest assured that there is now a clear path to the actual spot they need!
TFTC Cruiz-n, and thanks to your family for their generosity in allowing others to enjoy this area.

The first cache of the year for me, and what a perfect choice to start the year off. This one is not too far from home for me, but I’ve never been up Leslie Rd before.
The geocaching.com map suggests that the track ends 200m short of the cache, but this is incorrect - there is an easy, and fairly level trail all the the way to GZ. Great views to the north east. I didn’t see any wildlife today but I’m sure they are there.
What a fantastic gesture by your four relatives Cruiz-n, you must be very proud. Thanks for showing us what they have achieved by placing this cache. A big FP from me for this one.

Found out with Beary Organised as tempt to try to climb the next Mountain to receive our Souvenir. Great view from here also. TFTC TNLNSL
Found this with CherryRose after a nice walk keeping an eye out for snakes . None were seen. Lots of butterflies and pretty flowers. TFTC TNLNSL Cache has no clips left on container.
Tftc! Took a bit of hunting but finally got there! Spent too long on the wrong horizontal ??
After parking the car, we headed off to WP1 where the required information was located quite quickly. Then, as he headed off to GZ, it started to hail - thankfully that stopped quickly and we continued along our pleasant walk. Once near GZ, accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Cruiz-n for this cache and for bringing us to this lovely area.
Took a few minutes to find WP1. Nice presentation. The path narrowed and it felt very pleasant. Such a beautiful park, thanks for sharing it with us.
I did circles at GZ which was necessary to catch a glance at just the right angle. Cache in good condition despite 3 wings missing.
Thanks for the cache and the ongoing maintenance. FP4U

Spent a while looking around in the wrong spot, was about to give up but found it walking back. Good find
Had a lovely walk with TT016, PrincessAria1 & LittleGoosE along the track to GZ...
Found quickly...

A nice walk on this lovingly preserved spot of nature.
Kangaroos watched from the distance, some welcome rain fell.

I started this multi last year. I got the co ords at wp1 when i was on a fatigue break. By the time i walked there and a not so quick find using my phone i didn't have time to walk to the final. It's taken me nearly a year to get back to this one. found on route to the Welcome TDU Cachers 2019 event. Took the bush walk to the final today. The track seems to disappear about 3/4 the way there and had bush bash the last of the way. At gz my phone wouldn't settle ( teach me to forget my gps ). I just ended up looking around a 15 meter area using the clue. first finder of 2019. Would have been a nicer walk if it hadn't been 37 degrees.
A really enjoyable bush walk. TFTC.
Took me awhile to find the initial info. Had to rely more on the hint as my gps was a way off. But it is definitely still there.
A bit of bush bashing was required approaching gz as the path became less clear. Definitely a higher terrain rating for me at least.
Again my gps was off at gz, so a bit of a search was required. But got there in the end

Took my mom for a drive in the hills so decided to tackle his one as its been on my to do list for ages. What a great park!! As I didn't want to leave her in the car for long I did this at speed. Thanks for the adventure.... A favourite
What a gem of a park, nicely tucked away, enjoyed the stroll in the park found our way on a degraded track which resembled more of a kangaroo track, the best kind in our books, took a while to search this one out, it was a second look in a spot we checked earlier that revealled the cache. Nice location TFTC Criz-n
A visit today by a snake and a rat with a previous finder (an owl) .We found this harder than expected and harder than the previous finder seemed to remember. We were directed to WP1 which we understood was a particular structure however it seems to have changed according to the previous finder so no Information was available. Fortunately the previous finder had the final co ords so they were put in to our GPSr. Not quite the pleasant walk for us today. The last finder reports the trail to be somewhat overgrown, we on the other hand found it nearly impossible to find. A few guesses as to what direction we needed to head lead us to what seemed to have been the pathway but maybe not. We fought our way through the bush to GZ and widening our search the snake made the find. This definitely was more than a 1 1/2 Terrain. More like a 3 at least if not a 4. It very much looks like this once pleasant reserve has been let go and abandoned which is a shame. Never the less a cache was found and a smiley recorded. TFTC

What a stunning day to be out and about [^] Brodie and I thoroughly enjoyed our day although he was absolutely dog tired [)] by the time we headed home.
First stop, the Finska champs 2016 event , a FTF cache find during the event thanks to muggle partner [:X] and then following the fun afternoon of wooden pin tossing some caching in the cooler Adelaide Hills on the roundabout way home
Even in the cooler hills the walk for a multi had Brodie panting so much that I wondered if he would actually make it back to Harry[?]
Thankfully he did [^]
1 awesomely great event attended and 5 cache finds for the afternoon made for a lovely day [^]
What a gorgeous place! Thoroughly enjoyed our wander in here although it did take a while for me to find WP1 as my GPSr kept taking me from one spot to another and I do have duck's disease
Knowing where to head, we took off and enjoyed our cool wander through this gorgeous area
The odd fallen bush or tree created small diversions and the flowers kept me captivated the whole time, although some were closing up already pending night fall.
At times, the track was a tad hard to see especially towards GZ but the GPSr kept us going in the right direction[^]
The cache was an easy find and all components of this multi are in good condition
Thanks for a great cache [^]

We really enjoyed this one a lot. The youngest member of our team (the cub) grew up and was working at a nearby wine production facility and this was one of the closest caches on our way to visit him. Really appreciated the ability to walk this ground. We heard kookaburras and got a nice photo of a parrot high in the trees. Well worth a visit for visitors to the region. Thanks, a gem and a favorite!!
Great site here, nice bush walk. Saw a room and her joey, took the TB to move it on. Our first puzzle cache
Fun to find, but found it hard following the track. Also left something in the cache to remember the ww2 fallen.
It helps to read the description! It took Earthlight and Owl a little while to find WP1, but they then had a delightful walk to the final GZ. After much circling around, they finally read the instructions and located GZ and the cache. An unexpected pleasure, with monarch butterflies, wildflowers and wonderful views. Thanks for the cache and thanks to your family for the gift.
Definately my favourite cache find for the day.
Took a short while to locate waypoint 1.
Enjoyed a great walk and loved the scenery.
An easy find with Dr Owl.

Mr & Mrs M-SEZ decided to go for a nice drive through the hills on this freezing cold morning and couldn't resist grabbing a cache along the way. This multi looked interesting so off we went. Mrs M-SEZ found WP1 straight away and then we were off. A nice quick find once at GZ. Took the TB to drop at Mt Barker. TFTC
After being unable to get harvest cache due to a community event I went to the closest cache I hadn't done.....this one. And boy am I glad I did Who would have guessed that this just wasn't the shed for a farm. Re read the description just in case. In I wandered and found the sign that I was indeed where I should be. Quick search around and I soon had the cleverly hidden WP1 and the final coords. It was getting late and the sun had set but there was still plenty of light so I decided a nice walk in the eucalypt forest would do me good. Found the plaque and went to GZ. Had a bit of a hunt but as I was a bit out at WP1 and under a tree canopy I just kept widening the circle and looking where I would hide a cache until the prize was in hand. Had a sit and couldn't beleive I was the first for this year. This is a truly good cache. Swapped a travel bug for the geocoin that I have see before but as it has been here 4 months time to get it going again. Left my pathtag and a fav point. This is a beauty. Thanks Cruiz-n.
Stopped at 1st wp ages ago, but didnt venture into the park.
This morning I did on way to work. What serenity, nice spot away from everything!
Left Sputnik geocoin

A great stroll through the bush after a trip to Lenswood Harvest Fair. An easy find by Splintersight. Dan in the Den who also accompanied us, wanted to set up camp and stay the night!! Thanks Cruiz-n.
Really enjoyed the walk through the woods with the Windy Archers and my brother. He made the find and I had great fun shifting logs around!
Was up in the Lobethal area for the 11-11-11 Event - GC2YQYV - 'Come Rember with Me. Grabbed a few caches on the way up and the way home.
Fought through the grass hoping there were no 'Joe Blakes' as I had already seen some today. TFTC.

Didn't plan on doing this one, but I was driving past so I thought I'd read the details. Looked easy enough so I wandered in.
This would have to be one of my favourite types of caches. An easy multi, an "unknown" park that doesn't get many visits. Beautiful unspoiled bushland, and at this time of the year, many, many wildflowers of different types were out. Saw quite a few orchids, and tried not to step on many as they were on the path!
Thanks so much for placing a cache here, and to your family to donating the land to the National Trust.

Popped out for a lunch time caching run.
Took the nice walk and made the find.
Took the TB to continue on it's way.
Cheers and happy caching.

Another of those hidden treasures that we would not have known about if we hadn't been caching. A lovely stroll in though the bush that we really enjoyed.

Like other cachers we had difficulty getting a consistent and reliable reading at WP1.
However in the end the hint was a great help.
On a beautiful Autumn day we thoroughly enjoyed the walk to GZ.

Thanks to JO-MA-GE-KA for the cache and walk, and special thanks to the Wicks family for donating this beautiful piece of scrub.

Some inaccuracy in the starting coords had us set off for the wrong place, but it was the presence of a dropbear + baby that made us look in the right spot . For the record, the coords were fine by this time. A jog down the track by Mr O, followed by a short search, had the cache found. TFTC, last multi for the day.
Our last for the day and interesting that we had a DavMal60 cache as the next on the list, particularly after meeting him this morning in Forreston .
Had a wet walk in, so appreciated not having to open the container to get the co-ords for GZ [8].
This is an excellent area for preservation [^]. The wild flowers are in bloom and looking great, so now is the right time to visit .
Took telescope. Left Jeep TB. SL.

Crappy weather, a new toy to play with and a wood-turning course have all kept me away from caching for almost two weeks. But cabin fever got the better of us this weekend and we decided to go looking for some of the caches we like the best – Ones like this one that get us out in the bush walking [^].
JO-MA-GE-KA have given us all a wonderful gift in this great bit of scrub that would have gone completely unnoticed if not for caching (I wonder how many human eyes other than those of geocachers have ever gazed upon that plaque?? ).
GZ was a little off, and we had to search a bit to find it. In the end it was in the spot that I guessed would be the likely one as we approached the area [^]. Made no swaps, but did grab the two geocoins in there to move them along.
Thanks for a great cache, guys, loved it .

A lovely park that was a gem of a cache to cache. It's nice that people can donate these amounts of land these days. The shed had the back door opened and I peeked inside. A nice spot for an event!!
Thanx to DavMal60 and the rellies - clear skies from TeamAstro.
Lovely stroll on a beautiful day. The bush was very pleasant after an earlier slog over some testing terrain. Lots of birds and flowers. No skippies today.
It was a beautiful morning for a walk in the bush this morning and I thoroughly enjoyed this one [^]
Did take me a while to find both locations, but then I was in no hurry!
Grabbed the geocoin from cache to move it along and left some 'lucky' coins behind.
Thanks for this cache DavMal60, these are my favorite types of caches. Those that take you to lovely areas that you otherwise would probably never know about.

We are disappointed to have to say we couldn't find this cache. It would have been very fitting, as we had just come from the funeral of a friend who used to own a very nearby (if not adjoining) orchard property. He also had a beloved patch of scrub, where he loved to wander among the native orchids and such. He was passionate about keeping nature in balance, and used extremely minimal sprays on his orchard. In fact, at his funeral, it was mentioned how he had shown someone a tiny orchid, and also a tiny wasp which pollinated the orchid. He explained how one could not do without the other, and that each depended upon the other for its survival.
Sat loc was a bit hopeless today due to the humidity, however we looked around quite a wide area in possible hiding places. Might have been easier to find had it been a larger size, it certainly would be unlikely to get muggled here. Thanks anyway for showing us this spot we would never have stopped at otherwise. Perhaps we may return another day.

We didn't know it at the time that we were following Squizzie to the cache. This was a really nice park to visit. Bronze to BantamCT. TFTC!
Really enjoyed the walk through this park with BantamCT. Also nice to meet Squizzie and chat about caching for a while. Silver place on the podium for Featherwaite. Dropped off Wyoming Geocoin. Thanks for a great cache DavMal60.
FTF in a lovely native forest/reserve, with tall trees, ferns and wild flowers. Really enjoyed the walk to the cache.
The paths are not defined very well and a bit overgrown, and on my way back i wandered away and found another way back to my car. There was another car close to mine and man and his daughter soon appeared. We soon discovered we were all cachers. It was great to meet FeatherWaite & BantamCT and have a chat. Thanks DavMal60 great cache & thanks for sharing this area with us.
