We are two Australian teams (Liz and Bruce and The Drovers) who are on a mega road trip of some of the great States of the USA. Our travels over the next couple of days are taking us through South Dakota, Minnesota and Nebraska and Colorado. Nice work. Thanks to billandlinda for its placement and adding to our enjoyment of this location.
USA road trip 2015, traveling with Liz and Bruce. Week 6, day 7.
Drove from Grand Island to Colorado Springs, stopping along the way to pick up a few caches.
Most caches were found after a short search, some were a little tricky.
Many thanks for placing this cache, billandlinda, for us and others to find.

Glad Another cacher had said it was a pipe instead of a bison tube and that it was off about 25 feet or we would probably still be looking! Good hide! Tftc
Day One of our Five Day/Five States Geocaching Adventure.
The main objective of this geo-adventure was to find Mingo, the oldest cache in Kansas. We were still half asleep when we arrived at the Spokane airport for our 6 a.m. flight to Denver - but our early start meant that we were in Denver by 9 a.m. local time. After picking up the rental car and a quick stop at WalMart we headed for Kansas. Once on the I-70 we managed to drive for about half an hour before Mrs. Pirate started getting that traumatized look that happens when she has to pass by perfectly good caches so we agreed to take a quick detour to find one quick run of caches, and then it was back on track. We arrived in Colby earlier than we had expected which meant we had plenty of time to visit "Mingo" and then return to Colby and enjoy a quick geo-tour of the town.
Thanks for the cache.

Took me about five trips around the tree, then I spotted it. Nice hide, tricky! (6480)
TFTC! Finally found this one on the second visit! Circled round and round, then finally looked at a little below eye level and saw it! Little trouble getting the lid loose, and ya need tweezers or something to get the log out, but a great cache! Thanks a lot!
Round and round we went...could not find. Was pretty chilly, so didn't take a whole lot of time to look. Guess we'll try again next time we are in Colby...
Out with ShamRider. this one was at eye level for a shot person. Thank you for the hunt
I hate trees. No, I don't really hate trees. I hate digging in tree branches that do no like me and try to put me slowly to death by scratching me. And I especially dislike trees with caches in them that I can't find.
EstesLynne and I looked and looked. We broke our flexible five minute rule. We even started to drive out of the parking lot and then came back for more punishment from the tree, first by standing back and waiting for the cache to leap out into our waiting arms in gratitude for not having been deserted.
That. Did. Not. Happen.
We even made another stab, actually the tree made another stab at us, at entering its dark interior in search of the elusive cache.
That. Did. Not. Happen. Either.
We know that it is in there somewhere waiting to be found by someone with a sharper eye and impervious to poking branches. As we drove away, I swear I could hear a chuckle......

US12. It has been a while since I have done a car park cache. It is nice to be able to keep my hand in. Thanks
