Interesting container. Stopped by on the way to Mojave National Preserve for a hiking trip. SL. Dropped off a small yellow squashed glass marble. TFTH!!

Having just finished walking the shield portion of the "Route 66" cache series, Réd, Kelsoboom and I appreciated just being able to drive up to an easy cache while we recovering for another little push later on. TFTC
Kelsoboom, Marzenbac and I got a hall pass from the girls, and did our first road trip to celebrate Kelsoboom's 2000th cache at, appropriately Kelso Dunes.
Marz and Réd got an early start and hit caches on the way Friday afternoon.
The boys met up in Barstow, ate dinner at Denny’s, spent the night in Yermo, grabbed breakfast at the diner, and traversed I-40 to the route 66 geoart project first thing Sat am.
We were good citizens and hiked the entire shield in mid 70’s temps. Started to drag a bit at the end, but it was all good. Finished faster than anticipated, then went to lunch at Kelso, and then the dunes for Kelsoboom’s 2000th.
Thank you very much Ginny and the Cat for a well thoughtout and fun walk in the Mojave. We’ll be back to finish when it gets COOLER!

Holiday power cache run! We came here exactly a year ago to start the series, today we finished! Thanks to all that placed and maintain this series. All quick grabs even when we got punchy near the end! 
My sons and I left from the Yuma Mega Event and headed up to Barstow to do the Route 66 and other caches together. We got it done in a day and a half or so. Nice time to spend with them and we thank you for the placement of your caches. Along with our skipandjesie, my sons Cable Cache 1, and CableCache made a stamp for all caches we did.
Caching along the way as we head south. This morning we finished the Route 66 GeoArt. A special thanks to all the cache owners that make this hobby possible. Thanks for the fun, caches and hides. All logs marked with a circled "GB".

Found this on our way to the Route 66 Shield out in the middle of nowhere. TFTC!
This cache we found on our trip through the south western part of the USA 
. Heading North towards Las Vegas we grabbed a few caches along the way 
. This was a quick one .

US12. After the Route 66 run it was time to collect the caches along the freeway on the way back to Barstow. A bit of a remote track here, and almost too far for out car. Thanks.

Took the mighy Van along the service road phew it made it no problems, and liked the cache lol, nice to get off the highway

This is our second day after managing about 600+ caches yesterday.
After many months waiting we are finally here, we where fortunately enough to meet the cache owners at an event, but even more fortunate to have mild weather.
We completed the series plus a few side caches in about two days and loved it

First fall, now spring, quite a change in seasons in a few minutes! Thanks for the caches along this Mojave route.
What are all the workers doing out here. They were curious, watched us, but waved and we went on about our business. Found the cache on the ground, and hung it back up. TFTC TNLNSL
The pump was pumping away while we found this. We made sure we didnt loiter as it is against the law. TFTC.
