I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi Gadget-tron
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Walked all around, could not find sadly [;(]
Amazing views from here, so took some pictures

Great weather today, time for a liitle tour together with thegreatauk about noon time. We made our way to Beachlands and could find some nice Caches!
Unfortunately a DNF here. Found two good places but Nothing there...
Thanks for hiding!

On an early morning caching mission, 2 of the clan hatched a plan to make an early morning trip north and to find enough caches to qualify for the Planetary Pursuit. Careful planning was made and we had a very enjoyable hunting out the caches. Thanks also go out to all the cache owners who have placed and maintained the caches.
Bit of searching but find in the end should have concentrated more on the view
This cache was actually found in Jan of this year when I was last out this way but only realised today when it appeared on my map that it hadn't been logged. Sorry about the lateness!!
No worries finding this one, emptied out the water while I was there. Pleased I parked down the hill as the pull in at the top has subsided. TFTC
Out caching in the area with jard and supernannny, the view was not as good as it could be, a bit grey.
After a clamber up the bank with urbangypsy and supernanny, it was a quick find but the views of Auckland where disrupted with low cloud and drizzle. TFTC
Another extra roadside treasure on our way to the main event....Maraetai !
By the time I climbed the hill, jard already had the good sized container found and opened !
Thanks !

We drive past this one all the time but it is usually too busy to pull over however today was a little quieter and we decided to give it a go.
We pulled over as far off the road as we could and made a quick find after scrambling up the bank. After signing the log we enjoyed the fantastic view.
Thanks for bringing us here, it was well worth the effort.

I received a phone call about 2pm asking what I was doing in the evening. I said nothing, so the boys said "come caching!" So we did, leving Hamilton at 7pm to spend the evening picking up caches. This was my No45 of the evening. All logs signed RICH.
Locating this one at 4:10am, which no sleep raised the difficulty level. My brain has definately stopped working. Stepped into a hole and had to work out how to extracate myself. Glad I'm not the one driving! Luckily one of the boys found this one in a bit further than where I was, so we were on our way again.
Happy we;re nearly at the end of this adventure!

It's been a while since we have done a night mission, so with a few ideas thrown about we settled on heading to the Beachlands/Maraetai area for a bit of a clean out and to locate the two night caches in the area. The team consisted of RWIMF, iammrwalker, Cats&Dragons and myself (HKCB), which meant we signed the logs as RICH an accornym of our caching names.
Leavng home about 7pm we cached through the night, with the goal to reach my 7000th find, unfortunately the late night counting wasn't accurate enough which meant I was 1 short of that goal, but still 67 finds for the night wasn't a bad effort. We all had a great night, and found a handful of really good geocaches as well. A big thanks to all the CO's for the placements.

After finishing work commitments for the day, I headed East to find a few more caches before dinner. Found a safe place to pull over heading up the hill and wandered up to the cache. Found it in the second place I checked. Yes, some stunning views out this way. TFTC, Biggles.
I thought that this one would be quite quick to get as I was very familiar with this stretch of road. How wrong was I!?! Advice to others of you reading this who are keen to find this one. Don't attempt it in rush hour traffic. I initially missed the best place to park, ended up turning around at the top of the hill, only to turn around and miss the best place to park again... anyway third time lucky just to find a place to park. However, once I had overcome this issue, the cache itself was a very straightforward find with a spectacular view. Thank you Gadget-tron for taking the time to set this one up. It was very cool. TFTC!
Initially looked in the wrong place then stood up, looked around and there it was!
Something here looked like a cache but as it turned out it wasn't. So kept looking. Finally had it spotted. Later realised we had leapt a day and recorded in the log as found a day later. But others following have demonstrated the true date we found this one.
We thought that we were pulling up by a group of cachers, but no it was just a group of Asian tourists taking pictures and selfies. They left once we started to approach luckily. It did a bit to pinpoint the hiding location, but once we turned around the cache was spotted.
Out and about today picking up specific caches for my current geolicence. This was the second find of the day and a nice quick find. As others have noted, I doubt many muggles come this way... although the cows were interested in what I was up to TFTC!
Quick find on a very busy road. Can see why this hasn't been found for a long time! TFTC
Nice quick find! Not very well hidden but doubt many come this way , we tried to cover a little better TFTC
First find of the day in a caching mission with Gernita, thankfully survived the traffic! TFTC.
Note to self, always read the description before you attempt. I parked up the top so met a lot of angry gorse. But I won!!!
TFTC. There were no cattle to point me in the right direction so had to find it all by myself.
It was a perfect winters day so I thought I'd take a drive out to one of my favourite places, Maraetai Beach.
Pulled up near GZ and carefully made my way to GZ. The cows must have all been sleeping today- my presence passed unnoticed! Beautiful views here, as the cache title suggests.
As per a previous finder (HowickSteph) I also originally looked at the wrong base- the I remembered her log and looked back the other way, and sure enough, there it was winking out at me!!!
Quick sign and off I went- TFTC!

Just on the other side of the fence we were followed by a herd of cows/bulls right up to the cache! They followed us as we walked back to the car too- got a little concerned that they might try to charge the fence eep!
Quick find, and, as the title suggests, very nice view

Looked at the base of the wring thing at first, then looked the other way and happened to see it! Beautiful views of rangitoto from here! The cows were very curious and followed us all the way!
Nice easy find with howick steph and sharmander. We also had a fan club of cows follow us all the way to the cache.
Out for the day in the Whitford/Beachlands area, collecting a few caches to assist us with the requirements for our GIO Licence.
A quick driveby cache - if you can find a park! We were limited to just one searcher as one team member was stuck in the car.
Good views and a quick find.

Another quick find today by Miss Move Star whilst I (the driver) waited in the car on this super busy road with Master SethRaven . . . . .another great Wacky B cache . . . . . TFTC
Out with SethRaven today. This was a nice hide while looking out at the veiw. . . . what an awesome veiw. TFTC
Out for some cache finds after today's event in Auckland, with slieschke and alpenmilch80. We stopped for this one on our way out to Beachlands for a possible FTF. Nice views from GZ for sure. TFTC!!!
Every time I drove by this geocache I discarded the idea to go after it as the traffic was way to dangerous to stop. Being in the area after midnight with FMZ and slieschke provided the perfect time to hunt this one safely. Enjoyed the night time view from GZ. TFTC
Found with alpenmilch80 and funkymunkyzone en-route to Beachlands for a newly published cache. This one took some searching about before we managed to make the find. Unfortunately there wasn't much of a view under the cover of darkness!
Thanks!
Thanks!
A quick park and find on the way home. Have always admired this veiw driving home so the short break to walk and find the cache was well worth it. TFTC
Found today with Sir & Lady Harveyjj.
Cracker of a view even when it's hazy.
TFTC, log signed & cache returned safely from whence it was found.
Greetings from the UK

Very easy find because the cache was completely uncovered. We left it with some more covering over it. TFTC!!!
Nice quick find after a family brunch at my old workplace, the wharf store cafe. Thanks.
Just spent the evening out that way getting some other cachers with a friend. Had been wanting to get this one for a while, so we stopped off and made the dash across the road.
Cache soon found.
Very wet, sorry...did not bring my replacement kit with me.

Wonderful views of Aucklands night lights. A quick find on a night raid while staying overnight in Akld. TFTC
Neat spot, i walked fight past it then wonderd how i missed it as so often youo do, TFTC.
Good stopping point on our way from Whitford to Beachlands, this being our 8th find for the day and it's not yet lunchtime! Pen has run out of ink (luckily we were prepared and had our own pen with us!)
TFTC and lovely views.
TFTC and lovely views.
Biking back up the hill had a quick stop to find this one, love the view here. Thanks for the rest.

Parked at the bottom of the hill, outside what looks to be an abandoned house. Walked back up the hill on the inside of the barrier to GZ to make a quick find. The last one for us for the day after a mission around Beachlands. TFTC!
Lovely sized container. Thanks for bringing me to this location.
Thank you for placing this cache.
Thank you for placing this cache.
It's possible to park very close to the cache and pull your car almost completely off the road. But yes this is a busy road and I'm pretty sure the police could generate some revenue if they set up a speed trap here, take care especially if you have youngsters with you.
A fairly easy find, and nicely hidden from prying muggle eyes while you search.

Nice views out over the harbour from here. I remember the old road to the south up this hill before this modern road was put in. Made the trip a lot easier.

Out over this side of Auckland with angeshirl for a lunch at the beach and started our day with this one. Parked up nice and close and soon found the cache. Unfortunately angeshirl was distracted by the view and walked into a low flying tree branch but such are the dangers of caching... Great spot - TFTC
Both of the Jaybees out caching today so double the chance of a find. Well treble in fact as I never find much on my own.
Hadnt been found for a while but it is there and in great condition. Had me/us fooled for a while. Worthy of a favorite point for the view. TFTC

On a mission today to bring up 300 finds including a hike out to Flat Island. No fossicking around required! GPS had me on top of this cache no problem and I soon spotted it. Gadget-tron is right. Lovely views from up here! On the way back to the care I noticed ant interesting cross, which I can only assume is a memorial to someone. Thanks for sharing the view!
