This one has run out of puff, replacement not really suitable after council works so will open area for others
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 21 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

Plenty of hint objects in the vicinity of GZ, but no cache found, even when greatly expanding the search area. Cache owner will need to check on this one.
If the cache is still there?! It is definitely in need for maintenance too.
Worthwhile to check
Worthwhile to check
I am a bit worried about the whereabouts of this one, as the council is in the business at the moment of upgrading the paths through here. New walkways, bridges, etc. And a few of the trees at the gz have been felled too. I couldn't find it as the area has been cleared of rubbish and debris.
Saw 2 entrances from the road, one was blocked off due to stream upgrade/maintenance, so took the other in hopes it may get us where we needed to be, but seemed to go off in the other direction, so abandoned the search for the day, will try again when a little dryer and perhaps sans children.
Found cache reasonably quickly - still a little damp and almost empty (no log). Replaced and covered as found.
Easy find as cache had been discarded at the entrance to the bush walkway. Container was full of water and the only contents remaining were an All Black card and small film spool. The log book was also gone. Emptied out water and dried container and contents (with T shirt - so Mrs Pr will not be happy when she does the washing). Returned the sealed container 1m from path close to where I believe the original GZ to be. Just threw a few leaves etc on top for concealment. Unfortunately, had no spare paper or plastic bag with me, so cache is rather bare. Like the nice doggy picture on lid. Owner has been notified. TFTC.
Mrs j thought she saw the cache on arrival but mr couldn't. That and the GPS indicating 20 m meant we did a ticky tour back but on the way found a black bag with porn videos. We thought a warped sense of humour could connect the name, hint and bag but thankfully NO!! But it did cause enough delay to allow mozzies to find us. PINO TFTC
found it, after a short walk around in circles, TFTC

This one was an awkward find. There seemed to be many places for it, and running late, we checked the hint.
Found a black rubbish bag. I prodded it with a stick, and it was box shaped. Carefully I decided to open it. Inside was another black rubbish bag, inside which was another, inside which was another...etc...for about 5 or 7 bags.
I thought, well this has to be it!! Once it was open however, I received a shock...
Inside was about 7 video tapes...I had accidently stumbled across someones R18 video tape stash...oops.
So I left that, and went off in the other direction. Once I was in the right place, I got the cache easy as.
So that was an experience...
TFTC!!

Thought I might be in for a long hall up the hill but was pleasantly surprised.

I'd completed a 6 1/2 hour tramp through the Waitaks yesterday so even though I was a bit tender this morning I decided to head out on the other side of the bridge and found myself walking along this nice little trail. As per the last log the hint was only relevant when I got to GZ (as you'd hope) and the find was soon made. That looks like fun too! TFTC
Was in the area today to do my first Letterbox Hybrid Cache so I thought I would grab some of the other caches in this bush reserve. GPS wasn't too accurate in the vegetation and I was confused by the hint, until I approached GZ when it all made sense. Signed log and dropped of TB while mozzies started to swarm around me. Time to go! Cheers for the cache!
No barking here and not out of breath getting there. Nice stroll along the path finding three caches along the way. Easy find. TFTC

Took the wrong path initially which really did leave us breathless but once on the right path, the search area was obvious. Would love to see this structure in a downpour! Nice pup pictures!

GPS was a bit all over the place, but with the help of the clue got to GZ. TFTC Took Webbed Feet Geocoin, Left Pathways coin.
Our first geocache with our first GPS. We didn't find it; but will try again next time we're in AKL. We'll try another one tomorrow - somewhere we're more familiar with, where the kids are able to run free.
We would like to log our 50th find and it is only appropriate we find a cache hidden by the team that introduced us to Geocaching... TFTC and the fun times

It helped to think like a puppy: "What would be fun to do/run/eat/hunt here?" Reasonably quick find once we did that. Thanks for showing us another interesting park in Auckland.

Quite little park, short walk to GZ, my GCDD had enough, she just laid down and looked at me " Come on, hurry up can't be that hard" and she was right - had the cache soon in my hand - dropped GC TFTC
I doubt I would have got my dog to stop playing in that after the rains. Thanks.
Nice walk in the bush. Lots of mozzies around but did not hang around long enough. Quick find. TFTC
Heading out with JF. Called by this area and it was Amy's first cache!!

12 noon. A straightforward find inconjunction with Monkey-business. It was Amy's (9 weeks) first cache!! Nice to find a soft-toy fish! We did worry about where the puppies would end up when playing nearby.
Added 2 bracelets and 2 dice, took the fish and some glitter with matching sellotape.

We were nearby at Lake Pupuke when the notification for this cache came through. Made a quick dash to Kauri Glen Park, and were relieved to find we did not have to get Breathless for this cache. GPS led us a little astray, and we were just narrowing in on what turned out to be the actual GZ when Dommey and Happykiwis arrived. Dommey made a quick find. Joint FTF . Pleased to meet you Dommy - congrats on your first cache, and a FTF at that! TFTC.
