The could be for one of several reasons:
- The cache is archived on the cache's listing site.

Logs
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 14 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

The hint is pretty specific, but we didn't find it. In case the hide has changed (I see it has been recently replaced) without the cache page being updated accordingly, we ignored the hint and the GPSr and looked for places we would hide a systema container without success.
Made our way to GZ, but the description, hint and recent maintenance log confused us - is this a sistema or a magnetic cache? or maybe both?? anyway we checked what we thought was the hint item and a few other places besides and couldn't locate this cache, maybe next time.
Cache back in place now that road works are complete. Simesta container in place with log book.
Out with Doandhopers this afternoon. After they replaced it, I quickly signed new log book, and we were on way to the next one. TFTC
I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner attention. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Was passing through and thought 'I can't not stop' so pulled over and hopped out. Looked at the hint as I walked up and being specific thought that would help as I didn't want to draw to much attention to myself.
Unfortunately all I found on the structure was a magnet so I suspect the container has gone. It was only then that I noticed the other DNF's.
This one definitely needs checking on.

No luck for us either. You can see why this would be such a good spot for train photos!
no luck here. there has been alot of work going on in the area along the road so may have been moved or lost.
Another grand adventure with Gap (of Fap and Gap). We hope to rack up as many caches as we can, and put them toward our current GIO License Challenge. Today, we head to North-West Waikato to tackle some of the most isolated, far-flung caches I've ever seen. A big drive that will take us from Port Waikato to Raglan Harbour, and everywhere in between... And the weather is going to make this ride interesting.
This was one of four caches at the northernmost extremity of our journey today. We hadn't planned on coming here, but it was close enough to include these caches. This cache waa found lying in the grass, about half a metre from its intended hide. This area must be prone to vibration from passing traffic (trains and vehicles), so I'm not surprised to find that it had travelled. The log was full and I wrote over a faded signature... TFTC.

Quick stop on our attempt to do 50 in a day and at least 1km apart for the Geocaching Licence. Found this lying on the ground with the lid missing and the logbook full. 26 down, 24 to go. TFTC
Found this lying on the ground with the lid missing and the logbook full. Put it back where I thought it belonged but it does need some TLC
I tried to park closer, but then doubled back to the suggested parking spot and made the grab. TFTC.
Out for a Sunday drive/walk with Mrs McMike2012. Was looking at some caches nearby & decided to stop here for quick park'n'grab while on the way home.TN:LN:SL. TFTC. #7 of 7 today. #557 for us.
Found while keeping the 3 mini-cachers safe behind the fence! Needs a new lid, sealant stuff all peeled off, and I think the log is almost full. Thanks.
Nice easy grab, great view of the tracks. Cache appears to have lost its top, but contents where still dry.
Perfect for train spotting but we didn't get the chance to see any just a few muggles driving past TFTC
No problems with this one. Exactly as described. Lid is broken but stays on ok. TFTC

Today, Vamber, KiwifruitsNZ and alpenmilch80 decided to tackle some of the caches out this way. We enjoyed a day of lovely (and muddy) walking, chatting and caching of course!
As KiwifruitsNZ have already found this cache, we quickly stopped so that alpenmilch80 and ourselves could grab this quick drive-by. Mission soon accomplished, and we were on our way.

During the event at the Auckland's Botanical Gardens Team Vamber invited me to come along to tackle together with KiwifruitsNZ the Solar System trail and other caches in the area. I was a little bit scared about the weather forecast but it turned out to be a rain free sunny day . Due to the rain yesterday we had some muddy patches to cross which we all mastered slip-free and were rewarded later the day with some great ice cream....

Parked close by and walked to find this one. Signed and moved on.no trains today.
Never having been this way, it was a pleasure to get off the main road. NO trains to be seen. today though I was sure That I heard a steam whistle. A flying visit Up North. Visiting family and caches in marginal weather Thanks for the hide.
Pulled in around the corner, and wandered back to the main road. After a quick look, came up with the goods. Managed to avoid the cars flying past! TFTC
Parked up at the suggested spot and wandered over to this one. Busy road indeed but easy enough to retrieve the cache between traffic without any bother. Nice easy find and a cool view of the tracks here. TFTC
Decided to do one last one as we hurtled our way to Raglan for the night.
This one was a quick drive by. No hassles.

This is a very busy road and like the descripton advised park in Ridge road as i pulled over on the main road to read the GPS and a truck nearly took me out. So thanks doandhopers for the warning. We did find the cache after jst about giving up but young jess was the winner of the day and found it well hidden.
Quick find, was a little worried as it looked there was some work being done very near GZ. Cache still there, but might want to keep an eye on it.
We intended to get this cache on our way back to Auckland in 7 days time but a wrong turn on the motorway entrance meant we were going to be passing - so what the hay, we thought we would find it today. It wasn;t Mrs P driving, just incase you were wondering. t4tc
A trio of cachers out & about on a lovely sunny morning, another nice quick grab, tftc
This was a quick stop and grab after starting the day at the solar system series. There has recently been some work done in the area but the cache is still in great condition and was found easily.

We were down this way completing the Solar System Trail near Tuakau and picked up this cache on the way back to the motorway via Pokeno. A quick find, thanks for the cache!

Our last cache for the day. Made the short walk from the car to GZ and made a quick find. TFTC!
Found on our 24hr cache-a-tron mission from Auckland to the Waikato. Log was a bit wet, but luckily one of our crew had their caching repair kit so log replaced and put into a new bag. TFTC
32 of 164 finds in the 24hr Cache-A-Tron Waikato Cache Raid
(http://cacheatron.blogspot.com)
Glad we remembered the cache maintenance kit with this one hopefully the new log and dry bag means the cache owner doesn't need to perform maintenance on it quite so soon.

Found on our 24hr caching mission, Cache-A-Tron - Auckland to Hamilton and back again. We performed some maintenence on this one as the log was slightly soggy - placed a new logsheet inside a plastic bag into the cache, so hopefully will stay a bit drier this time around

Out and about this afternoon with the FF and his Poppa for a little geocaching. With a button disabled on the GPSr it was only thanks to studying the maps that I knew precisely where to stop. A super quick find at GZ and the first entry into the new log was made. Cheers for the cache!
Found it today while passing through here this morning after a yummy breakfast in a nearby town cafe. Very good French Toast and Bacon. Yum. But I digress. Nice easyish find. Log was totally totally saturated, so couldn't sign and didn't have a spare. Big big freight train went past when I was here. TFTC
Popped in today after last 2 log reports and replaced WET log with a dry one. Heaps of room for the summer to write comments.
No trains went past while I was here.
The logbokk is very saturated and unable to be written upon.
Cheers for the cache.

Found today no problems but cache had a lot of water in it. I emptied it out but log book will need replacing as its pretty much wet and mushy. However I was able to sign it TFTC
Heading back to Auckland via Pokeno to grab one of the famous ice creams. Stopped at this one on the way. Jumped out, signed log and away we went!!! Log was a bit damp. Thanks for the adventure. TFTC!
On our way through from Tuakau, Port Waikato to Pokeno Ice Cream and then Auckland's North Shore. Thanks for getting us side tracked! Just a few caches today but a lot of ground covered.
On our way home from Port Waikato and got side tracked. KnK made the find on this one. Stopping off in Pokeno for ice cream before heading home! TFTC
Great location, loads of passing traffic, so I had to pretend I was taking photos lol. Found the cache in a brief lull in the traffic. TFTC!
