Looked and looked with geo wife and dogs but couldn't find. Back to Spear Creek caravan park
Day 2 of Flinder's Ranges visit with mogni and Aussie M&M.
Detoured into Port Augusta for a tripod for Mr. M and some more rechargeable batteries. Took the opportunity to grab a few caches.
4 sets of eyes with plenty of caches found but we couldn't find this one.
Time for the owner to check perhaps. [?]

I was headed up to Port Augusta for a kayak event but somehow afterwards I forgot to stop driving.
1,700kms later and after 83 smileys including 1 FTF were locus cache'd, 1 event attended and sadly 7 DNFs and a dead roo, I arrived back home with both the camera and the phone full of pictures of this amazing country in which we live .
I almost disregarded this hide as it was a real heavyweight!
Then upon opening the cache I wondered why the log book had only one signature in it..... it seems LL had had to put a log into the cache to allow him to sign it.

Found It!
GZ looked like a bit of a dump...
Oddly, there was no logbook in the cache so I added one.

..and here I was thinking 'Anonymous' was a fake persona..but then I found this cache and there was the name on the top of the list...I stand corrected.
I found it pretty fast because I knew where it had to be when I saw the area.

This was our one big day of caching in the region.
We have visited many great spots, seaside locations, town high lights & back country roads.
This was one of the many caches we found.
Thanks Honey Badger Gang

Our 49th of 56 Caches found for our Pt Augusta and surrounding area cache run.
A few last caches before heading home to Wallaroo. Spotted the likely hiding location from the other side of the bust and made our way to it and there it was.

Nothing much happening today. Can't imagine what is burried in there. You can't get rid of anything these days.

Our caching foray around P A has revealed that there are many people who are not prepared to pay dump fees.

When I first heard of this one I thought it would be at the 'ye olde' olde' dump on the Carlton Pde extension.
It turns out I was wrong. (Not the first time)
At GZ the cache was quickly located.
Done today with half the 'oldfrankos' team on a beaut arvo in the new Subaru.
Cheers and happy caching.

Being as we fit into the Ye Olde category we thought that we should do some of this series and with the weather deteriorating around us why not head to the Ye Olde Dump, as dumps go this one isn't too bad as it had a nice easy to find cache here

#24 of 28 caches today. Found at 3.14pm on a very HOT day in Port Augusta. We really enjoyed the hunt around this town (its the longest we have spent here too!). Thanks heaps...
Another night cache with the traveling pants look out for giant yellow bugs!!! Cheesle out!
What can we say about this one - perhaps that we definately agree with the sentiment in the description? Hmmm...
Found by David at 1535 while Mary stayed in town to check out the Wadlata Outback Centre. Followed the dirt track south from the train wreck and popped out very close to GZ. Very windy and dusty, but nobody else about. Our thanks once again to Newbs_Clan.
The eleventh find on our Sunny Side Up caching tour. A few pre event caches to make the long journey to Googs a little more interesting.
Quickly found and we were soon on our way again. Luckily we had the camera out, as just as we were replacing the cache a worker was just locking the gates, so took to the oppertunity to educate us on the plant life. Not sure what he thought of 3 4wd's parked there, but he didn't ask!

Another spot where people going past must wonder why a car is parked just there.
Thanks Newbs Clan.

We were in the area today to inspect a couple of new homes I had previously worked on in Stirling North, and we hadn't intended on finding any geocaches. As we were just around the corner from this cache, I though I'd bring an extra set of eyes with me after my DNF last visit.
It truly was one of those "How'd I ever not see that?" moments. Mrs J thought it was quite funny.
Thanks Newbs_Clan.

The cache was not where my geocacher sense said it would be. It was where the GPSr said it was though.
