16/01/2012 14:46 On holiday in Encounter Bay from Melbourne. Off to Goolwa (and Strathalbyn) today to pickup up a pair of wooden boats bought by Eagle Eye for his collection and to enjoy the area. Given the listing instructions There are limited places it could be. Checked them but like the recent hunters I found nothing. Sad

#478 1st of 8 in a run from Mt Barker to Victor Harbour. Great park here in Strathalbyn. No muggles around and sheltered at GZ anyway so geowife soon had cache in hand (but had to give it to hubby to open it tho!). Very nice area and good hide. Thanks Contact Zero.

Beautiful day in Strath, found easliy even with muggles around as you can conceal what you are doing fairly well in this spot, TFTCSL [^]

05-Feb-11
found it... after about 15 mins... but was searching in the dark... Smile

26-Jan-11
I sat in the right spot - that's what it took. Container was almost rusted shut - took a lot of effort to open. Might need a new one in future. TFTC

26-Jan-11
I think this is the third time I've been here for a cache. It's amazing how many smilies one wall can give you. The other two caches haven't lasted too long though, so I wont be surprised if I get many more smilies from the wall.

Really great job that they have done with the swimming pool over the water. A lovely spot to cool down, and enjoy the park.

This was a hard one. Not because of the cache itself but because it required a lot of stealth. GeoWife ended up actually finding it.

We came past to smell the roses but found that there was a couple of muggles at GZ licking the ice cream.
They found our antics strange so we went off to find the other caches in town.
When we came back they were gone and after a short but intensive search found the container.

Cheers.

Cache 900 for us today. And what more fitting a place than 3 metres from where we placed a cache back in 2004 (Angus - long gone to muggle heaven!).

There must have been a bucket load of water coming through these parts when the river rose recently.

Mr J has fond memories the weir. Coming home from school they were forbidden to cross it, which of course they ignored, but his brother slipped off. Told his mum that someone turned a sprinkler on him and that was why he was wet. Maybe he didn't think she'd notice the slime!!

Cheers and thanks for the cache.

05-Sep-10

Too cold to inhale to much here. No flowers - just sticks. And yes I had cleaned my shoes. Clear skies.
