TFTC. Our first outing out in a while. Stopping for lunch as well!2 path tags left. Happy caching and safe travels!
Blustery and a chilly wind but enjoyed the track to get here. Thanks for the hide.
If your car can handle corrugations, it can probably handle this track at the moment [:o)].
There were a group of fishermen here, but they were no bother to us, having headed out in their boat and a long way off in the distance .
Searched around and eventually found the broken container . Rummaged through the back of the truck and sorted out a replacement [8].
TNLNSL.
Now to get back out of here [B)].
Thanks again Someuser.

Found on our drive around before settling on the creek for the day. With tweety2 and Redmond. Happy New Years. TFTC
A quick find after a quick journey from the last cache. Awesome location. Pretty windy today. Not sure why I did not come here 6 years ago. I guess I missed the turn.
Found with Freddo on a trip to the West Coast. What a lovely spot. Fav point added. Thanks Someuser
Found with TeamAstro on a day trip down the coast from Ceduna. It was a beautiful day and we stopped at this great spot for lunch. Over a year since the last find!
Thanks Someuser for the cache - I wouldn't have known about this place otherwise. A fav point from me.

What a top spot. We set up for lunch under the shelter after a smooth drive to GZ. There were a few boats in the creek - never saw what they were catching though.
Found on the great Transpacific Rail Centenary (1917-2017) trip incorporating a visit to Maralinga Nuclear site. Blast of a trip.[^]
Thanks to someuser and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Grey nomading and caching our way up the middle, across the top, down to Perth and home to Adelaide for Xmas. Went to the camp ground first and saw where we should be. Made the trek to the spot. Lots of pelicans and plovers. The lid is broken and contents wet so dried it and then wrapped it in a black plastic bag. T.F.T.C.
Found at 11:35 AM GAFF1.
We were camped at Wittebee Conservation Park waiting for our friends to catch up with us for the crossing of the Nullarbor and beyond, so in the meantime we explored the area and did a few caches.
What a contrast from doing all of those geoart caches on the Yorke Peninsula! This is what we like - a nice drive out to remote locations and finding a cache here and there. The drive out to here was not that hard and a 2wd could easily have handled the track conditions - graders must have been through here recently. We were surprised to see a well set up fish cleaning table and a large picnic shelter at the camp ground - but there was no one about at all. Just us! The cache was quickly found, but the lid is cracked and lets in water.
Thanks someuser.

I headed for this spot last night from Streaky Bay
Everything was going to plan ....
.... right up to the point where I reached a very nice campground just 800 metres from GZ
OH WHY IS THERE ALWAYS A CREEK IN THE WAY !!
Well bother finding this cache today
I could see where it was hidden from across the creek.
The drive to get to GZ looked like about 10 kilometres or so on the map.
And I wasn't sure if the road from here to there was even passable [:o]
I had already passed a "Road Closed Ahead" sign at the turnoff from the highway !!
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ [|)]
Bright and early this morning I headed the 10 kilometres or so to GZ
I never found the actual "Road Closed" sign and after finding the nearby "Goog's at Easter Night 1" geocache was following the corrugated and sandy trail to Point Lindsay
A lot of rain must have fallen as there were many large puddles across the track.
The geomobile needed a wash [^]
At GZ the cache was a nice easy find in a beautiful location
I guess the salmon are not biting at the moment !!
TFTC and detour from the highway [^]

Barbie the GPS said one way but we thought another. Anyway, listened to her and ended up in the middle of an area with a tent parked in it, of all things. They must have been thinking, "Of all the places in all the world, you have to come here?! Go away!!" We would have. We collected the headlamps, torches, wind cheaters, woolly hats, pen and GPS in that order then set off. It was very dark and when we sort of saw what was in front of us for 874m we both said, "I'm not going through that swamp in the dark!" I said, "I'm not going through that swamp in the daylight! So back to the geobus and we followed the 'other' path instead. After a few minutes of "Please drive to highlighted route" (there WAS NO highlighted route you stupid machine!!) we turned the MUTE on and kept following our noses. Eventually we arrived at the GZ area and although it was pitch black by then we could see shimmering water and were looking forward to seeing it in the daylight. Had a peaceful night compared to the truck stop the night before. Well, it was a great spot well worth the drive out here. Mrs M (me) spent plenty of time with a baby albatross who followed me around and posed for videos and photos. Has a tag on his leg and was so cute. Soon a pelican and seagull tried to get in on the act as well. Glad we visited and we would not have known about it if we weren't geocaching so thanx for that. No TB.
Well drove into this park from Smoky Bay with our 4WD Car and Baravan, found the Goog's Cache again, then headed around to this one. Got to GZ, but followed the track to the Camp site first, as this area is no Camping.
Well the cruiser got bogged a second time towing the van in two days, so out with the Tuff Tracks, and back we go about 250 metres. Getting stuck about 6 times.
Back at GZ, we parked in the boat trailer zone, and cooked a damper for tea, then found the cache.
In the morning we followed the other way out to Eyre's Highway, only to find the track blocked by a sand dune creeping across the track. Tried the cruiser first, nope, time to turn around, which is no mean feat. Spotted an open gate and the GPS had a track so followed it out to the highway, thanks Mr Farmer for the unlocked gates.
Cheers from Mr & Mrs Barra

Easy find on a beautiful day, Some muggles were fishing nearby so we had to be a bit sneaky. TFTC
(12.45) - GPS not happy a bit jumpy, not able to zero in, despite this, cache soon in hand. A cooold wind a blowing, watched the tide come in. TFTC Swaps made
Found no worries after staying nearby over night. Not a mozzie to be heard this morning. Thx someuser for the cache.
Been here a couple of times before, pre caching days, and it is still a great protected waterway. TFTC
What a great place to visit. Been here many times before, but always good to go back. TFTC
By now the group heading to the Googs Track had expanded somewhat to 8 vehicles and still we cached across the west coast.
Originally we were to camp here but the mozzies could lift you off the ground. TFTC.

The forty nineth find on our Sunny Side Up caching tour. A few pre event caches to make the long journey to Googs a little more interesting.
Quickly found and we were soon on our way again. Found as part of the Sunny Side up group.

God Damn, the mozzies are big here! They almost cvarry you away
But it appears the salmon are almost as monumental.
A great spot to visit for a few seconds, and find a cache [^]
Cheers, TNLNSL and left in a hurry! But i will return one dat to enjoy the area a little more I'm sure.

A trip in the twilight for the Sunny Side Up event crew, this place was absolutely lousy with mozzies. Pretty much set the scene for the rest of the trip! TFTC.
Found on twilight as part of the Sunny Side Up event crew.
We chose to spend the night here but were almost drained of all our blood by the humongous mozzies that were big enough to carry a person away.

Found with a number of other teams on the way to the 'Sunny Side Up' event.
Unfortunately we didn't get much of a chance to explore the area other than driving around in circles trying to find a spot for eight cars to set up camp.
Hopefully we will get an opportunity to come back another day.

We travelled an unneccesary 30kms to get this cache. The track was dry and smooth. I would have driven a 2wd down here today but i can see how it could get messy even for a 4wd. Great spot TFTC
Found this the next day after the GPS tried to take us across the creek. Lots of mice around. Windy and cold. Took coin Left Millhouse. TFTC
FIRST TO FIND !!!! Our very first "first to find" as well.
My son was so happy.
Beautiful spot, had a nice walk first thing in the morning,
Took the gold medal, left a small sheep with stretchy arms.
Thanks
