Travelling with iluvtrekking on a SA caching foray. Moving from PA to Clare today and caching along the route. Thanks Tk2
Found with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip. Thanks thanks for the views TK2.
The cache is true to its name, with sensational views. Found cache hidden quietly in a good spot. TFTC
A big long weekend with the JAMS Crew (JJ52, allister w(me), mogni, Sir Spectre and tallbikestan). We road from Riverton to Stanley Flat on day 1. Then more riding near Spalding on day 2. Then finished the weekend with finding caches around the area in the car. TFTC
A return visit to Clare was planned for the long weekend with the JAMS crew plus tallbikestan to find a lot of the caches that we didn't get to on our last visit along with the Rattler, Riesling and NE trails as well as the Mid North Channel Country trail. [^]
We had three very full days with perfect weather for caching, lots of bike riding, lots of walking and lots of driving along dirt tracks. We were lucky it had not recently been wet as some of the roads we drove on would not have been passable if wet. Loved the scenery at this time of year with everything looking very green as well as the bright yellow of the canola crops.
A fun weekend of caching, lots of caches found and lots of cool places visited.
Thanks for the cache Tk2.

The JAMS crew went on an October long weekend adventure back to Clare. We brought Tallbikestan along as we were targetting the bike tracks and he is the best rider amongst us. Allister W and sir_spectre we the other main riders, with JJ52 and I the support crew and walkers. A huge weekend of fun and adventure was had by all, until I made SS sick with my cold....oops.
Thanks to all those who have kept not just the bike tracks but all the other caches alive for us to find.
All caches signed as JAMS.
Thanks to Tk2 from mogni

It was a clear day and we could see 4 ever. quick find.
The JAMS team ( JJ52,Allister w, Mogni, and sir_spectre minus mitchell&hound ) but Tallbikestan was with us instead and we where out for there usually monthly caching adventure. This time it was over the october long weekend instead of the usual day trip. The taget this time was Drop into the Light a long ladder cache on the way to clare and then to clear the Rattler trail, Riesling Trail, Ne Trail saturday on the bikes and then sunday do the Mid North Channel Country bike trail. Monday on the return home was to get Peter's view a 2001 cache. Of course there was many, many other's found on route to the various target for the weekend, somewhere around 260 found by the team. It could have been more but we were not going at a flat out pace, just steady and getting a blow out on the bike 1.6 km's from the end of the Mid North Channel Country bike trail didn't help. I didn't see any snakes this trip but allister did, he saw 5. The caches this trip where written in as JAMS, i forgot the stamps. Also 1 cache was placed by the JAMS team this trip. Out of all the bike tracks i preferred the Rattler /Riesling trail. I like riding through the very rich ( after all the recent rains ) fields of yellow flowers.

So we were all set to fly to Dayboro for the Queensland Mega this weekend. There hadn't been a case in Qld for a quite a few weeks before we decided to book in early Feb. What are the chances of a case causing a lockdown and closing the border we thought..So when it all did happen just 4 days before we where due to leave, we were royally peed off. So we had to cancel and find somewhere else to spend Easter. Pt Broughton was a last minute choice. Yesterday we pulled up stumps and headed to White Cliffs campground to join friends for Easter Sunday/Monday. Had a great afternoon /evening with spit roast meat and potato bake with exotic cheeses! Today after most had left apart from Chrispy89, we decided to leave early (we were going to stay until Tuesday morning to avoid the traffic) so we packed up camp and cached our way to Yakka with Chrispy and graabbed this on on the way . enjoying an easter break away at white cliffs. we came out caching snappytomcats. a quick find on the way home

Another fun day's caching in the sun, making a few finds to mark the end of another great year.
Many thanks for placing the cache for me to find.

Yes, great views from here today and we could see the giant fans from both Burra and Snowtown (first time we've ever been able to do so) .
Not a great fan (pardon the pun) of those things, but I suppose we'll get used to them (a bit like stobie poles, only less of them, but bigger). Kind of takes away from the serenity of the hills .
TNLNSL.
Thanks again Tk2.

It was a clear day and the views to the east and west [I think] were impressive. If it hadn't been so windy we would have got the binoculars out for a better look. So much cropping happening here and very few sheep and cattle seen.
A nice quick find and then it was back in the van out of the wind and out of there. Thanks.

4529 found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1000. Not so clear today with intermittent rain showers coming in from the southwest. Had to wait for the storm to pass before making the find. SL Tnx Tk2
Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Staying in a 'Free Camp' we werent sure what the weather was going to hold for today. Turned out quite magical, with grey thunder clouds overhead but sunshine still shining through.
We visited the towns of Merriton, Redhill, Koolunga, Yacka and Gulnare also Threadgold's Crossing. A busy day and lots of fun exploring, but with sadly 4 DNF's.
Thanks for helping us tour this region by visiting your cache Tk2

After being to 4 ever we had to follow up with its name sake, fantastic views from here could see some of the harvesters still reaping some left over harvests TFTC
We were staying at the Yacka campground with the High Range 4WD club and we went for a bit of a drive around the area (with maps & suggestions kindly provided by Tk2 I believe). Our first cache for the day and the views were great but there was a lot of storm clouds down south so we couldn't see as far as you would on a clear day.
Heading back from a great couple of days caching in Whyalla we were taking our time coming down so as to be able to attend the "YP Cachers Get Together #3" event tonight and also grab some caches in areas we do not normally travel. This is the second cache for the morning after camping near by and the second time today we have been able to see 4 ever, something we never thought we would be able to do with these old eyes.
We had no idea we had climbed so high getting here and really enjoyed the views from GZ except for the very stormy clouds building on the horizon.
Thanks again Tk2 for the cache showing us this location.

Had a couple of spiders and a few dozen ants guarding the cache today but a quick pull and drop on the ground managed to shake them loose. TFTC
Nice easy find despite the ants.. Dazz had this out and signed before I turned the car around..
Thanks Tk2 for the cache

Great views that go on 4 ever. I thought the cache would be at the top of the hill and drove past without looking at the GPSr. Doh. Slow learner.
I don’t remember seeing any Yacka bushes within cooee of the place, so the name is a bit of a puzzle for me [?]
The view was very picturesque though [^]

It was our last find for the day...Ms Bushies2 found it...stayed back to have a beer to watch the sun going down...our dog enjoyed the area and chased the ball we threw at him. Thanks Tk2 for bringing us to the great view and peace.
A pleasant afternoon's caching on the way to Clare. The views are rather something! Took the TB. TFTC
Nice drive up a hill, you can really see a long way here. Very photogenic TFTC
Our final cache for the long weekend, and what a wonderful view of the surrounding area. Well worth the detour off the main road, and what a great hide. I hobbled out to this one, determined to find it, and triumphantly came up with the goods. Dropped in Crowmania Travel Bug. TFTC and the wonderful views.
Pleased to see a regular sized cache on a day of micros. Interesting views at GZ as well as the trip to and from. TFTC
Visited this site on a cold, windy and rainy day. Couldn't see very far as the rain swept across the landscape. Decided to liberate Buzzy Bee TB and move him closer to the Highway. Left toy dog. TFTCSL.
found on the way home while travelling home with Firesafe after the JJJ Event.
what a great veiw on a clear day

After a big weekend in Jamestown for the JJJ, it was time to head home so we drove west then south to grab some caches on the way. It is amazing how a 3 hour trip takes 7 hours .
Clear day today and a great view. TFTC.
