Thanks Barra for getting us together for no particular reason. It was good to catch up with a few people who I didn't see at the pub lunch a couple of days ago.

What a great way to finish the day - a couple of lagers, a great meal and among friends. Thanks Barra and see you on the weekend.

A practice run for the real event with mtbikeroz next week. We all honed our beer drinking, schnitzel eating & cache bragging skills, and I reckon we're ready for next week.
It's always good to have these regular event in the evening once in a while, so that I can attend . As enjoyable as always!

I arrived at GZ at 5.30 thinking I was the only one there but turned and saw Flipper, Firesafe , Someuser and Cacher who says Ni lurking in the corner so I joined them for a drink and chat before Dinner. It was nice not to feel rushed to get there and get back to work. Mr Parrot arrived just in time, as I was about to order. Great to chat with people and nice to meet and chat with Team Scoobster. Look forward to the next one.

With the glitches of this week or next week, this week worked out well, as next week will too.

Got there just after seven, Astro was drinking a juice not sure where the beer was that calumphing_four left for me, so got my own, and enjoyed the company of everyone there. Returned to work and got home at 11 pm which is the earliest this week.

What can I say? It's always a great feed and a great night at the Marble Bar events. I look forward to doing it all again next week. Thanks Barra!!

Team "A" at 10-00 pm

WOOO HOOO another excuse for another meal at the MB
Arrived by bus at about 5-15pm, allready found another cacher enjoying a refreshing/cleansing beer.
The place was soon echoing to the sounds of cachers discussing the caches that they have found in the past few days.
As it was the day before my 52nd B/day, I decided to sink a pint or 5 to celebrate. Enjoyed a wonderful steak ( just wondering on why I got 2 large pieces ??)
SWMBO1 arrived at about 7-25 after visiting the hairdresser, her meal came out a few minutes later.

We enjoyed a fantastic night, the management even shouted me 2 pints of pale ale and Zambucca shot, was ticking on quite well.
Everyone left just leaving team Scoobsta and us to discuss the finer points of pathtags.

Many thanks to Barra for arranging the "pre" event dinner, ( he had to make sure it will go to plan for next Thursday night)

Looking forward to seeing the gang nxt week,

Always good to have a catch up after work. Much less rushed, and a lot more relaxing.

Thankfully there wasn't a need for a needs maintenance log (well apart from the event organiser ) as the beer was already flowing when I got there nice and early.

Good feed as usual, good to chat about caching and non caching things, though it would have been nice to have A there with me as well. Maybe next week.

Dropped Skippy the eco & public transport friendly kangaroo off on the way home, and do quite enjoy the roads being a lot quieter as the usual evening drive can be slow sometimes, so a beer and a schnitzel can be a good thing!

After a busy and tiring day at work it was nice to have dinner with fellow cachers. I had the fish and chips and it was brilliiant. YUM

Late notice I know, but I'll be there... in about 4 hours time....

Woo Hoo. First to log "Attended".
Left work at 5pm to drive home, picked up the wife at 5:40pm. Dropped her off in Rundle St at 6:05. Heading past at 6:10pm needed a convenience stop, and this was quite convenient.
Said G'day to a few, before buying a beer to leave for Barra. Hopefully Astro didn't drink it.
Rushed off home again, so my sister who was kid sitting could go home.
Nice to get another "close to home" off the list, as well as saying G'Day.

What a great night!!..made even better by having the kiddlies babysat.. so it was Mr and Mrs Team Scoobster who got to enjoy the evening!
Lovely lovely people, met some new faces..Team Astro, Parrot head and co - thankyou for the chat and the pathtag.. !!!... And lots of other faces who are becoming more familiar as we attend more of these events !..even more surprised about running into an old friend who happens to also be a geocacher!!!..amazing!!!
Drinks, food....more drinks... then a virgin cache pops up - and a mass exodus occurs, leaving us and Flipper and Co to ensure the party kept going...so of course.. that meant ..more drinks!!..Happy Birthday Mark! ... Thanks also to Mrs Flipper - i think my first path tag design will be up and ready to go soon

I joined the crowd for a drink and a discussion of geocaching topics. Where was the minister this week? No where to be seen. Suddenly we disappeared in a cloud of smoke and headed for Lavaland to find some caches on a beautiful evening.

I paid for all my beers no thanks to calumphing_four. Lovely night esp great to catch up with the old and some new faces...... though I had a reaction with the tentacles a few hours later......

Even after a very late will attend log there was plenty of seating available for two more attendees.
The missus enjoyed the night out without the kids so next week may even be a go for us both as well.

Sadly we will no longer be able to attend, sickness has hit the house yet again.

Should be able to make it depending on how the cold I've got develops over the next 24 hours.

In the end it works out for me, as A has assignments due next Friday, so she will be busy working away Thursday night. So I'll keep out of her hair, and come for dinner.
So now only one attending, and I'll be there for an early beer!

Sorry everyone , this has been my worst mistake ridden Pub Lunch\Dinner, by not checking the details the 6th time. The Pub Dinner on the 27 is still in place for those that have booked in for it, but without MtbikerOz because I got his arrival date wrong,

He is coming in June and I have planned another Pub Dinner on the 3rd of June on the request of his Daughter MtnLioness.

Due to a glitch of dates, we now have 2 Pub Dinners 27th of May (The usual 6 week event format) and the 3rd of June with MtBikerOz. Sorry for the confusion, but so as not to dissapoint anyone we will have 2 Dinners to look after everyone.
