Almost stod on the cache as it had become a bit mobile.
Due to mis-aligned lid cache full of water...probably a good thing because it looks like it would have floated away if it had not leaked.
I will relocate and replace cache within the next week.

Found it today, after a brief seach. I really like the camo! Unfortunately there was water in the cache and the log book is completely soaked through.
Nice quick find with no muggles lurking around. GPS was spot on. Exactly were I suspected. TFTC
Parked by your cache while driving the Team Y-Cacho's Auckland cache raid 24 hour mission
Many thanks for your cache, plan to be back soon with Butterfly_Lady

Out and about with the Y-Cacho's.
A lovely spot. Sadly the 1 litre cache had about 750 ml of water in it. My guess is that it is actually located below the spring tide mark?
Many thanks

Not a big fan of Cutty Grass. Took a while to find but managed it.

Had a good search (but in fading light) - certain I had the correct island (I even have the phggl cuts to prove it!) but didn't manage to find it...
Hope the new one is still there - I'll be back in better light

Haha FTF sort of... Very good cammo. Works well. Took dad and the dog out. Drizzle and cloud cover made the gps play up but we got there in the end. Cache is safely snuggled up where we found it!
I have replaced this cache with a new container that I wedged into the base of an island of vegetation.
It is about 500 mls and is covered in an "experimental camo".
Please wedge it back in place to stop it floating away on the next King Tide. Thanks.

Looks like King Tides and heavy rain have claimed another cache...I will replace soon.
Had a good look around using the clue but DNF Hope it didn't get washed away in the recent flooding.
Nice quick little grab after grabbing a sneaky FTF just up the road. BBQ going on at the neighbours but they all seemed oblivious. TFTC
Always good to see a larger sized cache in an urban area. Reasonably screened from the surrounding houses too.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Nice short walk to GZ, quickly found the cache. Noticed there is still no wharf!! SL TFTC
#612 Our first day trying out paperless caching. Success quick find. Good hide and camo. SL. TFTC.

I have had an email to say that the log book was found floating in the tide , so I guess the cache is dead.
I will try to replace this weekend. Cheers

Approached the plant with some trepidation and thought it might be missing for a while until I nearly stumbled over it. TFTC, Biggles.
Don't you just love hiding a cache in these sort of bushes, well really now, arrived at GZ and a quick search had the cache in hand. No major issues here but a few small cuts. Thanks for the interesting hide. TFTC TNLNSL (2082)
09:41 Last traditional cache on the Te Atatu peninsula, north of the motorway, yet to find. A quick find. TFTC

It is time to get some of the Te Atatu Peninsula caches off the to-do list this fine sunny morning. This was number 7 on my trip around. I waited until a fisherman had started to set himself up near the GZ before searching for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.

We did the rounds of the Te Atatu caches Sunday afternoon, the day after everyone else. Some muggles were fishing near GZ, but luckily they packed up and left as the rain came down, leaving us to make a quick find, then dash back to the car. So that made Te Atatu was all clear again - until a new cache got published Sunday night! TFTC.

What a nice day sunny and heaps of geochacers out hunting met up with rosmar and we did a few shared ones together
Ground was very wet underfoot but managed to get to GZ with dry feet. Quickly found the cache. Noticed there was a nest with a egg in it in the middle of the cutty grass. TFTC
Just standing by the roadside setting the Garmin when I heard voices behind me. Lo and behold it was the teamYuGeo4. So we joined forces and away we went.

Out and about enjoying a sunny caching day. Quickly spotted the cache after first suspecting a duck egg to be a possible micro camo cache. Just as well we didn't try to open it T4TC.
4477 What Wharf? We exclaimed, when sprung by Uncle Brian and Aunty Mary, decided to team up for the remaining Te Atatu caches... Thankfully a cut free find, many thanks.
Remember coming to another cache not far from here and catching the locals dumping supermarket trolleys in the swamp. Don't think the cache lasted though, or this one wouldn't be here. Just as well Mr TT had his caching stick handy. TFTC
On the return from the timewarp in the tron we decided to swing by this cache with FMZ - TFTC !
Quick find down here - remember FTFing a cache here a wee while back. Not surprised to be 2 hours behind stu4 since we were in Hamilton when it was published, although surprised to be second to find. TFTC!!!
