I walked round and round looked high and low but could not find it. It must be beautifully camouflaged and very small. A perfect location. I will be back for another try!

Apologies for the late log ... life interrupted my logging. I hate it when that happens! Sad

Mrs Gizmo escaped for a two day caching trip to Port Augusta with Dr Owl and CPwanderer.

Day 2 and we packed up our gear and headed off to find a few more caches before breakfast.

Mostly dry this morning. Took a bit of time to find the sneaky hide. Doctor Owl spotted it eventually. A favourite for the journey and the location.

CPWanderer, Gizmo's Gang and Owl were heading home after an excellent adventure, but not before a few more caches. This was a pleasant drive, which the Owlmobile handled well. No wet feet this time, but it took a while to find the cache.

Hi there polarbear68.

We found your cache **"Harrys STASH"** at 11:11:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 15920).

We cached between Port Augusta and Mangrove Point today. On our trek we found a wide variety of container types. & ended up finding 7 caches with 0 DNF's.

Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

GoodLook very, very badly wanted to attend a special event, so who was I to tell her she was going overboard with geocaching [?] Wink
Instead we jumped into Harry on Friday for 2 days of adventure, accompanied by Laighside Legends, in Whyalla where fishingmad was holding an event on Saturday to christen his new boat..... 6km out in the gulfSurprisedCool[^]
We had a blast and it was huge fun showing GoodLook around parts of Whyalla that she hadn't seen before Big Grin I think her logs say it all! Cool
Today was a day of 3 DNFs Sad and 30 finds Smile

Unless mentioned otherwise, please know that your cache and log book was in good condition.

No wet feet for us today but we did find Harry's Stash and both Harry and his driver enjoyed the journey in..... although apparently LL didn't Surprised
Maybe he needs to come out with me more often to desensitise himself! Wink

Harry the 4WD LOVED driving out to Harry's STASH Big Grin

The loud and lovely Locus Cache [:X], the very clever Laighside Legends Cool and myself drove to Whyalla in Harry with the aim of this weekend being: to find a few caches, and attend the 5T boating/fishing & caching event.....AWESOME!! Big Grin [^]

There was fun, laughter Big Grin, silliness [:o)], tense moments, some creative driving (on road, off-road, dirt, sand, mud, water, tackling what could be described as a very steep and narrow bmx track...yep you heard me!) Cool, breath holding Surprised, kindness [:X], tight time schedules, ladder climbing, feet getting wet, dolphins, a boat, fish, nanos, ammos, sistema of all sizes and a number of mint tins. Surprisingly few DNFs. And LOTS of other mad crazy conversations and adventures. Gotta love caching and all of the fun it can be!! [:o)] CoolWinkRazzBig Grin [^]

Thanks for the cache polarbear68 Smile

I checked the tide charts. All good.

The 4bee splashed through the puddles at the first right from the red flag. The views here are amazing - the day was good and the wind was refreshing. I sucked up the fresh oxygen and the cache. Great spot.

Thanks to polarbear68 and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^]

Last time I came here the tide was in and it was a 5m swim to the cache. This visit the water was about 500m beyond the tree. Geez I could have just about walked to Port Patterson. The cache was found after a brief search. Thanks for the fun. Love this spot. The gold coast of South Australia.

06-Dec-11
Have passed through P A several times and each time caching has taken us away from the tourist haunts and so it was with Harrys STASH.
Thanks polarbear68

16-Oct-11
Epic failure. I arrived at a high high tide pushed up by a strong southerly. There was a 1ft swell rolling in from the fetch across the gulf. It was wet stuff 10m from GZ. Doh. Damn. Double damn. Should be ok, It is a shell grit beach. Stripped off to jocks and started wading. Got to 2m from GZ. Then disaster. Rocks. The evil nemesis of bare feet. Aggghhh.... Where was my cojones you ask. Heading up into my abdomen with the cool water. Never mind we will return.

First for the day on a short geo road trip. Man fishing in exact spot, wondering if it was Harry.

02-Jul-10
Although there has been a bit of rain recently, the track was OK.
We were quite glad that the tide was out or it could have got a bit tricky on such a cold day.
Beautiful spot, thanks for showing it to us.

FTF [^]...Current dirt track impassable due to recent rains, got a shower of rain too, whilst locating Harrys Stash. We found a track south of Harry stash, and considered this a better option to approach GZ... Nice little area, protected from the western winds. Did not have time to fish.. TFTHSL..Cool..
