I was bit surprised to see this cache while walking by even though I wasn't actually looking for it. If the previous finder is going to be cheeky and log a find on an archived cached they could have at least removed it if the CO is unable to for whatever reason. I have now done that.
Out on a cache placing exploration trip with TwigNZ. WE didn't place any caches, what we were doing was exploring for potential hides. and came up with 5 ( on top of three others I am wanting to do).
Heading home I suggested we stop for an archived cache, although it turns out Twig had found this ion the day of the WENZ mega, when he got eleven types in a day. The cache is still here, although the log is full. Thankfully I had solved it before the image went offline. A 1000 day lonely cache! Nice!

It seems the original cache owner has taken down the website with the required image.
Solved this quite a while ago. Was on errand out here — well, Stokes Valley — so stopped by to claim. TFTC wb1116; log almost full.
I solved this quite easily which was a bullseye for me considering how often I look at one and go “duh!”.
I darted in and discovered quite a few cars starting to fill the car park.
I took aim and launched a shot. Unfortunately I missed the board! I was faced in the wrong direction.
I turned and was pointed in the right direction.
A 1, a 5, then Triple 20!
As I took the container back to my car so I wasn’t standing around while a number of eyes were on me, I spotted the school nearby. Ahhhh!
Thanks for putting in the effort to set up this puzzle.
BTW The log was a little damp and a bit tattered. It may need checking in the near future.

A nice easy solve for us which took us to a fitting spot. We watched a whole family riding on motorbikes in the park which annoyed us while we looked for the cache. Luckily they were too busy to notice what we were doing. Tftpc
Had an awesome time in and around Wellington for my very first Mega. 5 days of caching and today = day #5

Find number 4281. An early morning walk before leaving town after attending the Mega. Enjoyed getting the coords for this one. All quiet at GZ when I arrived. Thank you for the placement.
Day 2 of the Mega, and another early caching start. This time we headed north to Kaitoke to collect a few solved puzzles before returning to the Mega at 9am to complete the Lab caches. On our way back we stopped to pick up Bullseye. This was an interesting puzzle that we have had on our solved list for a couple of years now. As we parked the camper we noticed there was a car close by, so we had breakfast before hunting for the cache, in the hope he would move on. He didn't, but he seemed to be engrossed in his phone, so we moved in for a stealthy find. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
This was a fun puzzle to solve - which I had a few of the skills to be able to come up with a cache page like this. Quick drive by late afternnon but I imagine it could be a mission at other times. TFTC # 13,177
Down for the Wellington Mega with KirsTim & yorkshirekiwi83, we were doing the Waves to Wairarapa event so visiting waypoints in the region. We were also trying to tackle 10 different cache types in a day, so this puzzle fit the bill. No problems finding the final, thanks for the cache!
21 October 2018 1:07 PM. A nice fun puzzle with good animation and situation placement. Would loved to have seen a themed cache at the final though. TFTC Petriez
Remember solving this one a while ago and showing Mrs B this simple but clever puzzle.
Today out with Tuolei he kindly agreed to come back (as he found it the day before) and wait while we made the grab. TFTC.

While out driving and caching with Team DnF (Drive n Find) I was able to solve this in the back seat. Got to the GZ, jumped out of the car and made the quick find. Thanks!
WENZ Mega Weekend is finally here... After experiencing broken sleep at our accommodation, it was time to pull it together and get out there... With Gap (of Fap and Gap) and NZFlossy...
Saturday: We really enjoyed solving this puzzle in the lead up to our Mega visit... It took a few sweeps to find the hint object at ground zone. A pleasing find today. TFTP and TFTC.

This was the seventh day of my twelve day trip to go to the Wellington Mega: The big day of the Mega. Even though there were several Geocaching things to do, I decided to try for eleven types in one day.

Team BOP have descended upon the Wellington region for the 2018 WENZ MEGA. We have a lot of caches to get through so there isn’t a lot of down time but it's great to meet the locals, CO’s and fellow cachers. My online logs are largely cut’n’pasted because my memory has started to blur many of my finds together so apologies for that. We’ve signed logs as ‘TeamBOP’ or individually depending on log space and time. Lastly a big Thank You to the Team - TNXPro, Davidsonclan, McJandals, NZFlossy, FapandGap & Squirrel Nutcase and to all the CO’s that made this a memorable trip
One of the few puzzles solved before the MEGA. As it happened, didn't even need to search - just followed team BoP to it and signed log!
I'm down for the Mega with thegreatauk. We're collecting solved puzzles while we're down here. This was a neat puzzle, thanks
Day 1 of Wellington Mega
Today's mission was to register, collect lab caches, other events and hopefully 11 different cache types in 1 day.
Tall order but we made it with a few minutes to spare.
We also collected other caches that we had solved prior to coming.
Turned into a bit of a day so sorry for the copy and paste of logs.
Thanks to the cache owners for the placement of these caches.
Looking at the greater picture of the Wellington area we have only scratched the surface so will be back at some stage. SLTFTC

On a long trip down to the mega with Lis's crew. So for me it good for numbers and favorites caches. With several stops and a lot of caches and several souvenirs up for grabs the trip was the perfect opportunity to get my numbers up and get some challenges that I have qualified for.
In Wellington for Mega with others from the Bay of Plenty.

Finally it's here, the wonderful WENZ Mega weekend! My son and I have been eagerly awaiting this weekend for over a year now. My apologies for the generic log, but with so many caches to log it's the only way to get through them all.
So today was the BIG day. The day of the Mega itself. The day my son and I would attempt to find 11 cache types in 1 day, plus experience our first Lab Caches, and our first Wherigo. And the day I hoped to find my 1000th cache!
With so much physical ground to cover today getting to the different cache types, it was always going to be a lot of effort to get it all done. So suddenly it was 6.30pm, and I was due to attend the organised Quiz Night at the Cossie Club, and I STILL hadn't found one of the 11th and last cache types I needed to achieve one of the main goals for the day, a Mystery Cache!
Another nearby cacher overheard my frustration and suggested I take a quick look at this one as it was reasonably straightforward. And so it turned out to be. Luckily I used to play darts quite a bit as a teenager so the co-ordinates for the final were soon calculated and then my lad and I were off to hunt it down. A quick find at GZ, a desperate signing of the log, a dash back to the car, and we made it to the quiz with 2 minutes to spare.
Thank you for placing this cache, and for helping make this Mega a truly memorable experience.

A day trip down to the WENZ 2018 Mega event in Upper Hutt from Palmy to both attend the event and attempt to get 11 different types of cache in one day. Also on the cards was a visit/pilgrimage to GC46 and Mr All7ofusNZ had Jr. Cacher #4 along for the ride.
Nearly time to be heading homeward but just enough time for a couple more caches on the way and this was one that we had solved earlier. All quiet at the final at this time of the early evening and no problems making the find. Thanks for the puzzle Petriez.

Winding down for the day as we are shortly to head off for a quiz but this quirky puzzle caught our eye and we came here to get it. I liked this idea for a cache and commend you - great way to come up with a solvable puzzle for cachers new to puzzles, well done.
Got to GZ and got a chuckle about the location - well done there. After a wee hunt about we found the cache and signed ourselves in as TeamDnF - (team drive'n'find), thanks for the cache all good here.

In anticipation of being in the area for the MEGA this weekend, we had solved a number of mysteries in the area. This one was a fun solve and a nice quick find. Found with NZTravellers, stik-a-crane and sethraven (and agazo and tramyard joined us here).
Solved and made the find along with Hemaludy, Stikacrane and NZ Travellers. What a neat idea for a puzzle and great place for the hide of the final. TFTC
In Wellington for the MEGA event and had a great time! Congratulations to the MEGA team for putting on such a great event and thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches. The Tim half of the team solved this puzzle easy peasey prior to coming down for the Mega, so was great to have the final coords to get our Mystery cache for our 10 types. No problems at the final, and thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
Attending the Wellington MEGA, was great to visit from the sunny Bay of Plenty, my finds have been found with my team, and signed TEAM BOP, to save room on logs. We are really enjoying ourselves and its great to see so many different sights. Please excuse my generic logging in advance and there are sooo many logs to do. Many thanks to all you cache owners out there for all your hard work. Cheers.

First day of mega weekend, today was all about the ferry ride and a few targeted caches on our way gradually to Upper Hutt. A few in town, some in Ngaio, and some success in Porirua (but a few fails also) before making our way eventually, and slightly late, to the first event of the weekend. Fish and chips in the park. Been hanging out for that. A frustrating day in some respects, but in hindsight the rest of the weekend was a solid success. Thanks for the caches to all COs.

We decided we would travel to WENZMEGA via the Wairarapa and return via the Akatarawas, caching along the way, but in a reasonably leisurely, pick and choose kind of way.
We had a beautiful day for our southward travels through the Wairarapa and over the Rimutakas.
Travelling was fairly easy until we began the ascent of the Rimutakas and found ourselves joining a continuous queue of vehicles travelling in both directions for the whole of the crossing. Turns out an accident earlier had caused delays and the consequent backlog of traffic took a while to sort out. We curtailed plans for any caches that would have necessitated trying to cross the traffic.
Into the Hutt Valley by now this was our last cache before heading off to check into our AirBNB. It is a nicely presented little puzzle, well-themed. Mrs G had worked it out a few days ago, and now knows something about Darts scoring. The hide was soon discovered and it is in an appropriate and easily accessible location. TFTC Gets a FP.

Decided there was time for one more cache, isn't there always, and identified this one as a puzzle by a CO that Ricardinho is targeting; A, D, R, W, X, Y and Z were this weekends targets and 3 of those were gained. Parked nearby and headed towards G Z as two muggles on bikes with their dog appeared. Turned out they were cachers, but not attending the events this weekend. Good to meet them both, and discover the dog's trackable on its collar before heading off for my accommodation for the night. T F T P and C wb1116.
The big day(s) has/have arrived. It's MEGA weekend in Wellington region and the culmination of lots of hard work by the organising committee. Also, not to be forgotten, are the caches of the local, and not so local COs, which help the game to continue and enable the enjoyment of others.
The trip has been planned for a while now and the Blenheim contingent of Ricardinho.nz and myself are coming over early on Friday morning on the Bluebridge ferry (after an early morning (non-) 'event') before returning on same mode of transport on Monday lunchtime.
We didn't manage much caching on the Friday but made up for that with 3 good days after and over 100 finds for the weekend to boost my Wellington region finds past my Nelson region ones and even giving my previously prolific Auckland numbers a 'nudge'.
Over the weekend there was plenty of socialising, sharing of ideas, opinions and interesting conversations and a podium spot for the Geosaders quiz team. Allied up with some new caching friends and remet several other rarely seen friends from other areas of the country. A good weekend all around and even the weather played nicely with a sunny outlook each of the days, without it being too warm and uncomfortable. Plenty of events attended, pleasant walks experienced, a couple of bike rides along the Hutt River as well as a smattering of GROET caches for which we were GLAD.
Thanks to all of the cache owners for their hides and listings and looking forward to the next time I visit the area to continue the enjoyment.

I've never played darts (well, not properly anyway) so after learning how to score the game I quickly solved the puzzle. At GZ Mr 4 made the find with a little guidance from me.
What an awesome day for caching, began the weekend after work on Friday and headed to Feilding to pick up the other half of the geocaching team. Heading off around 5.15pm. Getting a few caches Friday night before resting at our accomodation in paraparaumu beach for the night. Got up this morning at 5:30am ready to get our goal for the day being the rest of our 250 caches in February that we missed out on last year. We set off getting this cache as the first 1 of the day.
After doing some much needed research on how to score in a darts game, I soon realised what was required of me to solve the puzzle. Once at gz we had to wait for a creepy muggle to be on their way before we could make the find, looked in the most obvious place first and there it was. Signed the log and placed back exactly as we found it. Thanks for the cache and the puzzle.

Nicely done puzzle. Finally, on a spur of the moment I diverted off the highway to find this. Coords must be pretty good because I basically followed the GPS right to cache and found it immediately. TFTC.
I liked the puzzle and the fact it was a quick find today in the first place I looked. A good start to my caching day. Thanks for the interesting graphics and the cache.
Solved ages ago but was in the area Placing GC Titanic [Olympic Class Caches] after placing GC Olympic [Olympic Class Caches]. Found using nothing but photographic memory of where the cache is and a quick find. Then off to place GC Britannic [Olympic Class Caches]!
Nice little graphic and fun little puzzle. We saved this to collect at the end of our walk, and retrieved it just before getting into the car. Our walk today had us out for 4 hours, covering about 11km and 16 caches - a fantastic and enjoyable day! TFTC
I liked the puzzle and this morning I made a quick find of the container at the final location.

Another that I had solved a long time ago but not gotten around to getting. Today decided to fix that issue. Headed up to Upper Hutt after arriving back in Wellington this afternoon. Sun just starting to set behind the hills when made my find. What a stunning day it has been. Thanks for the puzzle and thanks for the cache.
Solved this over breakfast when I realised that I'd be coming up this way for a couple of specific target caches. Easy solve, easy find, although it took a moment to spot the right hint object

Firstly I learnt how to score Darts thanks to the CO and google which was helpful . After a few checks with CO to see if I had the right coordinates I was off on the hunt. Retrieved it on the 4th try because of muggles and puggles in the area every other day I tried. Very well hidden. That cache had been very lonely before I found it. It hadn't been found for about 28 weeks. +fav point for great cache. TFTC and thanks for placing
#2589. I needed several caches today and with a clear moonlit night, decided to venture a bit further from home and pick up some caches in Upper Hutt. Must have solved this puzzle at least three times previously but kept misplacing the coordinates. So another quick solve tonight and up to Totara Park. The cache was found in the first place checked. Not a muggle in sight on a winter's night but there were a few cars parked in the area. A well crafted puzzle and appropriate hiding place. Favourite awarded.

#272 happy to have started my adventure into mystery caching! Managed to find this one quite quickly. My father plays a lot of darts and is here every Thursday. Easy to solve the coordinates. Tftc.

Good puzzle. Solved a while ago. In area today at not too bad a time considering the possible muggles nearby. And only a ride on lawn mower in the distance. Easy find but the Lawn mower roared back and had to wait till out of way. TFTC and the puzzle.

First I researched dart scores. The numbers I determined did not make sense when plotted on Google earth. Then I realised that there is more to dart scoring than adding up numbers so I applied the extra factor, but unfortunately the result still did not make sense.
After some thought I realized that there is another way of using the dart numbers. Plotted on Google Earth the location made sense.
This afternoon I went looking for the cache. The carpark is at the back of a school and waiting Mums park their SUVs there. One was parked next to GZ with the air con running. Grrrrr!!! To fill in time I went looking for another puzzle cache (unsuccessful). I returned well after school time. The cache was soon in hand.

Finally reached the inner circle after previous attempts and was only able to go round in circles while dodging muggles.
Got a score good enough to qualify for the final round but then failed some time ago to hit the target.
An easy bullseye today on the first attempt. Looking at the log I suspect that earlier versions were a bit trickier.

Bullseye indeed ! Realised why the theme for the cache as I got near GZ. TFTC !
Finally found it after so much mucking around. Lesson learnt solving puzzles as this was my first. TFTC.
Played football many times on that park but didn't even realise there was a darts club nearby.
Loved the clues and hints and easily located. TFTC.

Thanks - the 'arrers' led me to two possible solutions, so I decided to seek them out whilst I was up this way. Quickly honed in on the target score. This is one of the few 'sports' I play better after a few drinks (mind you it's hard to get worse!)....TFTC.

Solved this one a long time ago, but never got round to looking for it until recently. First time we tried there was a muggle parked almost on top of GZ, waiting in her car, so we walked on and left it for another day. That day finally dawned: I needed one cache to continue a streak and thought it had better be this one. Got to GZ and no muggles about this time. Didn't take long to find the cache and sign the log. Very pleased to have finally turned this one into a smiley. TFTC
10 puzzle caches in 10 days take 2. Day 3. Nice cache. Love the graphics. Easy find on the way home to keep the streak going.

A golden autumn afternoon, very pleasant weather for being out and about. Warm and sunny.
Loved the connection with the cache puzzle and the final location. Clever.
A straightforward find on this cache.
All in order; log signed, cache then safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too

Interesting indeed, found it on the second look as we were sure we had the right spot. Cheers.
