After over seven weeks on the road, I'm back home and finally catching up on all my logging.Caching in South Australia was fantastic, so many good hides to find, and we found ourselves zigzagging all over the place doing lots of geoart but of course ran out of time to get everything done on our to-do list. The majority of caches we found were in great condition and well maintained, which is a credit to all the CO's who placed them, so thank you.Our logs were mostly signed as 5 for QLD to save room on the log sheets, and no doubt, we'll be back again in the near future
Up today in the Sedan area for some challenge caches, being reminded of the couple of weeks we spent here in 2022.Log signed as "6 for QLD" to save spaceLog signed and cache replaced as found on Wednesday 6th March 2024. TFTC, firesafe.

Day 18 of our loop through Vic and SA then home.
Our last day together on this trip, we headed even further afield from Loxton. fitzy_1965, albida33 & I signed as MAF or FAM to save room.
Mannum was our target, along with two OTD series, some oldies and some nice D/T’s.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

Southern Autumn adventure Day 19. Post Mega South East SA trip Day 13. For our last day of caching together, we had to look quite a far way off from Loxton. we ended up heading all the way to Mannum to visit two OTD series. Along the way there were several other aches to be found and importantly an Canberra Lab cache as well. Caching was with Fitzy_195, MinnieK and albida33 and logs were signed as F.A.M. or similar, It turned into quite a long late drive home but we have had a great few weeks caching during and after the Rutherglen event and I cannot wait to do it all again on even more South Australian cache series

We got to do the ferry ride at Swan Reach twice again which we always enjoy This was the next find of the day, and it was a quick find once at GZ. Today I and J plus the little one travelled to the East, to watch stars, and take ferries in Walker Flat and Swan Reach. We planned to try some caches on the way, including traditional cache, multi-cache, mystery cache, Wherigo Cache, Earthcache, and adventure lab cache.
This was the eighth find for today.
Made a tiny detour to find this cache.
Approached from the wrong side, made it unnecessarily harder.
Cache has been found easily. Thanks for the hint.
Good-sized container. Took nothing, left nothing. TBs visited. Signed the log book.

Hi there firesafe.
We found your cache **"Three Chain Pioneers"** today. (This makes our find count 22044).
Today we headed out from Mount Pleasant to attempt the BMT series - but we also had to find this one. As it's not part of the series it deserves a finely crafted log, not one of the crappy cut-n-paste ones that usually are associated with power trails. It's really nice to see the cache has a sticker on it that Ian designed so many years ago. There was much debate on the forum about whether to have flies on it or not.
We found 36 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 6m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

We were out for a caching hunt today with ilook4geo, while spending a few days in the Palmer area. After the cache had been found and the log had both names inscribed to register our visit, we were soon on our way to look for more caches to increase the tally for the day. Our thanks go to firesafe for putting this cache into play.
Had a good caching day today with goingplaces2 and this was where our day ended. This was a nice easy find and log was signed. Each cache found was different and we had a lot of fun. TFTC.
Out with woolwood9 and we enjoyed getting some more finds in the area.

Found. What an amazing piece of history. Life must have been hard here in the 1800's.
Headed over the hills with Mr Froghoppin for some escape from the Adelaide rains.

Bloody rabbits. The Chinese sure knew how to deal with [rabbit problems](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfSfU6ph8Cs).
The cache was found in the second place I looked, but retrieving it was another matter. I eventually exposed the screw-top lid, and the logbook was duly signed.

OMG, you certainly need strength to get this container out of the hiding spot! I tried and failed, fortunately Ozibags had his spinach for brekky and eventually pulled it out for us to sign!
This spot also sparked some thoughts and questions for us, WHY do cemeteries around here have a sign which says something like: "PLEASE KEEP THE GATE CLOSED" on their pedestrian gates [?] Is it to make sure no one escapes from the cemetery[?] LOL
Out and about with Ozibags today where we enjoyed a beautiful country drive [^] on a gorgeous day [^] whilst having fun (gotta love lots of silly talk and laughter) [^], and picking up a few caches [^].
Not only did we have an awesome day, but we also had a few unexpected adventures.......including almost managing to get shot at [xx(] by a very scary angry muggle who clearly had a few issues (which also meant at least one of the caches we found will likely need archiving).....I do wonder what may have been cultivating on that property [?] [:(!].......but before we knew how our day was going to unfold, this was one of our stops

Went for a drive with GoodLook today to find a few geocaches and enjoy the sunny warm weather. I finally managed to extract the cache after much pulling and manipulation. We discussed why a cemetery would need a 'please shut the gate' sign, but after reading the description about rabbit proof fencing it makes sense. Can't have the critters burrowing into the crypts! TFTC firesafe.
found on the way up to the camp and kayak weekend at roonka. was attacked by bull ants here.
Really like where this cache is, Didn't have the time to go in but will certainly return to read some history. TFTC
