Unable to sign log, not reachable. We saw the cache but will not claim a find as many others have as we didn't sign the log.
I can see the cache, but it has fallen to the bottom of its location and cannot be reached.
not sure if found spot. found silver hat but no container of swaps so not 100% sure if found
This was our first go at GeoCaching with my boys. No idea where to look unfortunately.
Found it but the same as the previous log it was about 300mm down. I made the appropriate tool from nearby vegetation. Signed the log and put back a bit closer to the top. TFTC
Found it! We could see it but we couldn't reach it so we haven't written in the log! Owner will have to retrieve it from half way down for other people to be able to write in the log. Thanks
CPwanderer, GoodLook and I headed off for a weekend in Port Lincoln via an overnight stop in Whyalla
Our weekend was unexpectedly extended by a day due to illness and so my tally at the end of the 'weekend' was 168 cache finds
Sadly this was marred by a massive 28 DNFs
Port Lincoln, despite being virgin caching territory for all 3 of us, did not provide us with the pleasure that we had anticipated
So many of the caches were bison tubes and those that we did find, quite often were in places where a larger cache could have been hidden The other issue was the lack of maintenance on many caches
There are people trying their best to maintain the 'wheres wolly' cache hides however their resources are stretched thinly..... so if you are heading over, please pack heaps of cache maintenance containers, bags and log books and help out where you can. [^]
That being said, the trip was still a blast and some great caches were found and great views were seen!
Woohoo! Not only is there a big dipper but there is also a cache... and we found it

Very easy find!!!
This was one of the caches found on a three day odyssey on the Eyre Peninsula! Myself, GoodLook and locuscache had never cached south of the Cowell/Cleve area so we had high hopes of some great caching. We worked our way down through Port Neil and Tumby Bay and grabbed those along the highway plus a few a little further afield.
Our time in and around Port Lincoln was frustrating. Lots very small micros, lots of very rusty tins and more dnfs than ive ever had in a day before this. We were very fortunate that local cacher , Roming Wendy joined as. Her expert knowledge of the town certainly helped. A medical issue had us stay a third day. This worked out very well as we could do some relaxed caching on our way home.
A special thanks to Roming wendy for her help and to those who hid caches in the area … particularly the Geo-Ambos, Wheres Wolly and Viper231. Special thanks also to my “mildly obsessive” caching buddies on this trip …………………………… amazing fun!!

Found whilst on a road trip with CPwanderer and Locus Cache, with the aim of the weekend to cache in and around Port Lincoln - fresh territory for us all. We certainly had a great time, however with a DNF rate of about 40% [:(!], it was tough going! We did however thoroughly enjoy the beautiful locations and scenery.
After joking all day on the Sunday we should spend another night in Pt Lincoln, circumstances presented that meant we needed to extend our time away! We took it slowly on the way home which enabled us to once again visit some terrific places
Thanks for the cache

Was hard to find as it said look for the 1ltr water bottle. But did find it under a silver hat
Last one for this trip. I have enjoyed the hunt where's wolly, you have taken me all over the place . Hopefully next trip I can find a few more of your caches. Cheers for now . All good at GZ.
Found at 12:44 PM GAFF1 in the company of maccamob. We signed the log book as "M&P".
We thought that we were going to be in the cemetery! A nice hide and for once the previous hider placed the log book the right way round
Thanks wheres wolly.
Feedback: The description still says it's a 1 ltr container.

Camping at Coffin Bay, on our 2nd trip around Australia.
Decided to have a look around the area, and pick up some caches on the way.
Visited some bushland & some other interesting places.
The cache was found quickly, thanks for the hunt today, wheres wolly.

Talk about rubbing salt into wounds. A ride up this hill after battling a head wind all the way back from the airport is not what I needed. The camo covering the cache is firmly secured and I couldn't get it to budge free. I suspect either a strong man or a tool will be required to reach the cache and I had neither. I took a photo as proof of my visit. Ended up having to walk some of the hill; it was too much at the end of a long day. Thanks for the hide.
What a huge tree on the edge of the cemetery , Would not want to go off course on The Big Dipper [B)]; SL, TFTC
We are camping at Louth Bay & have chosen to do a day of caching in Port Lincoln.
It was a mixed day of caching, some finds & a couple of DNFs. Noticed Ministro commented on a few.
This was one we did find today.
Thanks wheres wolly

Luckily Mr Bushies2 read the logs and noticed that wheres wolly has changed the coordinates so we put coords in our GPSr and arrived at GZ...Ms Bushies2 spotted it as it looked suspicious...yes it was that one...sneaky cache! Interesting to hear about geo-wife's younger time with riding down the steep road! Thanks wheres wolly.
21st of our 40 finds today. It was a quick and fun cache as we made our way around Port Lincoln and the surrounding area. GeoPooch gave this a 4 paw rating!! TFTH
Got to GZ and no luck, the area has been turned over.
But with where wolly in pursuit again we found out our pocket query was out of date and he sent us to GZ for a quick find.
It's like having your own guardian caching angle.
Cheers

we had to move this cache for the third time as council has been cleaning up here .where this cache is at home now it should be able to live there for a very long time the new co-ordinates are as follows
S34.42.528
E 135.50.645
happy caching travel safely
S34.42.528
E 135.50.645

this cache was archived by mistake and it has been moved as they have done a lot of cleaning up here it was a regular but we had to change it to a micro so it can live where it is .
The new co-ords take you to the edge of the road by a lamp-post - the verge has been freshly graded. Not sure if we just didnt search enough but there really didnt seem to be much to search around.
We loved the story behind the cache even if we didnt find it.
thanks

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! It would be fun riding down but I would want to find the easy way up. John Denver was playing on the car radio after we left this cache.
WW gave us a heads up that this one was still in place. Why have I got that song "thank God I'm a country Boy" ringing in my ears now? Clear skies!
