#2405. Nice cache idea. But the cache, as the title suggested, was not in good shape. The cover was broken and couldn't shut properly. The logsheet was pretty soaked, but managed to sign on the extra piece of paper left by the previous cacher. Took a photo all the same. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Quick find. No log sheet to sign so just reassmebled the cache and put it back in its place.
Found cache, but a neighbour came out and i think was upset with us being there as it is so out in open, plus he was anxious about trees being damaged. Cover wasnt there and all sodden and we couldnt hang around because of the neighbour.
Successfully found with Crazy Hunters duo. Yep, right - logbook is wet, can't log Nice idea BTW! TFTF!

Interesting idea for a cache. But the lid seems to be missing, the log book soaking wet and turned to paper mâché, so my efforts to sign failed. My route to the cache took me right into a newly planted kauri tree, about 1.5m from the cache so maybe a new location could be considered.
4228 Nice little cache, shame the log is so wet - managed to write our name but needs maintenance, please.
Absolutely pouring when we arrived at this one, so we had to wait for a break in the rain. No problem finding the cache, but felt very conspicuous here. The cover was not on the 'container' and the logsheet was too wet to sign. Needs maintenance. Liked the cache theme, Thanks.

I had a bit of difficulty getting to this one without being spotted by muggles! They seemed to be having a meeting in the carpark!!
After waiting for ages, managed to slip into the bush. Found the spot, and was looking at it for a while...knew from the title what the form of the cache would be (Nice camo btw!) But couldn't seem to get it...
then realised I just hadnt looked hard enough! So got it, signed the log, and done! Yay!

Out and about with the Y-Cacho's.
Once we worked out which level to be on it was an easy find. Cool container!
Many thanks

Can't seem to see it, can't make it to obvious looking for something though as muggles parked near to location, will have to come back!
Owing to the Flash Mob Event being on this morning it was time to get onto the caches in and around the Domain.
I came here before the event but there was a muggle parked in the most inapropriate spot. So I back here again after the event and everything was OK.
The log needs to be replaced.
Cheers for the cache.

Great Hide, nice container..... felt a little expose trying to find this one though. TFTC
one of my faves of the night, cool to see something a bit different for a change. TFTC
Thought I would grab a couple of quick caches on my way home this evening. Had turned my GPS off as I was driving past the Catherdal, but remembered having a through look at the cache listing this afternoon. So decided to give it a go without waiting for the GPS to fire up. Pulled into Catherdal Place, jumped out, saw a likely spot, made my way to GZ and quickly spotted the cache in the impending gloom. An original container to be sure. Cheers for the cache!
Found with Greg, Sam and David on a nice walk from the Domain to Parnell and back. Thanks for the company!

Quick, easy find... amazing how out of place it seems when you think about it! =) TFTC!
Had a bit of a look around but felt very uncomfortable about walking on the garden. Didn't see it.
Brilliant! Good cache idea, nice place, probably the closest I've ever had a cache pop up on my iPhone about 50 m
A quick find on an evening walk while staying in Auckland. Logsheet was a bit damp but had obviously been a lot wetter and had mostly dried out with the fine weather spell. Signed log, TFTC!
Got inspected by a very inquisitive cat. Dunno about this location - in full view of the residents across the street. Have to time visit carefully also. TFTC
Decided to have a look as I was walking past on my way to the Domain. Found cache quickly. The log book is definitely stuffed. Signed and squeezed in a new piece of paper in a plastic bag. TFTC
Sorry guys - this cache has taken a back seat over my others as it can still be signed, but it will be replaced before October!
Will replace log by the 14th

This is no 480 for us! We signed but didn't date the very saturated log - I know just how the poor thing feels after all the weeks of rain. The few hours of sun today mark a break in our longest non caching period to date since starting. Did a couple quick finds before yet more rain as we returned to the car. It is a very clever idea for a cache. TFTC
Log is very wet, just managed to make my mark on it. Needed the clue but a quick find with that.

Nightcaching tour in Auckland to accommodate with the jetlag...nice walkaround with loads of caches..
Probably not the best of days to visit but managed a discrete find. Great cache container T4TC.
Found at a time of day when otherwise would most certainly have been very busy here.
Loved the never-go-flat 'battery' !!

Had to use the elevated option to find this one. Quick easy find on a quite Saturday afternoon. TFTC
Found this cache after initially scaring the daylights of muggles as she walked pass. Nice spot for a cache, interesting hide and camo. TFTC TNLNSL (2023)
Novel hide! A bit of a cacher trail is developing through the bush, which is a bit of a shame. T4TC - M@
Thanks for your concern, ishoot.
I will see if I can replace the cache with a fully functioning radio instead of the one that is already there.
Cheers,
Davedeve

Tricky spot to get to, but I managed. Radio not working. Cache works fine.(log a little damp.) TFTC
Saw fuzzy's log on the way over and being 6'7 decided to take the challenge and take the low road up to the cache. One smallish step to get up there and one giant leap off after the log was successfully signed. TFTC
Cache is inside a larger object. You need to sign the logbook or email [email protected] to log your find.
Murpheys Law - Was over in Greenhithe doing some afternoon caching to get to the 500 milestone () when this one popped up so as we were on our way home we did a quick driveby. Weren't so keen on the entrance from the top and the way in from the bottom was hard too unless you happened to be 7 ft tall! TFTC
