After having a quiet day yesterday it was time to tackle the Paddle Steamer Series. We had solved the puzzle components starting before Covid hit and then finalizing them during that time as we worked with our eldest grandson on his home learning.Setting out reasonably early in the morning it was a cool start to the day, but that soon turned into a marvelous day to be out and about. Warm sunshine, blue skies and only the faintest hint of a breeze. The roads the caches were on today were good country gravel roads with little traffic, although it will take some time to get all the dust out of the car. During our travels we saw kangaroos, emus and many different birds. Some beautiful parrots. A few wild goats were encountered and we believe it is they that have inflicted some damage on a number of caches.Coordinates for the caches were spot on which made searching a much easier and quicker task. There were some tee climbs, but nothing we needed to deploy the TOTT for.Congratulations to the Mildura Crew on a really well developed series of geoart so far.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache doheng.**SKI Pair****
Thanks to doheng for this hide. we had discussed the silos on the way to Werrimull this morning. After a busy few hours with the Paddle Steamer trail we were heading back to Red Cliffs and thought that we would stop here and find the cache.A lovely day, loads of sunshine.
In the local area completing the Paddle Steamer Series so we had to stop on the side of the road to grab this cache too. Found in good order. TFTC.
Day 2 of our trip from Adelaide to the Canberra Geobash Mega Event. Travelling from Werrimull to Hay and grabbing a few caches along the way. We didnt have to go far before stopping for this one. TFTC doheng
We have now moved into Victoria, staying at Cullulleraine staying at the Tranquil Waters Caravan Park. After stop & start of the PS Series it was a pleasure to find a couple of other cachesThe weather has been close to 40 degrees each day & we are pleased to get back into the airconditioned car after each find. This was a great way to visit the area. Thanks doheng for hiding this cache.
Found whilst touring painted silos with MoSSau Cache container was a little stubborn coming out of its hide Log retrieved and signedTftc
Konie and I are on an adventure heading south and west. After finishing the paddle steamer series, we were headed back to Red Cliffs and decided to stop off at this cache. A quick find was made and the log signed before we continued on our way. TFTC
Out with Selva Girls today doing the Paddle Steamer series. Lots of interesting hides and containers with good coords. Log signed and all returned as found. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy. TFTC doheng I took along some trackables for a visit.
Day 3 of Chook and OzHockeyChick's "QOGM-consolation" roadtrip, targeting caches in three states over four days of fun, friendship, laughter and adventure. Today we were heading from Mildura to do a quick Riverland Run day trip before heading back to Vic for the night. We needed a leg stretch about here to break our journey back to Vic from Barmera, and this fitted the bill perfectly. It was even in the cache description This was quite a simple hide but just nicely hidden as Chook walked straight past it. Luckily OHC spotted it before we needed to do the geocache dance with our GPS's. TFTC doheng.
With a huge portion of the Victorian caching community enjoying their pilgrimage north to Longreach, chook(nchunk) and I decided to plan our own little mini-adventure, targetting adlabs, solved puzzles, faves, TDOCs and anything else that piques our interest along the way. Day Three: Renmark, Berri, Sea Lake, Culgoa. As suggested, we stopped here to stretch our legs, and sign the log amidst the unrelenting flies. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, doheng ~~

Out with dty73 and Tankengine on a cache tour around Balarat. Found on way to PS series. Kutgw
Tankengine, Youban and I were part of the MMA Team from Canberra over the couple of days in Mildura. We had a lot of fun with our friends and found some great caches.
The PS Series was our main aim though, so it was nice to knock these off and have a pretty yellow paddlesteamer on the map.
Most caches were in good condition and some seemed to have been moved from their original hiding spot and/or nibbled on (probably by animals as we found them laying in the open with the log in one direction and the container in another and the eaten ones we could see they were teeth marks). The roads were mainly clear and wide and although there had been some rain, the conditions were all ok.
This Cache: All good here. Tftc!!!

We are heading back to Mildura after attempting a few of the Paddle Steamer caches today but water on some of the roads was an issue. A quick stop for this cache and found without a problem. Thanks to doheng for the cache.

fitzy_1965 and I decided to head away for an extra long weekend so that we could attend the Tri-State Community Celebration Events along with the other events that have popped up.
A fantastic time was had and a nice number of caches found. Thanks to all the CO's for holding the events and/or placing the caches.
We spent the night at the Euston Club Hotel: an amazing room for only $90 and thanks to Service NSW for pitching in the other $50. Up early to make the trek back to Mildura for breakfast at a local cafe. A tad noisy but not complaining about the company! Whilst at breakfast we made plans to Yushaun & Laighside Legends to do the Lock Island wherigo and a couple more along the way then the new virtual before heading back to NSW for the morning CITO. Next was a couple of multis before tackling more of the Turtle series. Looking for something to do before heading to the last event for the weekend, we stumbled this fantastic area dotted with 4Moule/TheMoules gadget caches. Just fantastic with lots of favourite points given out! Now picking up a few more as we head to the event in the Murray-Sunset area.
It was wonderful to see cachers we hadn't seen for a while and to meet several new ones. There ended up being cachers from SA, Vic, NSW, Tas & QLD! Amazing!

Out & about with Trigger_Fish, AnyMules & KiwiOzzie today heading to the Murray-Sunset CP for the evening event picking up a few caches along the way.
We took a bit of a detour as I had to rectify the blue sad face. I spotted it almost straight away. I don't know how I missed that last time I was here. Very glad I now have a smiley.

28,512. Found with minniek while visiting the region for the Tri-State Community Events/International Geocaching Day weekend.
When minniek and I heard about the huge 8 event weekend (4 Community Celebration Events, 3 'normal' events and 1 CITO) to be held in Berri/Wentworth/Mildura/Euston celebrating International Geocaching Day, we knew that we wanted to be there. After two very busy days, we enjoyed the hour sitting enjoying a coffee and a nice breakfast to get the energy for the day ahead. We then headed out for more caches. This was the next one. We started to head down to the Camping CCE location, and this was a bonus cache along the way. Quick find at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on to the next one.
Thanks doheng !!

Hevwalker had a previous DNF here so we had to visit today to rectify that. She was the one who spotted it so that was good karma.

Found on our way to the PS series. We couldn't find this one on our last visit, so pleased to find it today.
Excited to find a pathtag that we picked up, then realised it was one of our good friends Little Squirrels tags that we already have, so we will hand it on to someone at the Community Celebration event in town tomorrow.

This was a great opportunity to get away with some caching friends in Mildura. The plan was to hit some of the local trails and geo art. There was many other hides discovered, with some really great containers and hides in the area.
This was the first on a early morning start on the nearby geo art. A quick drive by this morning.
Thanks doheng for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

JAMS found two and I could not even find one...after a really long caching weekend I think my Mojo has gone AWOL
After an 18 month geocaching hiatus, this March long weekend I tagged along with Mogni, Sir Specture, JJ52 and Allister (caching as the Mystery Randoms) to conquer the Mildura Paddle Steamer and Turtle. We were lucky to encounter good weather, fine caches and a lot of red dust! Many thanks to 4Moule and the Mildura caching community for creating an entertaining geo-destination. TFTC! See you again soon.
found on route to the paddle steamer geo art.
A group of South Australians jumped to border in to Victoria for the long weekend. The group was Allister W, JJ52, Mogni, Sir_spectre, and BratKat. All logs stamped as " Mystery Random's ". We left Adelaide and headed over to Mildura. The target for the puzzlers was to clear the highway caches then complete the " Turtle series " and the " Paddle Steamer series " since they had solved all the puzzles before coming over. My target was the D5/T5 underwater field puzzle and also hoping to get up to 13000 finds this trip ( that was achieved ). Once those goals where filled we mainly targeted caches with high favourite points and started on the many multi's that are in Mildura. I highly enjoyed the field puzzles and themed caches from the locals and sorry to say that we only did 1 of the night caches. On the 2nd night after doing 356 caches during the day it bucketed down that night and we had a beer/wine or two instead. We will be back, maybe not this year, but it will be the sooner, not later.

A long weekend with a big plan. A group attack on the powertrails near Mildura. Two of us solved all the puzzles and then covid hit so they got put into the get around to it one day basket... Covid back under control so a plan was hatched to go interstate for the first time in over a year and be allowed to return without having to isolate for 2 weeks. Joined up with sir_spectre, JJ52, Allister W and Bratkat. We cached as the mystery randoms which suited us while well. Both powertrails were found and we managed to grab a few others while travelling around. I am usually a regular visitor Mildura but it had been a couple of years between trips. I am sure we will all be back to complete the many great caches we researched but din't have time to find. Thanks for a great weekend.

A plan was made for a group of us, (mogni, sir_spectre, allister w, BratKat and myself) to head over to Mildura for the long weekend as the borders are now open and we wouldn't have to quarantine on the way back. [^]
Two of us spent a long time solving all the puzzles in the Turtle and Paddle Steamer series along with the other puzzles around Mildura, but they were put away waiting for the time when we could get over to find the caches.
We had a very busy weekend and managed to find all of the Turtle and Paddle Steamer caches along with some of the high favourited caches, an Adventure Lab, one night cache, quite a few gadget caches and a couple of water caches...and then we ran out of time.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great time finding lots of different caches and we will have to make a return trip to find those that we didn't get around to.
All caches stamped "Mystery Randoms" [^]
This was another one found as we headed to start the paddle steamer series. We spent quite a while here looking in all the possible hiding spots and had to resort to reading through logs. Took notice of one that said it was nicely tucked away and very soon after Allister found the replacement I spotted the original. The original container was in very bad shape and just about fell to pieces in my hand. We had another container of similar size in the car so we took most of the contents of the original including the original log book and the log book in the replacement and put all in the new container and placed that where the original was found. The GPSr had us about 7 metres away. The cache is very well hidden and tucked in a hollow covered by natural camo. [^]
Thanks for the cache and the adventure doheng.

Mildura was a target caching destination for Spiffy- and I with the many art trails here and in S.A. Lockdown was the perfect opportunity to solve them all but we had to wait to visit. Finally a window opened up and together with geopartner the 3 of us headed off.
After a long day we headed home but couldn't resist a drive by cache... took a few minutes to find as was well tucked away.
Thanks to MilduraGeoCrew for the placement and fun.

Found on a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Team Waldron, Brisal5 and FeatherWaite. Our main targets were the Paddle Steamer and Turtle geoart series' but we also took the opportunity to seek out a few other caches along the way.
We were fortunate with the weather. After a burst of very hot days, we timed our trip nicely to coincide with the milder conditions before the next hot spell. That helped to make both the caching and the camping along the Murray River and in the Murray-Sunset National Park very pleasant.
We ended up finding all the caches that we had targeted. Most were in good order. Some of the puzzles were quite challenging and there were some very novel and entertaining multi's. Some certainly took a bit of finding and there were many very clever and/or tricky caches and containers that were a credit to the cache owners’ ingenuity.
It would have been good to have had another day or two to complete the remaining caches in the area, but I’m sure we’ll be back.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides.

Found during a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Brisal5, e.gregory1 and Team Waldron with the main aim to complete the Paddle Steamer and Turtle GeoArt series but also to find other caches along the way. We camped out on the banks of the Murray River near Mildura on the first night, at Rocket Lake campground in the Murray-Sunset National Park on the second night, then back to the banks of the Murray River near Merbein on the last night. We signed the logs as B.E.F.W. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the cache!

We were both distracted by the lovely large rusty tin possibility.

Rather than waste time we decided to find some caches around the area. This was one of 20 before we headed out to the PS series..
We were now on the way to the ps series.

Found at 1:55 PM GAFF?.
On our way to a bush camp in the Murray Sunset NP which will be used as our base camp for the PS series and we stopped to do this cache as it had a very convenient turn around spot for our caravan
Looked all around and nothing could be found, so on behalf of the CO (who will be visiting in a few days) we replaced the cache with a small red plastic jar.
Thanks doheng.
