Once we found the correct lounge it was a relatively easy find. Cache is in good condition
Chewbacca72 and I are traveling during 4 months through Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. A few caches that are on our way should not be missing. This cache is one of them. Of course we took the cool short cut. That was a lot of fun! Many thanks to Liz and Bruce (maintenance by Bushies2) for hiding. Best regards, searchersab
Cache was open and scattered on the road so an easy find. We have put it back together and placed back where it looks like it belongs and lines with the hint.
Unfortunately cant cross at the moment. Too much water pouring over. My son drove me out to grab this one. Thanks.
Quick find while visiting Kununurra. Too much water at the moment, no crossing for sure!
We arrived on the right side to grab this cache but crossed the Ivanhoe twice anyway just because we could. Lots of people barra fishing today. Lovely spot. No crocs spotted though. Tftc and tthx Darryl for replacing.
Traveling with richlink to Darwin and beyond picking up a cache or two along the way. We grabbed this bonus cache while doing a nearby EarthCache, thanks Liz and Bruce.
We took a bit of a detour today while touring around Kununurra with ilook4geo and stopped here to find this cache. It was an easy find in the expected place and the log was soon signed.
Thanks go to Liz and Bruce for placing this cache and to Bushies for maintaining it.

Picking up just a few caches around the Kununurra area and this one was on the target list. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.
What a beautiful location, very quiet here today. Made a quick find. Looking forward to exploring more of this part of state.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
I’ve enjoyed the sunsets at Ivanhoe crossing for 3 of the last 4 nights and managed to convince a work colleague to get us across the river in his 4x4.
Enjoyed a beer on the other side and watched the sunset before crossing back and going home in the dark.
Thanks for the find. A magical place.

Quick find and took the GC on offer. The water looked very inviting. Some of the locals were swimming so we hopped in with them for a very short swim trusting they were telling us the truth about crocs in the vicinity. All good, thanks, enough for a quick cool off after a disastrous trip to Twin Pools earlier. Will take to Darwin and drop off somewhere there.
Find 2 of 17 with 1 DNF on an action packed day, with a whirlwind tour of Kununurra and then out to Emma Gorge for a fabulous walk/swim/meal and return under the stars.
Quick find here after our first run across. Dropped off a TB. Excellent location, a must visit.

Passing back through Kununurra and very excited to see that firesafe had replaced this cache for Liz and Bruce after we’d marked a DNF on our previous visit. A great excuse to cross the Ivanhoe again, which is always a buzz, and a nice easy find exactly where we thought it should be, lounging around. TFTC
Spending the afternoon doing some tourism around Kununurra by geocaching. TFTC.
Replaced the container for the CO. Try checking out the big tree lounging around.

Please replace this one if possible. May be missing. With thanks and kind regards Liz and Bruce
Crossed the river... great fun. But searched high and low and could not find this one today. Plenty of muggles around. TFTC
Busy spot today. Hot and the weekend! Lots of people cooking off in the water of the crossing.
Found the replacement cache quickly.

Had to come the long way round for this one as we don’t have a high 4WD clearance but what a lovely spot TFTC
We had a thorough look but came up empty handed so followed instructions & replaced it. Its only a mint tin I am afraid as that was all we had to hand.....we even had to quickly finish off the mints. TFTC LizandBruce
Please replace this cache if you see it is missing. With thanks Liz and Bruce
Had a good look. Found a good hidey hole where we think it should have been but no luck finding. May need to be checked?
Hello from England! After exploring the beautiful Bungle Bungles we came to pretty Kununarra for a bit of r&r. As so much of the Kimberley area is dry this year, someone mentioned this crossing to us so that at least we could experience a wet crossing in our 4x4 hire car! After watching a few others (as we don't have a snorkel) we decided it was safe enough, so one of us drove across, then we found the trad cache easily, before the other of us drove us back. Great fun! TFTC [10328]
Touring from Tasmania and finally got to do a river crossing. Did get a small fright when I saw the snake skin on the cache container. Braved it and reached in. Soon had the log signed. Now back across Ivanhoe. Tftc
Found the cache, hasn’t been moved in some time and there was snake skins on top of it, was a bit worried sticking my hands down the hole
Continuing on with my trip around the top end and decided to take the dirt and the backway in to Kununurra.
So if you take the back way in of you course you come to this crossing and being this time of year the water was not to high
And if you come to this crossing how could you not drive across it.
So the Cruiser and Campertrailer did it easy.
At least underneath the cruiser finally got a wash.
Thanks Liz and Bruce and Bushies2 TFTC

Was so looking forward to find another earthcache with my muggle hubby. We're from the Gold Coast and we hired a hi-top campervan for our business road trip from Darwin to Halls Creek. Wish this cache had the right attribute, we would not have bothered driving towards the unsealed road.
Thanks for taking us 12km to the cache, a 4wd came flying in our direction and covered us with WA earth.

Quick find but hard to get to with all the ants. Great fun driving over the crossing and heaps of cows watching our hunt.
Day 28 of The Northern Adventure with megawat60 and Two + Four. We are now in Kununurra. A few stops on the way to the Hoochery, lunch and a tasting, then off for more caching. Greatly enjoyed crossing the Ivanhoe twice today, just to get the caches on the other side. Thanks for this cache Liz and Bruce.
Out with m4yb and the Two+Four team after completing the GRR, we are now slowly heading home getting a cache or 3 on the way. Nice crossing hope it cleaned my car a bit! Left my path tag in this one.
Thanks for the hide & smiley. Liz & Bruce

Out and about with Megawat60 and MY4B on our northern adventure to conquer the mighty Gibb River Road and claim caches as we go.
Well spotted by Megawat60. The crossing was exciting especially with a large fresh water croc sunning himself on the rocks off to the left. TFTC

Quickly found in such a beautiful area. We were just a few minutes late to see two 4wd come over the crossing. Thanks for the hide.
Device was pointing right, so I went left and found the cache! Apparently caching up here works in different ways! First time we were here I wouldn’t let them cross, this time I had no choice! TFTC.
The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 14. A morning in and around Kununarra was followed by a Ord River crossing as the Ivanhoe crossing and a back roads trip to Wyndham for dusk.
There was a steady stream of traffic going both ways here today. I found the cache OK, but then people wanted use the side track I was in so had to move. Eventually it was all over. The crossing itself was fun. twice.
Thanks.

Found this one after a chat with the guardian cows. They mooved before I could get a picture. TFTC
Great find, thanks to the cow who gave a wink. Having fun with my adventure and geocache buddy Baby904.
Having some R & R in K town, revisiting Ivanhoe wa high on our list, Geo son wanted to have a fish while we were here, he didn't catch anything but Geo Mum found a nice Bower bird nest

logging in retrospect. Found with me again on the 19/7/17. Crossing closed water flowing fast. Great drive to get to the other side and a great look from a different direction. TFTC
Pitty we could not cross The crossing as the water was to high but what a view thanks for hide.
Found at 2:43:00 PM. In Kununurra for a few days and grabbing some of the local caches.
Thanks Liz and Bruce.
Thanks Liz and Bruce.

We were staying with friends in Kununarra and decided to take advantage of the fact that the camper was set up on their front lawn and head up to Wyndham for a days caching while they were at work.
We pulled up here and were really impressed with the amount of water that was coming across the crossing and there was no way we would have risked it even if we could have because now they have placed large cement blocks across the road to stop anyone trying. Another plus was that the cache on the other side has now been archived so we didn't even have to take the long way around to get it. The cache on this side was placed well away from people camping down by the river so we had no trouble at all retrieving it and adding our name to the log before going and taking some pictures of the water cascading over the causeway.
Thanks Liz and Bruce for the cache.

Pa agreed to drive me around some outlying caches of Kununurra today as we continue to wander around northern Australia from one side to the other after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter.
This was cache #4 and my first find for the day as Pa had found all the others!
A quick find compared to all the others so far today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find. Stamped log and returned it to its hidey hole.

Navigating the water on the crossing was the easy part, navigating all the locals and their vehichles on the crossing enjoying a sunday arvo swim was a bit more challenging TFTC
Hi there Liz and Bruce - while stopped in Kununnura during our 2016 Northern Adventure TWO decided to let me have a day out by myself to pick up some caches that were too remote for her to accompany me. This was our find number 4129 - SL. Thanks to Liz and Bruce for the cache.
It was to cross the river, last time we were here the river was running a lot higher and the crossing was closed.

Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! Our journey started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island, before heading to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. The second leg of our journey was a fabulous 9 days in Tasmania. Having then returned to Melbourne we set off on the third leg of our journey, which was to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. We then spent a few days in Sydney with geocaching friends before flying on to the Gold Coast for the fourth leg of our travels, that included visits to Lamington National Park, Noosa and an overnight trip out to Fraser Island. We then flew from Brisbane to Cairns, where we spent a couple of nights before heading out to the birding hotspots of Yungaburra and Daintree. Following on from a visit to Cape Tribulation we turned to Port Douglas. After a day out on the Great Barrier Reef we returned to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs and the fifth leg of our travels, which was a wonderful week driving the circuit to and from Ayers Rock in our 4x4 camper. On returning to Alice Springs we then flew on to Darwin, where we picked up another 4x4 camper. We are currently making our way towards Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
This was a nice quick find at Ground Zero, where we arrived just as the local authorities arrived to remove the concrete blocks and then reopen the river crossing. We were amazed at the number of vehicles queuing up waiting to cross - news travels fast! Thanks so much for the cache.

Quick find while geowife got herself back together again and went off to take some pics Tftc
A quick park and grab, taking the cahce into the car to sign the log in order to get out of the rain.
