Found it after a few minutes searching. Cache is slowly losing out to the element's and may need a smaller container or rehoming. Still in good order, just a bit tight.
Find # 13088Off on a full days solo Caching adventure around the Western Vic area.I've had a half baked plan around the area and it was time to go for it. Horsham, Dimboola, Jeparit, Rainbow and then follow a Silos Art Ad Lab heading home.A great (top of) 20deg day, to be out n about. With a bit of wind to kick the dust n sand.I parked on the side of the black top n legged it in.... a great little find in the scrub. TFTC nom234
Beautiful out of the way spot!

Thanks tackle_head . Collected a bit of shrubbery on the way in with the camper, now it’s truly camouflaged! Happy trails from Deanside
Certainly lots of parrots and other birdlife in this location. With the recent high water levels everywhere was quite boggy and didn't look appealing to camp but its a nice place to visit. TFTC!

We looked for this cache back in 2017 without success as it seems the original cache was flattened by a fallen tree. Anyway this time we (Mrs B) managed to locate it easily.

Unfortunately, we didn't spot any parrots either, not of any description. We are pleased to be able to find this one as we didn't have time at the beginning of this trip. Thanks for placing this cache for GT37 and I to find.
Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks nom234 (F=138 H=15) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

Finally off on my 4 day weekend away to catch up with some fellow cachers and good friends around Wyperfeld National Park.
I headed up the Calder, turned west at Charlton and meandaring around the back roads to get to my destination for the night which is Lake Albacutya.
The weather is not being so kind to me today so it is a quick run and hopefully find and get back to the Geocruiser and on to the next one kind of day.
After visiting Rainbow I was heading towards Lake Albacutya but instead of turning right I turned left and decided to do a loop of Lake Hindmarsh as I had plenty of time.
Worked out how to get in here by just trying to spot a track off the main road near where the cache should be.
It would have been a nice spot to camp back then and I would love to see the lake with some water in it even if it was not full.
I found a spot to turn around and park and went off in search of this one.
The place was very quiet and maybe the rain was keeping all of the birds away.
Soon spotted he sneaky cache and added my name to the log.
Thanks nom234 TFTC.

We DNF’d this cache back in ‘17 so today we are back to turn that blue frown upside. It still took some searching but eventually we found it at arms length.
Thanks nom234 for replacing and bringing us to this great location.

Lovely forgotten and under used area. We love coming to these places as you have them all to yourself for a nice picnic lunch! TFTC!
Gorgeous piece of bush with lots of birds. No regent parrots though but saw Pink galahs and ring necks. Cache in excellent condition with lots of swaps. Thanks nom234 for another cache in this area.

Stopped by while taking the scenic route to a couple of events in Murray Sunset NP.
My inability to read cache notes before getting to GZ shone through again as approached from the wrong direction making hard work with inflated tyres in the soft sand.

Found at 3:09 PM GAFF1.
Seems to no longer be a camping spot - no signs and it looks overgrown - although we spotted a camp fire ring in the scrub probably from about 20 years ago.
Cache was found to be quite exposed - not that anyone would casually come in here and spot it
Thanks nom234

Mr Morris headed up to Rainbow for a few days of beer, blokes and bikes. The weather was good, the beer was cold and the caches were fun.
Lots of fun to be had on that big swing!
Thanks for adding to the fun nom234

Grew up around Lake Hindmarsh, was nice to get back there for a drive. Good hide too!!!
TFTC Interesting place. In the area traveling and caching as we go. On our way to the Rainbow bakery as we have heard it is the best in the Wimmera. The track in was a bit overgrown but no real problem. Cache in tact but sorry we didn’t have a shovel so the original remains at rest
Yep, the tree fell over and as stated the cache was nowhere in sight. If I'd taken a shovel I might have been able to excavate and find it, but poking around with a stick didn't do me any good . So I slipped the replacement cache in the same place the old one was... even though now it is on a completely different angle.
Not sure if the tree was standing at time of placement but it is sure having a big snooze now. Has it crushed the cache or is the cache just gone?
No luck for us either here today.
No luck for us either here today.
Nope didn't find it and since it's been a while since anyone has been here I doubt this cache exists here anymore (but I could be wrong).
About four million bull ants guarding this one - and I don't think we are going to find a fishing spot around here, lake seems pretty dry
Taking the geo kids caching during the school holidays, while towing a 24 foot caravan. We'll take every opportunity to grab a cache. Found this one quickly and enjoyed the area. It would be quite different with water up this end of the lake.
Thanks again nom234.

Made the most of the view and made a cuppa and grabbed a cache, it doesn't get much better than that! Thanks for the cache.
A quick find by Happy pants and myself while the Moose made afternoon tea. Thanks for another great spot along the lake. We loved the road that just headed off into the middle!
What a spot! GeoKid found this one first! Picked up Muff1s pathtag, signed log. TFTC
Was bit concerned with the uneven ground but made it ok in my wagon. An easy find once I reached the end of the track. Pity I wasnt here about 2 years ago when there was water in the lake.
The drive in for us was OK, the parking area is reasonably clear. It is a shame that the Regent parrots have moved away. The cache was found and swaps were made. T small picture frame L chinese coin and a muff1 pathtag. TFTC
On holidays down this way to visit family in Bordertown and my best mate Muff1 at Kaniva. 2 days of adventure in the area caching. Regent Parrot Camp was very interesting. Would have loved to see the parrots, but alas not today. Thank you nom234 for placing the cache and Muff1 for providing the transport for todays activities. SL TNLN TFTC.

25/04/2014 - am - 3rd find for the day. Out site seeing/geocaching with nom234 (CO) & non-geo-son & non-geo-granddaughter while visiting Jeparit. GPS Instructions -- you press this, this, this, zoom in like this ... here you go (lucky it was as easy as that). Was told I could get a hint in I needed one. Thanks Nom (little sis) I didn't need one. .
Non-geo-granddaughter (not quite 2 years old) decided she needed to commandeer the GPS for a go too. She was doing all the correct moves, sounds, gestures, rotations, muttered comments like she was a seasoned finder/non-finder! It was very cute!

Did the cross-country through the undergrowth, startling a fox who took off. Got to the cache complete with spider webs
Great spot, sadly no regents around today but there were lots of galahs. One was even geocaching

This was the 21st cache for the day. Nothing like taking off in the ute nice and early to take on some of the caches to the northwest of home.
The good news is that there is no longer a site hut and no machines are no longer stored here. However the road at the start is still pretty rutted and chopped up. I decided not to go in there. There is plenty parking at the turn off and the 230m walk in wasnt an issue.
Once again I was here on my lonesome. Some lovely solitude. An easy find. TFTC, I just love it around here.

We came for a day trip with the GeoKids and decided to to a couple of caches. We took the 4wd drive track to this cache. Was amused when we went past the abandoned tennis courts. TFTCSL
Easy find in a nice camping spot. Will keep in mind for another day. thx nom234 for the cache.
Nice one. Regent parrots are still in the area ,just have to look around a bit. TNLN
Went down the wrong track so ended up hiking the last 200m. Took awhile to find! Nice hide! TFTC
We took the wrong road to this cache and ended up very near bogged in sand. With no place to turn around we had a very adventurous and fast reverse back to the main track, such relief. Once the right track was found it was an easy find. SL TFTC
Was looking forward to this one as we wanted to catch up to the Regent parrots we gathered the cache and signed the log and settled down to wait for it to cool down before setting up camp for the night. We were disappointed because we didn't see any parrots at all.

Found this one at 4:55pm heading home to our camp at The Wattles, no-one around, no parrots either but joyfully we think we must be out of Golden Orb Web spider territory...yay! Only sign of life we spotted were the carp feeding...what a shame...otherwise so quiet. [^]
Unfortunately no Regent parrots were seen by us today, but we did see many other birds. The incredible sight of fish feeding entertained us for quite a while. They must have been carp. They had half their bodies out of the water as they foraged in the shallows. Quite a sight. Thanks so much for sharing this spot with us.
Missed the turnoff and so just parked the geomobile at the side of the road and went cross country to this one on foot
It was an enjoyable walk though not many birds were sighted.
No campers either.
I did eventually find the track that runs through here and the lake shore that wasn't far away.
Seems all the extra water has stirred up a lot of the organic matter that has accumulated during the drier periods.
The result today was that this whole side of the lake smelt like a sewage farm [xx(]
That might explain the lack of campers and birds

We were sitting nearby in the lake just over 20 years ago watching smoke coming over , apon inspection the closest farm sheds to here was on fire , we went to see if we could help out but nothing could be done . The house survived which is the main thing - tftc nom234

After speaking to some DPI Fisheries officers and explaining what we were doing we soon arrived at GZ to quickly locate the cache.

Checking out the lake, seems to be the thing to do and on the way we found our first cache. I would agree with the others that it is a lovely spot just a shame there is no longer camping there. No regent parrots but lots of other birds.
Out for a wander about looking at how the water was filling up the lake.
what a very nice location no parrots but a nice quite location.

Found by Roma and Max.
We took your advice as to how to enter, where to park and not to bother looking for a pamplet!
What a pity there is such a shortage of water as this is a lovely and peaceful camping area.
We could hear a lot of birds but did not see any parrots today.
Thanks again.
