Just discovered this new event feature. The Announcement!
Calling all cachers. Three bugs left in the event. Any takers?

We're currently on honeymoon in Australia. But if European cachers are also welcome we'll join you for breakfast (if we can defeat the jetlag ).
Unbelieveably I am in the city, staying very close... but may not be able to make it... going to Adelaide Show!
Will try to call in for a nano second

I'm here already. I had to be in the city for some building maintenance so thought I would pop in for a bit.
Next time may I suggest a love in at Caffe Amore or a punch up at Cafe Hit......

Had a nice scrambled egg and tomato doorstop breakfast and talked a lot about caching. While I was there I followed a few people around to get some caches. All in all a perfect morning
Thanks Freddo. It was great to catch up with everyone again.

We attended the early shift so missed a lot of people but still caught up with plenty of cachers, admired metal vegetables, drank coffee, ate danishes, traded pathtags and got some reassurance that all is not lost with our quest to determine the meaning of the local stobie pole.
Any cafe that is frequented by large groups of "leg shaving 60 year olds" as Martyn puts it - I prefer "cyclists" has already been pre-assessed in terms of food and in particular coffee quality in my opinion, and I think I'll be frequenting this joint in future, despite it's despicable name.
Freddo might hate nanos, but I spotted a nano Freddo (with a bonus Z) "ready to go" according to the attached picture. I assume that means they come with a logbook and a magnet on their person.

Now that was a fun way to start the weekend [^]
And who was the evil team that gave the amphibian a nano cache in thanks for organising the event?.... and will he use it

A bit of fun for a Saturday morning. Coffee, hot chocolate and croissants were consumed, puzzles a-plenty were solved and our own nano-sized o'cholio was shown off. Nice way to start the weekend. TFTE Exterminator Freddo (how many variants of Freddo are there now?)
Flying visit before a busy, busy day. Only caught up with a few people but did discover BFE's secret to finding caches without solving puzzles...simply spending a *huge* amount of time searching. Not a Nano in sight although I believe one might be heading out NW from Z central pretty soon.

What a nice event breakie on a Saturday morning, nice little spot in amongst the veggies! We swapped/gave out some path tags, Mark was still in proxy grandpa mood and was playing with the little รถ"and was introduced to the littlest of the Tardis Trio as well. Sat and chatted to Team Scoobster and Woodsy5, hope you enjoyed the visit to the Pandas, then we headed off to find a few city cachers with the Team Fluffy Bears from Austria.
Seeya'll at the next one.. BTW this made 5 events for us in the week!
Thanks again Freddo.

First geo-caching anything, since Jolly Jamestown. Loved the juice and the company. Met some new names and said hello to old. Lovely to meet the visitors from Austria. Thanks to Feather Waite, Four Fun and Are We There Yet for caching with me and not walking too fast, it was great to cache again!
Had a lovely breakfast and enjoyed catching up with others and swapping some pathtags. Mrs S has had breakfast at this place once before and knew it was good, but also knew it was a favourite with the lycra brigade.
Great to meet our Austrian visitors and hope they enjoy the rest of their visit. Took the TB. Thanks Freddo for organising the event, and thanks weather for giving us a break from the rain.

Now Mr Freddo, I'm not sure where you are coming from. Sure, we know you want to burn down the NANO factories. That's a given. But holding an event at such a great NANO cafe could have us second guessing this doctrine of yours. I guess a NANO that serves food and great coffee is the exception to the rule. Top show with top company - meeting the newly-wed international FlauschBaerenBande visitors on their geohoneymoon-of-love was a real bonus [^]. They told me there are not many NANO's in Adelaide. How nice. Clear skies!
Another great chance to meet geocachers with varying experience and benefit from their knowledge. Had a chance to see cachers known to me and also "new" ones. After a pleasant coffee etc went off with a group to find some of the latest caches in the city area. Thanks Freddo for the enjoyable event.
Whats smaller , a Nano Event thats lasts for 2 hours or a Micro Event that only lasts for 12 minutes
Didn't have time for coffee or Cake
Thanks fred o

Slowly catching up on logs, only a few behind now!
A nice gathering of cachers (plus a few from the lycra brigade). A slightly nano serving of pancakes, but made up for it by eating half of M's cooked breakfast.

Great breakfast, and the serve was both larger than a nano, and wasn't just vegetables! Thanks for organising this Mr Freddo! I used to hate Nano's but now I'm not so sure.
A great event, being newbie's we met lots of cachers and had a good chat. Can't remember everyone's name, but definate hello's to disk, o'cholio, Team Scoobster, Flipper&Co and FlauschBaerenBande. The latter 3 teams and the Trio went on a fun CBD caching spree after the event.
After a nice sleep in, it was time for a small breakfast, shared with those leg shaving 60 year olds that were at the next table.
We enjoyed a nice breakfast, though despite Anja just about finishing hers before mine arrived, she still managed to tuck into mine as well!
Good to catch up with everyone, and a great chance to grab another couple of city caches.

Going away with Skippy for a dirty weekend with lots of food.
He is taking me to a 4WD event in the Adelaide hills. Given all the rain there should be plenty of mud.
Packed the swag and all the fixens for a Dutch oven bake off round the campfire tonight,
Couldnt resist stopping by for a Latte and a scroll.

What a wonderful nano morning. The danish was delicious and not so nano. Special thanks to Bec from Woody5 for the nano present. I have been planning its destruction all weekend. Stayed tuned for the video.
Find 1028 My Way Without a GPS.
Great coffee and conversation with a great group.
Also took the opportunity to demonstrate the BFE style at the nearby Remote location, while the others were waiting for the GPS to find the satellites.
Thanks to Freddo for organizing the event.

Finally a city event I could make, although it was at a promise of a hot chocolate and milkshake for Bek and Cal. Alas no milkshakes served, so Cal enjoyed his first Iced Chocolate.
Nice to say G'day to the Austrians and to pass a Four-Fun TB I'd retrieved from a long forgotten Z cache onto them to take to Europe.
Mrs Flipper made Bek and Cals day with some lovely pathtags and I scored a Sparkling Ale Coopers Pathtag - awesome
A quick visit as we only had 30 minute park, but still managed to say hi to a few old teams and new teams too, and finally worked out the meaning of the clue to the Frog Princess.
Didn't bother adding my name to the spawn of satan that I spotted in the hands of Skippy. It was bad enough yesterday trying to add my name to a nano log, to bother doing it again today.
Took two thirsty kids, left with two happy kids with pathtags.
TFTE Freddo the Exterminator
Cheers

Nice to have a break in our caching day (already found 8 today) and to have an event helped us log another one over a coffee .
Caught up with a few fellow cachers and managed to get some assistance with a few puzzles we've not been able to solve .
Probably the best nano we've ever found [^][^]!
Thanks for the break Freddo.

What a great day.. i think we take the trophy for the longest unplanned follow on to the event tho.. we arrived here at 9am... met some old faces.. some new.. (big shout out to The Tardis trio, Woodsy5 and even FlauschBaerenBande (from Austria) ..had breakfast...then some of us thought.. oh why not lets go caching (of course).. it's a nice day..couple of city caches done.. then it became.. lets have lunch.. then more caching.. oh lets have dinner.. .then more caching.. so basically this event for us went for about 13 hours!!!
had a great day guys Thanks freddo for arranging the event.!
P.S. dropped off some TB's

Well this will certainly be an event we'll never forget. It all started out quite spontaneously since we've been in Adelaide for our honeymoon but then noticed that there was an event we could actually attend. We thought "well, let's meet some Aussie cachers and see how nice they are" and we were not disappointed. So many friendly people, so many great stories, pathtags, geocoins, travelbugs. What more could you expect?
After the event FLIPPER&CO, The Tardis Trio and Team Scoobster took us on a caching tour throughout Adelaide that lasted till late afternoon and ended with dinner so again - thanks for all the nice memories that we'll never forget!

Up until now nanos equate to crawling around cold, wet metallic structures... mostly in the drizzle, often in the dark, and always accompanied by muttering and cursing. This one was far more civilised. Thanks Freddo.
Just to see the factory burn down would make this a must attend event!
But to see Astro WRITING in a log is such a great bonus
See you soon

This event is find #450 for us! Great to meet you all! Drop by next time you're in whyalla! Now, off to the pandas! Thanks Freddo! Enjoy your gift from Bek!
This fits in perfectly with our normal Saturday run, so it looks like city centre caching for us !
We've had a dozen bison tubes, almost since we started caching, but still haven't found the need to use any yet [^]!
We can't think of any place that needs them in the future either .

Surely we can squeeze a TB into this nano. Maybe a bit Potterish, you know..small on the outside but big on the inside??!
Looking forward to calling in for a coffee. Will need to check the tide times, but any takers after for a spot of faching?
Team a
we will be there, mmm we also hate putting out nano's, but when you can't find a place to put a larger one.........
Looking forward to a nice cuppa cache
Cheers,

Well we tried to have lunch in a cache in Wagga Wagga. Having an event in a nano is taking it to a whole it to a whole new level though.
I reckon we can make it. We hate nanos too, which is why we've only put out one, and we felt bad about it. Does that count?
I have been promised by a certain husband that he WILL look after the kids so I can go!
Any Uni Events, birthday parties etc etc, he has promised to take....

We hate nano's too and would love to come. Currently travelling through Tennant Creek, it's probably unlikely we'll be home by then, but the thought of wearing the badge makes us want to be there. We'll see!
We will be there providing we are not out placing nanos. We LOVE Nanos. We will bring our latest example.
Might be able to drop in for a quick coffee.
Not sure it is the right day of the year to be burning down factories though
Cheers
P.S I've had a nano sitting at home for three years and have still not placed it - but I have finally found the perfect spot. Mmmmmwwwwahahahahahaha

As the owner of a nano cache, do I dare attend?
Well, it seems I can't make that day it anyway. See you guys another time.

The Trio should be there (depending on how well the little one sleeps the night before). This is a regular cafe for me for a weekly breakfast as I work around the corner. Try the Italian toast, its thicker than me. There's even a challenging cache near-by (not a nano).
We're heading back from Victoria, lots of evil nano's over here. Even saw a fake rusty bolt on a rusty car in the bush. Would never had found it without help from the owner, and another one (hollow bolt) in a bridge full of bolts! Die nano's die! GIve me a 20 litre bucket in a national park anyday (GC1YQEM)

We'll try and make this supersized Nano Event. I hear the BIG Kahuna might be making a guest appearance.
Sounds good. Will give us a chance to polish off the city caches that we missed out on yesterday.
No small chance that we wont be able to make it.
