As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.

If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.

TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.

I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

Please excuse Generic log. Covid has placed many a restriction/s on many of us. Given a now larger border bubble, we noticed many new caches in Mt Beauty and as we had not been to the town as a team before, we took the opportunity to leave Albury/Wodonga and grab what we could at a leisurely pace on a beautiful day. Thank you CO for cache placement.

Found on our way back to Mt Beauty after a great day paddling down part of the Mighty Murray. We are on our annual camp with friends but drove up to Albury to meet Canberra friends to tackle some of the caches on the river. It was a much harder day than expected due to the low and slow river but we were successful in only having one DNF of tjose that we attempted. This cache was a quick find and cache is in good condition though the log has been slightly damp at some stage. SL TFTC Gnarcrew

#3780 Lots of cyclists along this stretch of road from Myrtleford this morning! Annoying and hazardous for all concerned with so many crests and curves and limited bitumen width along this section… On arrival to the zappy buzzy yards the cache search was not as annoying with it being spotted in the first place we looked . TFTC Gnarcrew.

Finally convinced the kids to leave the house - the promise of a pie from a town starting with B in Yackandandah was enough to get them moving. After a quick walk along the creek we then headed home via a different route to pick up a few caches that I had had my eye on for a while.
Continued on this road I had never been down and stopped at the buzzing switching yards - some serious power coming through here. Parked safely and walked to the obvious structure and found nothing. Looked at the hint and looked fine and there the cache was (though not as described). Log was damp but signable.

Sub-stations! Best time to visit is when the air is moist (fog, mist/light-rain) or if there smoke around and then just listen to that HV crackle and transformers hum! Might even be able to light up a fluro tube, or yourself, if you're daft enough to wave it around under the HV lines!

2:52pm

Heading towards the alpine area for the weekend I thought I’d take the opportunity to stop and pick up this cache along the way.
I don’t know how many times I’ve attempted this cache over the years but every time I’ve come by there was always someone parked along the gravel, preventing me making the find unless it was in full view.
Today there was no one around and I was finally able to make the find.

Log damp.

Travelling around Australia, today was moving day.

We took the back roads to Huon from Porepunkah which brought us right by your cache. Some great views today.

we located the cache but sadly it was broken. So we jumped into the back of the geocruiser and dug out a replacement. Cache as good as new now. Wink
