Hi there wheres wolly.

We found your cache **"Betty Boo"** at 12:18:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 15764).

We cached around the Port Lincoln area today. On our trek we found a wide variety of container types. & ended up finding 5 caches with 1 DNF's.

Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

# 7787. Our first day of Easter camping in the Lincoln National Park and quite a glorious day today. Robmc and I set forth to find some of the local caches, especially my namesake and If's and Roostaman's. In the end we we found 16 and had 2 DNFs. At least I think that was the tally.

I spotted this one last night and as my caching name is BettyBoo3747 we HAD to do this one. Someone on a Triumph came roaring down the driveway just as I was about to go find the cache so we had to wait until he departed before having a look. Quickly found it and added my name and left a pathtag in appreciate of a cache with the same name as me.

Thanks wheres wolly

Day Ten of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747. Today we wandered around the area between our camp at Surfleet Cove, Lincoln National Park to Port Lincoln.
When BB saw the name of this cache it was a forgone conclusion that she would have to do it. I was hoping it wasn't a nano in the middle of a field! Fortunately, it was not! A good sided cache easily found.
Thanks, Robmc.

Day eleven of my holidays, just caching around the outskirts of Point Lincoln. There were some wins and some losses, but generally wins. The wins were generally easy, and the losses, well, too hard for me to find. Nice and quick find.

My thanks to wheres wolly for the cache.

While geohubby searched for this cache I spent my time checking both approaches on the road for cars full of muggles. I had my back to the cache and didn't notice a car coming down the drive behind me! We had a giggle and were delighted to meet Betty Boo herself. She is a wonderful lady and I would have loved to spend all day talking to her, but as she was in her car I guess she had places to be. She told us how you had asked if the cache hide would be OK near her property although she admitted she didn't really understand what geocaching was all about. We tried to explain it again but I'm not sure she was any wiser at the end. A really nice down to earth lady. Great hide. Have to make this a favourite now. Cool

My sister and a mate's wife both volunteer for care for wildlife in Victoria, we believe that all these people do a great job and really need more recognition. We hope Betty boo has recovered well after the fire

Rushed around the corner from the other cache to get this last one in before the hour ticked over.
We like to count how many we achieve and hour and we have only managed 8 an hour average today when we usually go for minimum of 10.
What can we say, we like the numbers. Wink

In 2006, Betty formed a pop duo called WigWam, with Alex James, bassist from Blur. Together, they worked with music producer Ben Hillier, along with former Boo collaborators The Beatmasters. Despite working to create "an album of experimental yet accessible 21st century pop", just one single emerged from their musical partnership, the self-titled "WigWam" released on April 3, 2006 via Instant Karma Records. After that, they set up a B&B here. Get down.
