Archiving this because of the way teams behave.

This cache was unavailable when we visited South Australia in late February/early March. We were glad when the cache was reactivated in time for this visit. We have been interested in the various logs and had some ideas of what to expect when we visited today. We were able to make a very quick find today with the cache in a great location. And to add to the scene, there were a number of pink and grey galahs in the nearby trees. Thanks Bronsen for a great cache.

Strangely didn't find this cache today...

Found in company of BantamCT after the Wandering Heroes series. Very nicely hidden, which had us scratching our heads for a while. Thanks for the cache Bronson!

Wink This is a good cache...
I felt like a galah doing this one,
I've seen galahs picking stones as well...
So many stones, so little time,

Cache took us much longer to find than it should have.. lots of garbage, rocks and a camp fire.. appears to be quite the dumping area.. about to give up.. when we re read the cache info.. and looked at this from a different angle!!.

Ahhhhhh ..of course!.. cache was safe and sound in it's little hole! Wink

I initially looked around in the obvious places that most people seem to have checked, before I re-read the cache details and concluded that it must be THERE. And … indeed it was [^]. Nice hide. No swaps. Cheers Big Grin.

23-Jun-11
I liked this cache but hope I signed the right one (that's if the other one was still somewhere there) and I did follow the clue etc. Left a TB. Thanks Bronsen.

13-Jun-11
Had driven past this one last time we went to Adelaide but with the road works we could not stop. Today all was clear and Shelby was able to find the cache.
Thanks Bronson,

Found both caches but only signed the right one.

Our second visit.

Removed alchemy's cache.

Thank you Team Waldron for removing that other cache.

21-May-11
Galah, galah. I heard a nice recipe for cooking galah. Boil a galah with two rocks until the rocks are soft. Throw away the galah and eat the rocks.

21-May-11
Found on the way to the border for a party with some moderately old farts [^]
Nice to see the world from a galahs' perspective here!
Cheers

Looks like there has been another cache placed here because of not finding my cache that is still there in its original position. So any finds of that cache and not my cache and logged as a find of that cache and not my cache will be deleted. No excuses. I left a note on the cache page saying it is back in place and this happens. I checked it last night in the dark and my cache is still there.

I came back again from Adelaide to Melbourne after my family visit.
Tried to find a cache... same no luck
so I have replaced a small cache with log and few items
to keep it alive for the cachers like you.
Hope this is ok with you Bronsen.

I have put cache back. A new container as someone dropped the rock on the old one and cracked it.
VERY DISAPPOINTED at what has gone on after i disabled this cache and the disregard to me and the disablement.
To Liz and Bruce thank you for being polite and getting in touch with me.
To those i deleted sorry but i said i would.
Chill Out and Buddy ( pathetic ) Check my log dates. Any thing for a number.
Just remember when they start putting the tar down i might disable this cache again for a short time if you can not do the right thing.
Please enjoy yourselves see-ya From Michael ( not chill out or buddy ) ???

Most cachers don't read previous log etc before heading to a cache. I downloaded waypoints earlier in the week, obviously while cache was still active.
Many, many times we go to a cache & it has been removed, usually by muggles, council worers etc etc, so as a service to the owner most responsible cachers would replace the cache with whatever spare equipment they have. In this cache we had a ziploc bag, pencil & pad.

Finding is not just about the container, it's to do with the surrounding area & in this case the cleverness of the hide.

No ill intent was meant here, we just thought we were helping out the owner.

04-Apr-11
Cache was removed a couple of days ago by another team because of teams ignoring my disablement instructions. Cache and Logbook are with me and will only be put back when roadworks has been completed. How can a find be logged when the cache and logbook are in the hands of the owner of the cache. The logbook that has been left there not by me is not the cache logbook. So any finds of that logbook are not finds.

27-Mar-11
This cache is still offline, so any further finds will be deleted as the roadworks are still continuing.

26-Mar-11
We sought the owners permission to log this one and because we had done it the day before Bonsen's posting he has agreed.

Cleverly done and will be worth the wait for future cachers when it has been removed from the temporary disablement.

Found with MtnLioness on our drive from Melb to Adel.
Hmmm - I did a pocket query VERY late February for active caches, this was in the list. (silly GC - I have found there PQ's often give errors!!!!!!)
Anyway, nothing happening around here, absolutely nothing. So over we wandered, found some obvious places but no cache!!!!! Then had an idea, aha, a clever hide, found easily, nice one, Thanks.

Found in the company of Mtbikeroz on our way home from out Tazmania trip
Great place to stop and make me wake up. The long drive makes me fall asleep.
When you really think about it, not too hard to find.

25-Feb-11
Although the road works are not finished, the absence of any work today enabled us to get to the vicinity of GZ. We searched and think we found the most likely location for a cache consistent with the name and description, However, no cache found. We will continue to watch for developments with this cache.

25-Feb-11
I disabled this cache on the 24 January because of roadworks close by. This cache is off limits until the roadworks is finished. Including until the bitumen has been laid and all signs removed and all plant has been removed. According to Geocaching rules.

12-Feb-11
Roadworks almost finished, but a lot of mess around the GZ. It's a pity in such a beautiful country.
Please clean the surrounding before replacing.

I am logging this way late, sorry. I did find it on the way to Murrayville one day to pick up my son. I remember looking like a galah while retreiving the cache! Smile I see it has since been archived, I am however positive I would only have searched for it when it was available. If the owner would like to verify the date of the find I will amend this log find accordingly.
Thanks for a good hide, had me scratching my head for a lil bit till I realised what the cache name may mean! Smile
Sorry, I cant remember if I left anything ot not.

17-Dec-10
Must have looked like galahs at this one. Turned over every rock around GZ and pretended to be making notes about them as there was a caravan facing us about 15m away. Still didn't come up with it, though. Too much rubbish to be an attractive cache site.

Quick find. TFTC Bronsen

A good hide, which was soon sussed and accessed. My only concern is that one of the ratings is not quite right, otherwise a very good hide.

Oh, and that rubbish!!!!
