The ants seem to have moved out! Putting up the rent was a smooth move [:-o] Here we come again! Caching once again! Time to sign a log book! We will cache with all of our might! TFTC.

Now this was a familiar type of hide and we soon had the cache in hand and LB signed. Moving on to the next cache... fun afternoon road trip collecting this series - thanks for the caches!
Went out with KittyKatch, GrimRaider and ACTchil with Koda geodog to get this set. Tftc
found this cache with Darzee Di, KittyKatch and GrimRaider, rain has cleared for a fun afternoon. tftc
This was the sixth cache I found with my mum while out in this part of Canberra. I could have a pretty good guess at the location of the cache even from the name. As I thought, there it was. It's an intersting sight within the cache. It appears that the a family of ants has decided to make it's home within the container (see picture). There is larvae (I think?) all over the log book and I think it may be time for a container change. Oh well took ants (and lots of them, all over me), left nothing, signed log. TFTC mark_rattigan!
Doing a loop of the Brindabella today brought us here to a easy find. Thanks mark_rattigan. Cheers
Great weather to be out and about caching. In the area until late Saturday. TFTC
It was windy here - a theme I found for the other caches I collected this afternoon.

Sunday 17 February 2013 - a warm 28 degree summer Sunday afternoon in GeoGrandma's car. Thx p2p, TFTC
Found on a wet but nice morning in Uriarra. A nice easy find in a nice area. Good name. Thanks mark_rattigan, GUIO and Puddle_jumpers-PJ's!
A couple of cyclists approached as I was snooping around GZ so I went for the quick "use the GPS as a camera" decoy and pretended to photograph the views. Worked a treat

So after the springtime trivia event my wife and I decided to go for a drive from point hut to uriarra crossing in search of fireplaces. It seems there aren't to many left. But as this was on the way we decided to stop and pick it up. The road was quiet and considering the nice day that it was I was somewhat surprised that we didn't se any motorbike cruising along.
The find itself was simple which is nice for a driveby. TFTC.

I thought this one was going to be so easy and given the clue I could be forgiven for thinking I was going to walk straight up to it, but it wasn't there. Pretty sure this is not there any more GUIO. But I will wait and see the what the next person to attempt writes.
Found on a nice day's caching with Genghicat and Geodaughter. Enjoyable trail of caches in a scenic part of Canberra.

Found on a big day of caching, ants have taken up residence in the Cache.. Yep, in the cache.... TFTC
8th find of the day. It would be a beautiful friday morning to be out on the motorbike and doing the cotter/uriarra ride. Unfortunately for me my 1300 is sitting in the garage unregistered so the car will have to do to take us around this series of caches. A nice quick find.

Found @ 12:43pm with hccatcher11415 on a lovey autumn day

Well we did not set out to do this series but after trying to get to Mt Franklin with the car GPS insisting we turn off early down repeated forestry roads with locked gates we where in need of a cache fix and this one was in the phone and provided enjoyable stops to look at the country side. We ended up heading up to The Lonely Cache. On getting back to the PC we saw we had missed one of the series so will have to come back to complete. Certainly a quick way to get your totals up.
A quick cache on the way through back to Queanbeyan with Hoojar.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache.
best wishes,
Wal

Well this series is certainly good for racking up the numbers quickly. Found whilst heading back down the mountain from Waterfall Creek Canyon with WalW.
Thanks for going to the effort of placing the series, I love being able to get high numbers in quick succession!
(Sorry for the copy/paste logs on this series, I will make individual comments on the caches where applicable!)

A beautiful evening drive out Uriarra and Brindabella Roads. Thanks for a great series in a lovely area! Signed log: TNGD. TFTC!
Well I finally get around to logging these. better late than never I guess.
Can't believe it was that long ago.
Seems people enjoyed finding them though. That gives me a cunning plan.

Found with TaurusSix on a full day of caching. The cows across the road seemed interested in what I was doing. We parked at the wrong end of the rails. The cows followed be the length of my walk one way then the other.
A few muggles back down the road, but the car blocked their view nicely.

These caches have been sitting without a smiley on my map for quite some time so while having some spare time I thought it was best to come on out here and find them. Cheers and thanks for the cache!
Really got into the culture of the series and soaked up the experience rather than seeing it as a gleeful numbers run. (Teehee) TFTH
Given I had to go to Canberra for a weeklong training course any way, I decided to tack on the weekend too. To get some caching in of course. Even though I had been very busy at work before I left and I hadn't been able to put in my usual amount of preparation a caching trip to Canberra requires, I did notice this trail of Biker caches. While being slightly disappointed to not be attempting them on a motorcycle, given that I ride a motorcycle myself at home, I decided to have a go at them none the less.
This was the seventh cache in the series I came across and had a good veiw. It was a straight forward hide and an easy find.
Thanks for the cache and the series mark rattigan

One of a few biker caches today. It is time to clear them off as I am not doing one a day any more. Thanks.

Argh frustrating - when you know its there, can even see it, but just can't get it Enzo retrieved the container when Zita failed. Loving these caches and the awesome ride. TNLNSL TFTC!!!
Glorious day to hunt the caches around the mountains...Mr Bushies2 found it easily while I waited in our Land Cruiser wagon to keep it running for the next biker series. Thanks mark rattigan and the other riders.
Got a strange look from a ranger driving by, but they didn't feel the need to stop and check us out too closely. Phew. TFTC
Glad the road wasnt too busy at this time as we pulled up pretty close to this one and Mrs H made a quick dash to grab the cache. SL and replaced and headed for the next. TFTC
Had to pull over as i needed to find my car's first aid kit (scratched my hand quite badly at...something earlier? and it was stinging like a ...use your imagination), so had a great excuse for a wonder around. Pretended to play the "OOH! ONE BAR OF RECEPTION HERE!" game with my phone, as a car past, and i was off again.
Found this one with Rubai and linFox on a bit of a Sunday afternoon drive.
Nice one.
Thanks, Jezzza.
