When searching for this one I was unaware at the time that it had been archived, as it was still in my gps. unit. However I found the cache shortly after I began my search. It was in amongst the pine needles etc. on the ground. I re-hid it best I could right near the spot where I had found it, I tucked under a small tree root. So it's actually still active, although sadly no-one will know as it has been archived by the co.
Its been a while since this one has been found. Not a fan of gorse but thoroughly checked out the area anyway and no luck. Will keep an eye out for this one to see whether anyone finds it
On my way out to Whenuapai this evening for a spot of caching and this one was on my way. Thought id stop in and find this one but it wasnt to be! I had a feeling that this one could be difficult and i spent far too long trying to find it. Too good for me on this occasion! I will be back another day. Cheers.
Nice camo. Found quite easily but imagine the area could be a bit slippery when wet. TFTC.
Really hadn't thought about caching when I left home in the morning, and then didn't when planning which cache to do, i still didn't think about what I was wearing. So approached this cache in my good work cloths and 3 inch heals (at least the weren't steletoes). Had second thoughts when crossing the grass trying not to sink in the wet ground, while reading the cache description. However when you got the caching bug you'll attemp anything for a cache. Not too much problem getting to the cache & finding, but retreating back to the caching wagon was a bit of a concern as I kept slipping. However as you can tell by my making it home to log, all is OK only one small graze. TFTC
isnt this just the coolest location will be back for a photo that is just super cool.. wonder if it was trained to do that? escape from a circus perhaps? lol
This one has tomented me...everytime I drive past, couldn't find it the first time, this time however was determined, climbed up and down, fell over rolled around and then bingo, so happy, now everytime I drive past it won't be laughing at me. happy happy.
Arrived here and walked over to GZ before reading the description, so having got to the spot, had a quick rwad and thought I'd probably be in for a bit of a hunt here, but I honestly had the cache in hand within 5 seconds, and that was from standing on the grass - almost the quickest find of the day. Nice one, TFTC!!!
Soon located, amazing how invisible one is in a High vis jacket and clip board, very nice hide all tucked away, TFTC
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Set out today with the aim of reaching our next milestone of 500 cache finds. Heading to Orewa and Shakespear Regional Park to do this.
This was on route so we decided to stop and grab it.
Nice quick find with not too many people around on Easter Saturday.

#974: Bit the Bullet
TikvaNZ and I came to this one, wondering just what a "bullet" was. Now we know! Fun time trying to come up with this one, but in the end, TikvaNZ came up with it.

With a few hours of daylight left after completing the Dalmations and Piggies (109 caches) 8ManAfter and I continued to cache as we headed to the CBD. This find made it 124 for the day so far. A tricky hide indeed. Easy to miss. TFTC

Finally got back to this one after finding it MIA a few months back. Got it off my to-do list today.
Cheers for the cache.

Great cache. Glad the tree has a few places to hold to climb down, and that I had Lycurgon to help me climb back up. Very fun cache for a driveby, TFTC

Didn't find it but found a spot where it might have been.
Can the owner please check.

A quick find with Crystal Fairy while caching in the area this afternoon. Signed log, TFTC!
Easy find in the dark, gun had fired and ejected bullet, I found it lying on the ground, then found I had no pencil on me, so pic sent to owner , replaced where I guess it came from, nice hide! Thanks.
A bit slippery around the U shape today. But two circuits around and quickly found this sweet little number.

Thanks Kev for replacing this one, although we were still blind looking for this one, PAF'd Kiwicouple who went out of their way and Mr KC met us on site, it had changed a bit since his FTF and what do you know, I found it while he was there!!

Like I said 2 days ago we will check soon !
Just becouse it can not be found it does not mean it's not there !

Knowing what to look for, spent quite a bit of time in the area (not sure if it was before or after Glynn - but the gorse wasn't too trampled when I arrived so I might have been there earlier)
I did find a suspiciously right sized "hole" in the higher part of the two levels of GL @ GZ which looked like the place - but no cache to be found - could you check it Kev? [?]

Hmm, another claim for the White cane gang!
Seriously don't think it's there

Out this way on a caching spree. This one took much longer than it should have. Then again they nearly always seem easier in hindsight don't they. TFTC.

Came back for another look at this one after stu4 was successful and this time I was in luck. Sneaky little hide (as you'd expect) and I didn't lose anything this time either! TFTC
Out and about tonight to grab a few out this way. Nice quick find wich surprised me as usualy micros tend to hide from me. TFTC.
Ugh... Found the tree, then found some gorse, a few bees and a face full of spiderweb and for good measure think I may have dropped a coin inadvertently for good measure. Will try again soon!
"Go out and get some caches !"
"But it is too hot out there" - "What kind of a Bear are you !"
"OK alright."
Out with Bear today for a bit of Westy tidy up.
Still following the Guru. Bit hard to find - Dirt and all that.
Thanks for the Smiley
Cheers TT

Easy find the 1st of the morning. Was harder getting up the bank than finding the cache.

I need to polish up on my alphabet as I was looking around a couple of trees in the shape of vees not ewes. Once I found the correct letter I soon found the "naked cache". tftc
I obviously wasn't the first visitor today, followed the footprints in the dew laden grass for an easy find. Was surprised at the use of a nano at this location - which had oodles of room for something bigger - I guess there's no point buying geocoins or trackables when they won't fit into "geocaches" anymore.

Only ever seen one like this before (by itself that is). Glad I spotted it reasonably quickly as it could have been rather frustrating looking for this. TFTC
No problems here - everything you need to know was in the description.

Qwik find after an evening out caching-loved the container-not seen one before-tftc
Took a detour on our way home to visit some new caches in the area. Quick find T4TC.
Half expected to see another car parked near GZ by the time we arrived at the 3rd new Whenuapai cache, but the carpark was empty. Made our way to GZ and soon spotted the U shaped tree. The bullet took quite a bit longer to find. Opened it up to find the 3rd empty logsheet of the evening.
