Will have to archive this cache due to road works.

Cache is not accessible as major roadworks going on with the new Papakura Interchange underway. Looks like works will not be complete till 2013... Cache may need to be disabled until works are completed.
No problems here. Another interesting historical spot I'd never have known about or visited if it wasn't for... Anyway, found the cache all safe and sound and encountered the friendly goat as well. TFTC, Biggles.
A nice quick cache this morning with all the motorway traffic looking on.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
We have driven past Camp Hidene many times on the motorway but never visited before. Found the sneaky little micro after just a brief search. Nicely done, thanks.

Took the other half of thejaybees with me today as I could not see this one anywhere last time. Gotcha and she had it in hand. Why couldnt I do that??
Log is damp but we were able to sign still.

Not a quick find, was about to leave for a DNF and then hey presto, found it. Gets a favourite cos a nice hide and enjoyed watching the passing motorway traffic while hunting. Have driven past these buildings countless times before and never knew the history. TFTC and the education.
Wet and windy and nope couldnt find it. I did replace the grate over the drain that was partly off but that "vertical" clue had me confused. GPSr was going crazy under those power lines. If its there then you are abetter man than me Gunga Dinn.
After a DNF a few months ago (not logged),I came back for another go, looking in all the same places again, this time in daylight.
Once again it looked as though I would be beaten as I ran out of ideas.
One last look however provided the find. A very nice hide, tricky, but I made it harder than it should have been. Thanks

Out and about today to collect two more lonely caches. While this cache isn't lonely, it did help break up the journey. My nephew also went to the Karaka Learning Centre. GPS was not being overly helpful, but the hide was soon deduced. Thanks for the cache!
Very sneaky little hide this one - but had good fun with snakelion figuring it out. We were very much distracted in our search by the friendliest goat we've ever come across, but he did prove a good cover while we were looking. TFTC
Very clever hide this one. To make it interesting, we had a friendly goatee which almost jumped the fence. The cache was found on the spotted coordinates.

A week in beautiful NZ to do some caches, and see some lovely scenery. We headed south picking up a cache here and there, and this was an easy detour to an interesting spot. Found after a bit of searching, and we also found the broken o-ring which we replaced inside the container. Logsheet nice and dry. Thanks Kiwifamily.
Boy is it noisy beside the motorway! Hard to be sneaky with all the cars going past, but was a quick find. TFTC!
Spied the plaque on the rock from the motorway as I drove past, so called in on the way back. O-ring on the container is perished and broken. TFTC
Quick find. Thanks for the trip Rubber seal has perished but contents were safe and sound.
Finally found this one after 3 DNF's!! On all previous attempts, the cache was never located where we found it! Nice easy find and fourth time lucky for us. Phew! TFTC

A bit of a search to locate this one, in the end found it on the ground too, replaced it back a little higher than where we found it........
Thanks, we dont mind Micro sized caches at all, or ones on bus stops for that matter.

Nice quick and easy cache even though the lawnmowing man posed a slight muggle issue.
Loved being this close to the motorway. TFTC.

Coords had me in a logical looking spot, but a good search of the obvious object yielded nothing. Txted a previous finder to check if I was in the right spot and they confirmed I was searching the exact spot. Sounds like part of GZ is no longer there - ultimately made a lucky find and found the cache on the ground in the long grass. Put the cache back in a semi-logical position, but the cache owner should probably take a look. TFTC!!!
^ Loved this one! Our daughter goes to this center and had no idea this was lurking in the area - great fun!
Easy find for my mother of 84 years,. Unbelievable. Just told her that it will be a difficult one, and whala....there she got it
I thought I had to approach this one from the west but on the way out of the area found the road in.
From there the cache was a short drive and was quickly in hand. Thanks!

Driven past this area often but never knew this road existed. Kids enjoyed being so close to the motorway. Cache literally fell down when we touched the right spot. Made sure it was replaced better (won't fall down now). TFTC
Interesting spot. The Papakura area had a wider military presence than I thought. T4TC - M@
A quick find with the GPS and for once I didn't need tweezers or anything similar to extract the log. Thanks for the cache and a spot of history.
5336 Didn’t know these Camps existed here, thanks for sharing the history of the area. TFTC.
Rather nice to learn of the Auckland equivalent to similar camps that existed in the Wellington area.
No trouble finding this one, quite a good hide though.

Don't know how I missed it the first time.
Great hide.
Parked the car in way that I had some shelter from the muggles passing-by on te motorway.

Had great difficulty getting to the log, had to resort to a tool, should it be that hard?

Drove by early morning but felt a bit exposed with the Monday morning traffic crawling past.
Gave it a quick look.
Maybe some other time.

Nearly forgot to log this cache.
Went around midday, was busy hunting when the rain started. Not being a REAL cacher, I hid. When the rain got worse, I decided to call it a day.
Later in the day, the weather cleared, so I had another look. Reread the description, the hint, and looked at the map, and hey presto! the cache was mine!

Lots of people watching me so I didnt jump the fence, therefore I could only get within 15m of GZ. I'll be back to examine the plastic mushrooms next time.

Got a call from Stu4 to say this cache had been published though there was no notification yet. Met at GZ for FTF ....TFTC
I noticed this one pop up on the site, still no notifications working so a quick call to 10centcoin to organise a catch up at GZ for a joint FTF. Felt a bit bit exposed to motorway mugles. I always wondered what these buildings were, now i know Thanks for that. TFTC.
Stopped by on our way back to Auckland, didn't take us long to find the well hidden cache T4TC.
