Yes, we are definitely following a fellow cacher! Another quick find here. Tftc!
Had a couple of hours spare this morning so tackled the caches in Lowan conservation park. All caches found and in good condition, coordinates all accurate, took nothing and left nothing. Nearly missed WP1 on the multi. Thanks for this series of caches. TFTC
I'm out and about with Wollaston today primarily to sign the 'Straya' Challenge caches but once we'd finished there, we headed over to the Lowan Conservation Park to get us a few more smileys. Luckily we had the correct vehicle to reach GZ and didn't have to walk in the heat. Thanks for find #5524TNLN
After a week of caching around Adelaide incorporating The Great Leap Forward event, HansandLinda, MeandDe and I moved camp to Bowhill to capture some targeted caches. MeandDe & I tackled this one today. Another great day for caching. TFTC CPwanderer
Found it! It would have been an enjoyable walk into this one if it wasnt for the persistent marsh flies following me the whole way! Cache quickly found and signed at GZ. TFTC!
Continuing my South Australian Adventure. After finding a nearby cache, I headed to this one. A quick find was made and the log signed. I returned everything as found, then continued on my way. TFTC
Sunday & Monday, sunny and no rain was the forecast……..with the wettest June in so long, I had to take Monday off work to head out for some caches
Where should I head was a dilemma. In the end I decided South, head South and see what I could collect around the Murray Bridge area.
This cache was quickly found, log stamped and all returned as found

Stay at Murray Bridge for two nights with Everlasting and Found the cache and logged the log with Everlasting CPwanderer, Thank you so much for placing it.
One of seven caches of the original Logan Eight logged today. I’ve been lured out here by the new add-on letterbox to the series, and not having been to this park before, I’m glad I came. All caches were easily found with good coordinates, and all in good condition, with plenty of swaps inside. No snakes were seen, a lizard gave me a momentary scare, and sadly, no lowans (mallee fowl) or mounds (are they in here?). My geocaching.com doesn’t show trails within the park, but they are there and I walked to all of these without difficulty. A big thank you to CPwanderer for this cache and the series.
After completing the nearby power trail i pointed the 4x4 in the direction of this national park since i have never been in this national park before. A quick find after walking in to the park. The track in to the park wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. No snakes sighted today but i did see a few lizards and birds.
Found with Mogni. Mogni wants to get to 20, 000 by the Rutherglen Mega in Victoria and make that event her 20, 000 th. So we went out to complete the " Ice cream " series and the " Straya " challenge series plus some extras along the way. 78 ccahes stamped today but since some of them are challenege caches less than 78 were finds. The route to the geo arts was the long way, this was because the main road to Strathalbyn was closed due to road works and the detour was through Milang.

Found this cache, rather disorientating. Wasnt making any progress mainly because I was walking parallel with the road! TFTC CPWanderer and Bindi the Geopup.
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.

Todays road of choice was north out of Karoonda then west, east and back to the caravan park. Yesterday we thought that we had finished all the caches here in Karoonda but after we had finished our logging up popped a letterbox that we had not downloaded to our file. This was rectified and we collected the information for the final which was quickly done and the log was signed on the way back to the caravan.
We found a sign on a road that neither of us had ever seen before it stated "Drift sand over road" and we really did need to put the car into 4WD to get us through it, this was all on a hard formed road.
All the caches that we targeted today were found and are in good condition, all log sheets/books are also good. Again more dirt and dust and flies, we believe that all Australian flies live in South Australia. There are a few less now, some have gone to fly heaven.

A beautiful sunny winter’s day had us deciding to cache in the infrequently visited Lowan Conservation Park.
While there we cooked some snags for lunch and soaked up the vitamin D
While cooking we were briefly visted by a magnificent red capped robin. He was a cock bird and getting ready for breeding season so his chest was also fire engine red.
If only he had stayed long enough for us to get a photo
As expected with this CO all caches were found in excellent condition and all with good co-ords.
Many thanks for the hide CPwanderer

A big day’s caching today, beginning with the early morning event at Mile End and the CITO at Regency Park. Then it was out east of Murray Bridge for the main part of the day to find a selection of Traditional, Mystery and Multi caches with FeatherWaite before ending up at Tailem Bend later in the afternoon for another CITO.
The weather was kind to us, with a lovely sunny, calm and not too hot day. Just perfect for caching!
We found all but one of the caches we targeted and all in all it was a very enjoyable and productive day (from a geocaching perspective at least!).
Thanks CPwanderer for the cache.

Had an early morning start to the day with a trip into the city from the Hills to attend 'For the Early Birds! #20' and 'CITO Regency Park Wetlands'. Headed back up to Bridgewater to pick up e.gregory1 for a caching foray in the Murraylands to find the caches in the Lowan Conservation Park, out to Copeville, Perponda and Borika, then to Marima and the periphery of Karoonda before finishing with the CITO at Tailem Bend. Thanks for the cache CPwanderer!
I always find the easy track when it is too late. Walked through the park today and came across a nice vehicle track. I had already walked via FOUR and SIX so it was a bit late to discover this. Although after checking the cache description I found that it would have told me. Ok log signed and now to make my way back to the car. TFTC
Found with hevwalker as we trek towards Swan Reach for the evening event.
Hevwalker has had these on her radar for sometime and I happily agreed... more smileys to add to my map.
We drove to one or two and we walked to one or two. Heather had done her homework, therefore all geocaches were found.

LiB & I were heading to Swan Reach for the evening event. We decided to collect a few caches on a bit of a detour along the way...
I have had the Lowan Conservation Park in my sights since I started caching nearly 5 years ago but have never managed to get there...
We drove into the park along the track to get 5 & 6...
A nice quick find...

Due to the wind being very strong today, we had to cancel the canoe paddle on the Murray with ilook4geo and put together a land based program. There are not many caches around where we are camped, so we went looking for some nearby.
This looked like a good series to do and it was good as it involved some track driving and some walking as well. Each found log was signed and replaced.
Thank you CPwanderer for placing this series of good sized containers and for maintaining them well.

Out on a cache hunt with goingplaces2, but not doing any water ones today. Picking up some near where we are camped. Cache retrieved, log signed, all was replaced, job done! Time to move on. TFTC.
A nice and easy find
A big day out with 101 finds between Adelaide and Blachetown, definitely didn’t take the google maps recommended route that’s for sure, a detour to Murray bridge then through the back roads to Loxton and back to blanchetown. A nice day out overall when dodging the large dust storm.

Escaped for a caching afternoon with Purrfect Di.
We thought we'd have a nice drive, get away from home and clean up some further afield.
With a late start it wasn't big numbers, but quality instead
Lucky for us the gate was open, so almost a drive by.
Thanks CPwanderer for placing this cache and for leading us here for another fun smiley

Diverted from the highway to finally finish CP's wander in this CP...
A nice walk in amongst the birds and bush...
Found easily, but alas the new cache, after 2.5 years of unlove, is showing serious signs of UV damage rendering it very brittle.
Now off to Lowan Six to complete the set...

Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
After moving to Big Bend between Swan Reach and Nildottie on the Murray River, last night we started having major internet problems. Seems our Modem finally died. After much research we decided to head to Murray Bridge to go to the Telstra shop.
Well that was interesting as we ended up buying a new modem from Dick Smiths not Telstra.
After a frustrating but eventually a successful trip to Murray Bridge we set about visiting this area to complete the series, which we were unlikely to have done if not for this 'urgent' detour.
The gate and it's lock had us laughing here! lol
Thanks for breaking up our journey and helping with our smilie count.

An enjoyable morning stroll along the rocky track in the western end of the park netted me this cache and Lowan SIX
No lowans seen today !!

Camped at Murray Bridge showgrounds, on our 2nd trip around Australia.
Took a drive to Mannum, to pick up some caches in the area.
We found a good variety of cache hides, and enjoyed the country scenery.
This was a great unexpected little series, but all the caches were quickly found.
Many thanks for the hunt, CPwanderer.

Found at 11:21:00 AM
Took the track to within 100 metres and then walked. Nice to see the container had been relpaced.
We had a great day caching with TK2. The morning started out rather warm but soon settled to a lovely day.
Thanks CPwanderer for placing this cache and sharing this area with us!

I was in the area for pedal prix, so of course I had to cache too. Luckily brisal5 was available to help out.... my other usual local was away
Anyhow brisal5 had been wanting to do this series for a while so off we went... I was limping by this stage but managed to slow brisal5 down enough to keep up, plus who would have thought his car could drive down those tracks
Thanks CP, a lovely location.

Out to clear a few caches around Murray Bridge with Mogni after the pedal prix. . I have wanted to do this series of walks for a while. At last a CP walking cache. Mind you if the gate wasn't locked I would have driven in a dusk was fast approaching. A different container! Thought I must have got the wrong cache when I read no-one have been here in 9 months! A read of the previous logs and all is revealled. After taken the quickest 100 metre bush walk in decided to get back the track to SIX via Diagon Alley which turned out to be about 250 metres of bush. Thanks CP
Took the grandchildren out for a few hours to give Mum a break - not a good idea as kids were tired and hot and not into appreciating the natural bushland. Only found 4 of the Lowan series. Will come back and finish when everyone is much happier - maybe leave the kids at home! TFTC and kids loved the great swaps.
It was time to tackle the Lowan series today. Some I walked to and others were a driveby. There were even some bird watchers at Lowan six (they now know what geocaching is). Thanks for the series CP.
Thanks CPwanderer. Nice bit of off road driving. Replaced the container as old cache cracked.
Took a short walk in to GZ and made a quick and easy find. The container is sun-affected and brittle and a couple of bits of it crumbleld in my fingers when I picked it up. We didn't have anything to replace it with so simply turned it around so the cracked part is facing downwards so rain can't enter. TFTC
After having a fantastic time at the Oz Mega event we had to drop the youngest team member back in Melbourne as she had to return to work Tuesday but we are fortunate enough to have the rest of the week off and as the camper was already hooked up it seemed silly not to just keep going picking up a few more caches along the way.
Feeling lazy today we followed the track as close as possible to this one and had an enjoyable walk in dodging the orb webs as we went. The GPSR needle led us directly to gz for a nice easy find and we added our name to the log.
We found a coin in here
Our thanks to CPwanderer once more for the cache.

IT took us a lot longer to get here than it should have! geoD decided to be creative by doing Eight and Seven prior to attempting this one. A successful completion of Seven saw us pop out on private property as we attempted to gain access to here from the southern edge of Lowan CP.
The presence of farm houses, animals, and machinery soo saw us backtracking the way we came in and retracing our steps to see if we had missed a possible entry point.
Eventually we found the way in after trying a number of tracks that definitely are not suitable to a two wheel drive vehicle. In the end our GPSr had us as only having to walk 90 odd meters to GZ!

Up to 5 this one has a walk involved so grab the water bottle and set off GPS says 450m nice walk got to GZ ok but think I walked almost twice the distance there was heaps of spiders they were only golden orb weavers so i guess they were harmless
A chance for Mrs frog to take geomobile off the roads and on to some rougher tracks negotiating tree branches and rocks, a new exp for her T TB and sunscreen sachet L whale TFTC CP Wanderer
Nothing like a cluster of caches on a map to cause a massive detour! #5 of 7, except our GPS didn't have #7 in it at the time, so really it's #5 of 6. Love that you can drive in here - great fun. TFTC
There should really be attributes on every cache, but this one especially, as the number of deadly spiders that we walked around in the short journey to the cache was quite scary!
We quickly left the car, and after only 2m were halted by our first massive web, and associated colourful ( and deadly) spider. After navigating around him, we encountered many more on our way GZ including one whose web I cleared wasn't too happy and dropped down a foot from the branch above, in protest, just as A was going to walk through it.
Thankfully the cache was a nice easy find, and in trying to follow our path back to the car we encountered a few less opportunities to die.

We tackled the Lowan series in reverse order so we would be working our way back towards Adelaide and this was to be the third in the series we would grab. And was the furthermost one we would have to take the Commodore to thankfully. I must get myself a 4WD with some ground clearance one day .
Nice sized cache and an easy find, albeit on a day that was starting to warm up considerably. It was very hot in the bush and I was keeping a weary eye open for snakes. Thankfully, never saw a one [^]. No swaps. Cheers.

Found with Dennisc52 on a special day just to do this series. Found a bit after lowan 4. TFTC TNLN
Set out especially to do this series, after talking to the owner at an event a few weeks ago. Left the car by the road, and set out on foot to find this one, not realising the next one was further in, and we could have driven almost up to it. Oh well, we needed the exercise anyway. TN, L Roo. TFTC.
Drove in along the track to see if we could get closer to Lowan 4, then realised we were on track for 5 & 6. A short walk soon had the cache in hand, although there was a bit of excitement when we discovered a large huntsman spider had decided to sit on the cache! Poor old arachnophobic Mr matmob! Took nothing, left a figurine.
Totally missed the track in on our way along the road [B)], but found it after making a uturn a few hundred metres further on.
Crawled along in the family sedan [8)] (fortunately there wasn't too much mud to navigate), parked and made our way to the cache.
A great navigational exercise had us at GZ in no time flat .

I was going to do this series a couple of nights ago by myself. But decided not to due to an old injury playing up. Came here today with Mooshell. Great area will come back to explore when dry. Tried to get to a spot that a local told me about in a different area. Got hopelessly bogged to the diffs. Spent an hour jacking and putting stones, limbs under tires to get out. 4WD will not get you every where. Did not get bogged on the tracks to your caches. Good enjoyable series. TFTC. SL.
